Abstract
Un método para la determinacion de la velocidad en un sistema de comunicacion que utiliza los codigos de cobertura de Walsh dependientes de lavelocidad ortogonales. Los codigos de Walsh dependientes de la velocidad ortogonales se utilizan para cubrir los símbolos de codigo repetidos antes dela transmision por un enlace de comunicacion. Los codigos de Walsh comprenden los codigos binarios ortogonales que aumentan potenciándose al cuadrado porcada velocidad de transmision de datos en el sistema. Los símbolos de codigo se repiten y luego se recuperan a la velocidad de símbolo utilizando los codigosde Walsh ortogonales de la invencion. Los bloques de velocidad de error de símbolo se utilizan para generar las medicionesSER dependientes de lavelocidad para cada una de las velocidades candidatas. Los estimadores SER (230, 232, 243, 236) asociados a los combinadores de soft (204, 206, 208, 210)que usan las hipotesis de velocidad de transmision de datos incorrectas producen velocidades de error de símbolo altas con respecto a la velocidad deerror de símbolo que produce el estimador SER (230, 232, 243, 236) asociado con el combinador de soft (204, 206, 208, 210) que utiliza la hipotesis develocidad correcta. En otra forma de realizacion, los calculadores de medicion de energía (250, 252, 254, 256) se sustituyen por los estimadores de SER (230,232, 243, 236) y utilizados para generar las mediciones de energía recodificadas dependientes de la velocidad para cada velocidad de transmisionde datos candidata. Las mediciones de energía producen un estimado de la energía de símbolo y la energía de símbolo se utiliza como un indicador develocidad de transmision de datos. La invencion también propone a un aparato para llevar a la practica dicho método.
