Abstract
Una red de datos inalámbrica incluye una red de datos conmutados por paquetes inalámbrica para usuarios finales que divide la gestion de movilidaden categorias de traspaso de conexion local, micro, macro y global y minimiza las actualizaciones de transferencias de bases telefonicas de acuerdocon la categoría de traspaso. La red integra mensajes de transferencia de bases telefonicas MAC con mensajes de transferencia de bases telefonicasde la red. La red dirige separadamente funciones de registroa un servidor de registro y dirige funciones de enrrutado a unidadesde funcion de interconexion. La red provee un canal XTunnel intermedio entre un concentrador inalámbrico (denominado también concentrado de acceso AH)y una unidad de funcion de interconexion (unidad IWF) en una red externa, y provee un canal IXTunnel entre una unidad de funcion de interconexion en una redexterna y una unidad de funcion de interconexion en una red local. La red aumenta el protocolo de tunelizacion de capa dos (L2TP) para soportar unsistema terminal movil y realiza el registro de capa de la red antes del inicio de una sesion de comunicaciones de PPP.
