Abstract
Las características de un canal de comunicacion se utilizan para establecer secuencias claves para utilizar en informacion comunicadaencriptada. En una realizacion, estas características son las impedancias del canal visual izadas desde untransceptor hacia el otro y viceversa.Las claves se pueden establecer con cálculos equivalentes a un procedimiento de decodificacion sujeto a distancia, y el decodifica dorutilizado para establecer una clave p uede ser utilizadopara procesar la subsiguiente transmision de datos. Se proporciona un mecanismo alternativopara establecer y compartir secuencias clave que dependa de un proceso físicocomparado con los sistemas criptográficos clásicos y de clave publica, enel cualcada parte no necesita generar una cantidad pseudo-aleatori a porque la aleatoriedad necesaria está proporcionada por las propiedades del canal decomunicacion en sí mismo. Mediante el uso de un decodificador d e canal, la probabilidad de quedos usuarios establezcan la misma clave secreta essustancialmente de uno y la probabilidad de que un escuchador furtivo establezca la misma clave es sustancialmente de cero. También, la cantidad declav es posibles es lo suficientemente grande comopara que encontrar la correcta mediante una busqueda exhautiva no sea factible.
