In all the cases mentioned above, however, there are two color layers applied over the entire area, between which an adhesion-controlling functional layer is arranged directly or indirectly.

However, disadvantages of the product structure for producing the tamper-evident effect are evident in the producibility, the machinability as well as in special application situations. The problem with the above construction is the full-surface separation of the two color layers. Already the assembly of the security adhesive tape presents difficulties, since in a cutting or punching process, the easily separating ink layers are violated and, in many cases, brought to partial release. Especially with the bonding of shipping cartons and their containers with a lid consisting of two tabs, the full-surface separation of colors is disadvantageous. Since the tabs of the carton always have a gap, there may be two different problems.

On the one hand, when the security adhesive tape is opened, a continuous layer of the lower color forms. This lower ink layer spans the gap of the tabs and can lead to the opening of the contamination of the interior of the package. In the process, particles or strips of the material fall into the packaging space and attach themselves to the interior material. This contamination is not desirable, especially for sensitive products such as pharmaceuticals.

On the other hand, during shipping with a larger gap of the tabs, the internal material can touch the packaging tape, this contact can lead to the partial separation of the layers and thus to the adhesion. The object of the invention is to provide a multi-layered security adhesive tape which reduces or even avoids the disadvantages mentioned. The object is achieved by an aforementioned multilayer security adhesive tape having the features of claim 1. Preferred developments are subject of the dependent claims.

The multilayer security adhesive tape according to the invention has a carrier layer and a first color layer applied continuously, preferably on a lower side. A continuous application is understood to mean a job which extends over the entire length and width of the security adhesive tape, but which may be arranged in different layers along the height of the security adhesive tape. According to the invention, a second color layer applied in some areas and a separating-force-controlling functional layer applied in regions are provided, as well as an adhesive layer, which in turn is applied continuously. The shapes along the length and width of the security adhesive tape of the second color layer and the separating force-controlling functional layer are matched to one another. Conveniently, limits of the regions of the functional layer are provided within limits of the regions of the second color layer. In other embodiments of the invention, the first color layer is printed on the carrier layer and the functional layer. In a printing process, the first color layer is given the same height along its entire extent in the longitudinal direction and along the width of the security adhesive tape. The adhesive layer 3 may essentially be all known adhesives having a high release force. The adhesive layer 3 may consist of an adhesive based on solvent-containing natural rubber, synthetic rubber and acrylate adhesives, preference is given to adhesives based on acrylate dispersions. These adhesive technologies are used in the adhesive tape industry. The application rate of the adhesive layer 3 is preferably 15 to 60 g / m 2, in a further preferred embodiment the adhesive layer 3 is produced with an application of 20 to 30 g / m 2.
