Abstract
Un método y sistema para transmitir senales utilizando desigual protección contra error (UEP). De acuerdo con el método, los símbolos que tienen un nivelmás elevado de protección por codificación se detectan y decodifican primero, se genera lainf ormación de confiabilidad blanda y luego los símbolos y lainformación de confiabilidad blanda previamente detectados, se utilizan para detectar y decodificar símbolos que tengan el siguiente nivel inferior inferiorde protección porcodificación. L os símbolos que tienen niveles menores de protección por codificación contra la decodificación de todas las clases ytodos los símbolos anteriores. Los símbolos de datos pueden intercalarse para intensificar aún más elrendimiento del sistema.
