Abstract

La invencion se refiere a un procedimiento para la elaboracion de aros selladores de grafito expandido, en el que se impregna un aro sellador poroso,elaborado con una densidad inicial prefijada, con una dispersion de PTFE (politetrafluoroetileno), luego se seca y, a continuacion, se comprime a ladensidad final deseada, donde, durante la impregnacion con la dispersion de PTFE, sus particulas de PTFE se desplazan hacia el aro sellador por medio de laaplicacion de un campo electrico
