Abstract
Se describe un método para fabricar productos sanitarios de papel a partir de periodicos reciclados. El método incluye los pasos de: (a) reducir a pulpaperiodicos en agua con agitacion a fin de producir una lechada de pulpa, la pulpa extraida delos periodicos tiene un contenido promedio de finos mayorque alrededor de 40% y un valor de Canadian Standard Freeness menor que alrededor de 250; (b) lavar la pulpa, por medio de lo cual se reduce elcontenido de finos a menos de alrededor de 35% y se aumenta el valor de Canadian Standard Freeness a más de alrededor de 300; (c) introducir la pulplatratada a una consistencia de fabricacion de papel en la caja de alimentacion de una máquina para fabricar papel; (d) agregar entre0,01% y 1,5%aproximadamente de un sistema surfactante a la pulpa tratada; y (e) utilizar la pulpa tratada en un proceso de fabricacion de papel a fin de producirproductos sanitarios de papel.
