Abstract

Un dispositivo de monitoreo e informe del estado de las líneas de telefónicas independiente (10) para usarse entreel bucle del predio de unabonado y la red telefónica local. Si se detectauna condición de circuito abierto, cortocircuito o impedancia de bucle inválida, el dispositivo indica una posible falleen el cab leado del predio.El dispositivo entonces informa de la alarma ya sea por indicaciones visuales o audibles (11) electrónicamente a un dispositivo de monitoreo externo por elautodiscado de uno de dos números telefónicos preprogramados. Sepuede informar acerca de la falla por la línea telefónica alámbrica o radioenlace(21) a la oficina central u otro lugar. Además, cuando está configurado para la comunicación con la oficina central por radioenlace, el dispositivo puedeserreajustado en forma remota.
