Abstract

Se trata de una estructura de proteccion flexible y liviana que resulta muy apta para ser utilizada como rodillera, tobillera, muslera, etc., o bienconsistir en la estructura básica para la conformacion de cascos, pecheras, o incluso guantes protectores, que suelen requerirse en la practica de deportesen general. La estructura inventada se destaca por ser muy liviana, flexible y con una alta capacidad para absorber los impactos, sin transmitirlos. Consisteen una malla conformada con flejes helicoidales enhebrados entre si. La malla está doblada sobre sí misma definiendo al menos una cavidad interna donde sealojan costillas de rigidizacion. La misma puede ser constituida de cualquier material tal como composiciones de materias plásticas, fibras artificiales ometales. Se contempla también la posibilidad de incluir varitas rígidas de refuerzo intercaladas en los flejes helicoidales.
