Abstract

Método y aparato para eliminar la modulación de fase inducida en las ráfagas de color de una senal de video. En el procedimiento conocido de rayascromáticas para evitar la grabación de senales de video, la ráfaga de sincronización cromática presente en cada línea de video activa se modifica demanera tal que cualquier grabación de cinta de video subsiguiente de la senal de video muestre variaciones en la fidelidad cromática que aparecen como bandaso rayas no deseadas de error cromático. Este proceso de rayas cromáticas se supera primero determinando la ubicación de las líneas de video que incluyen elprocedimiento de rayas cromáticas, ya sea mediante experimentación previa o mediante la detección en línea. Luego semodifican algunas o la totalidad delas líneas que incluyen las ráfagas de sincronización cromática modificadas de manera de lograr que la senal de video en general pueda ser grabada. Lamodificación se logra de varias maneras, incluyendo el desplazamiento de fase de la ráfaga de sincronización cromática de rayas a la fase correcta,reemplazando algunas de las ráfagas de sincronización cromática de rayas o una porción de ráfagas de sincronización cromática de rayas en particular demanera que nosean más efectivas y mezclando la ráfaga de sincronización cromática con senales de rayas cromáticas de la fase correcta a fin de eliminarla mayor parte o la totalidad del error de fase presente. Las ráfagas de sincronización cromáticamodificadas son superadas, en otras versiones,modificando las senales de impulsos de sincronización horizontales que preceden en forma inmediata las ráfagas de sincronización cromática de maneratal que las ráfagas de sincronización cromática modificadas no sean detectadas por un videograbador y por lo tanto no tengan efecto alguno.
