Abstract

Se proporciona un compuesto absorbente expansible que comprende pulpa en una cantidad de entre alrededor de 18 y alrededor de 90 por ciento en peso,material superabsorbente en una cantidad de entre alrededor de 8 y alrededor de 70 por ciento en pesoy una fibra aglutinante en una cantidad de entrealrededor de 2 y alrededor de 20 por ciento en peso, en donde el compuesto tiene una densidad de entre alrededor de 0,1 g/cc y alrededor de 0,3 g/cc. Talcompuesto puede usarse en productos para la higiene personal tal como panales, calzoncillos/bombachas de aprendizaje, prendas interiores absorbentes,productos para la incontinencia del adulto y similares. Se describe además un proceso para producir dicho compuesto.
