Abstract

Se divulga un proceso para mejorar la tasa de polimerización de estado sólido de los polímeros o copolímeros de tereftalato etilénico, que comprendecopolimerización de ácido tereftálico o tereftalato dimetílico y glicol etilénico con 2 a10 mol % de glicol dietilénico y 0,1 a 10 mol % de dimetanolciclohexánico, para formar un prepolímero, formando partículas sólidas a partir del prepolímero y polimerizando en estado sólido las partículas a unatemperatura de transición vítrea y la del punto de fusión de dichas partículas, hasta alcanzarse un valor de V.I. previamente determinado.
