Abstract

Un circuito integrado de transceptor de unico chip (100) posee multipes circuitos ubicados en el chip que instrumentan funciones de recepcion,transmision y procesamiento del sonido. El IC (100) posee interfaces (220, 240, 252, 270, 260, 245, 288, 290) ubicadas entre los circuitos del chip, queconectan un circuito del chip con otro. Al menos algunas de estas interfaces del chip (220, 240, 245, 252, 270) pueden ser configuradas para conectarun circuito de procesamiento externo al chip para reemplazar un correspondiente circuito del chip. En la realizacion preferida, el IC de transceptor deunico chip (100) soporta configuraciones de radio que poseen versiones externas al chip de los correspondientes circuitos del chip, para desempenarfuncionesde extremo frontal del receptor, funciones del sintetizador, funciones del oscilador de referencia y funciones de procesamiento del sonido.
