Definitions
- the invention relates to a removable device for removing the buckle shoe laces and for locking said laces.
- the present invention solves this problem lace shoes for which some users do not wish to form the holding loops.
- the inventor has developed a simple and inexpensive device that allows, discreetly on the shoe, to answer the problem.
- a first object according to the invention consists of a removable device for blocking and eliminating the shoe laces loop consisting of two pieces held together:
- the first so-called stop-lace piece (1) is flat, rigid and of any shape and comprises a minimum of six (2n> 6, with n being an integer of 3 to 5 or more) holes (2, 3, 4) to pass and fix the ends of the laces,
- the second piece of the same dimensions in width and length as the stop-lace (1), is a cover (5) of any shape maintained on the stop-lace (1) by internal grooves (6) located at the lid edge, or in other words, as described in more detail below, the second piece is a lid (5) of shape and dimensions suitable for forming a cavity (7) capable of trapping the end laces (8) between the inner wall of the lid (5) and the lace stop (1) and of appropriate shape and size at its base to fit and be held on the lace stop (1) by grooves interior (6) located at the edge of the lid.
- the shape (outline) of the stop-lace can be generally any, for example oval, round, square, rectangular, polygonal or even irregular and that of the base of the lid is chosen to adapt to this shape and so snap into the grooves on the stop-lace.
- the opening formed by the base (border) of the cover has substantially identical dimensions and a shape substantially complementary to those of the stop-lace.
- the lid itself can be essentially flat (with straight edges) or preferably curved.
- the device generally has a total closed thickness of at most 10 mm, preferably at most 8 mm, more preferably at most 6 mm.
- the laces are no longer entered into the shoes but remain wrapped in the device cover for example over a length of 2 to 4 cm, without harming the aesthetics of the shoe.
- the device allows an adjustable tightening laces by the passage of said laces in the holes.
- the flat or curved lid can be equipped with a design. It is thin and it can receive on the top the printing or inlay of a logo, a brand, a decorative or commercial design, which gives it an undeniable decorative and commercial advantage.
- the present device allows to completely enclose the ends of the laces, without having to knot, it does not include a hinge and does not need pins attached to the cover to jam the laces.
- a second object of the invention relates to a method for blocking and eliminating the loop of shoe laces, comprising the use of a device according to any one of claims 1 to 6 by shoe, wherein
- Each free end of the lace is passed successively (alternatively) by a first hole of a first side of the stop-lace to the second side, then by the second hole again to the first side, then by the third hole back to the second side, and
- the cover is fitted on the stop-lace so as to form the cavity between the second side of the stop-lace (where the ends of the laces are located) and the inside of the cover.
- Figure 1 shows the stop-lace (1) and its cover (5). Both laces are indicated as entering through port 2, then 3, then 4 to remain locked in the lid. The end of the laces is indicated at 8 and the part of the laces going to the shoe is indicated at 9. The groove 6 of the lid allows the edge of the stop-lace piece 1 to be inserted into the lid by simply pressing the fingers. .
- Figure 2 shows a sectional view of the device according to the invention, illustrating the principle of fixing the cover on the stop-lace part and the principle of maintaining the laces.
- the insertion direction of the laces in the stop-lace part is illustrated by an arrow on a lace.
- the size and shape of the stop-lace piece (1) may vary to accommodate the various existing laces.
- the stop-yaw piece is flat and rigid and allows to maintain the laces without them loosen.
- the six minimum holes in the stop-lace part allow the passage of the two laces which are thus blocked.
- the stop-lace piece must maintain sufficient rigidity not to deform under the pressure of the laces. To do this, it is made of a rigid material such as aluminum or a rigid plastic, preferably rigid plastic whose thickness is between 1 and 1.5 mm.
- the stop-lace will have dimensions of about 2 cm in width, 3 cm in length and 1 mm in thickness.
- the stop-lace piece may include up to ten holes to allow maintenance of the two laces.
- six holes is the preferred embodiment according to the invention insofar as the device will have a reasonable length and the stop-lace piece will not tend to bend under the pressure of the laces inserted into the holes or orifices.
- the stop-lace piece may have any shape, including an oval, round, square or rectangular. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the lace stop piece is oval.
- the way to stop the lace is to pass the end of the lace (8) first through the side opening (2), then through a central hole (3) to finally redo it through the second hole lateral (4) so that the end of the lace (8) is found in the cavity (7).
- the binding of the lace is made by tightening by pressing with one hand the stop-lace on the last eyelet (9) output of the shoe, and pulling with the other hand the end of the lace (8).
- the tightening and loosening of the laces can be done simply by sliding the laces in the holes. This technique is simple and effective quickly.
- the dimensions and shape of the lid may vary to fit in the first place to the shape of the stop-lace piece. It can in particular take an oval, round, square or rectangular shape at its base. In addition to the shape at its base, the cover may have any shape, angular or round, any form of fantasy and decorative, to form the cavity (7).
- the cover will preferably be plastic to allow the insertion of the grooves located at the lid edge on the stop-lace piece. Any other flexible material, allowing the insertion of the grooves on the stop-lace part, can be used.
- the lid has the shape of a capsule of oval shape preferably.
- the height of the cover may vary for example from 3 to 10 mm. In a preferred embodiment, the lid has a height of 6 mm.
- the stop-lace part (1) comprises six holes and the total thickness of the device is about 6 to 10 mm.
- the device according to the invention is particularly intended to block laces by a clamping system by passing the end of the laces in an odd number of at least three holes by lace and hide them by a decorative cover.
- Laces cotton or nylon® are correctly stopped in the device according to the invention. Once inserted into the holes or holes of the stop-lace part, they do not slip and thus allow to keep the shoe closed at will (loose or firmly tightened).
- the holes blocking the laces in the stop-lace piece have a dimension adapted to the laces to allow clamping and maintaining the laces.
- the size of the holes will preferably be just greater than the diameter of the laces allowing the laces to pass through in order to effect tightening, without the laces being able to slide.
