Abstract

Un aparato para procesar materiales que son sumamente corrosivos mientras están en estado tixotrópico, por ejemplo aluminio. El aparato incluye uncuerpo cilíndrico que está adaptado para recibir el material a través de una entrada. En el cuerpocilíndrico, el material es calentado y sometido aefecto cortante, formando una suspensión semisólida, sumamente corrosiva que es descargada del cuerpo cilíndrico a través de una boquilla. El cuerpocilíndrico está construido con una capa externade un primer material y una capa interna de una aleación con base de Nb que está unida a la capa externa.Dentro del conducto de pasaje del cuerpo cilíndrico está posicionado un tornillo, cuyo grio hace someter el material a efectocortante y desplazar elmaterial a través del cuerpo cilíndrico. El tornillo está construido con una capa externa de aleación con base de Nb que está unida molecularmente a unelemento central interno de un material diferente. La aleación con basede Nb es resistente a los efectos corrosivos del material que está siendo procesado.
