Abstract

El aparato 2 incluye una cámara 4 a la cual se le suministra un gas, por ejemplo gas natural, a través de la entrada 6 y que sale a través de la salida8. Se mide la velocidad del sonido SOS a temperatura ambiente utilizando cualquier métodoapropiado tal como medios de cálculo y control electronico 14y un emisor ultrasonico 10 y un receptor ultrasonico 12. La temperatura ambiente Ta se observa por medio del sensor de temperatura 22, y un sensor deconductividad térmica mide laconductividade térmica del gas a dos temperaturas diferentes por encima de la temperatura ambiente. Se mide el valor ThCh de laconductividad térmica a 70sC por encima de la temperatura ambiente y el otro valor ThCl de la conductividad térmica sem ide a 50sC por encima de latemperatura ambiente. Los medios de control 14 calculan el valor calorífico del gas acorde con la formula CV = a.ThCh + b.ThCl + c.SoS + d, Ta + e, T2a + f,donde a, b, c, d, e y f son constantes.
