- Step S 102 searching weather condition information and a street view graph corresponding to the geographical location information, determining a dynamic presentation graph of a weather condition based on the weather condition information, and retuning the dynamic presentation graph of the weather condition and the street view graph.
- a server Upon receiving a weather condition query request, a server searches the weather condition query request for geographical location information, searching weather condition information corresponding to the geographical location information from various weather condition sources, and searching a street view graph corresponding to the geographical location information from various street view providers.
- a street view graph is a 360-degree panoramic image captured by a pro-camera, it utilizes a specific player to simulate a two-dimensional plane graph into a three-dimensional to be provided to users.
- street view graphs have the following advantages: (1) a strong sense of immersion, giving the user an immersive feeling; (2) provided with location information to facilitate positioning; and (3) generated along the street by batch production, covering a large number of location information. Because of the above advantages, a street view graph is perfectly fit for directly presenting weather conditions and the changes thereof in an immersive way.
- the server After searching weather condition information corresponding to the geographical location information from various weather condition sources, the server determines corresponding dynamic presentation graph of the weather condition.
- a dynamic presentation graph of the weather condition is a dynamic graph that is generated according to a weather phenomenon and the indexes of the weather phenomenon, wherein weather phenomena usually refer to 82 categories of sandstorm, continuous rain, rime, snow pack, heavy rain, frozen rain, blizzards, dust tornadoes, heavy rainstorm, sand blowing and etc. for example, a weather phenomenon of light snow may be generated into a dynamic graph with a transparent background of lightly snowing according to materials of weather condition indexes.
- a dynamic presentation graph is preferably a transparent background image, such as a gif format image.
- the server may return the dynamic presentation graph and the street view graph to the end point.
- Step S 103 the dynamic presentation graph of the weather condition is superimposed on the street view graph for presentation.
- the end point superimposes the dynamic presentation graph of the weather condition on the street view graph for presentation, so as to eventually display it to a user.
- the dynamic presentation graph of the weather condition is superimposed on the street view graph for presentation as a mask, it may be regarded as that a layer of "glass sheet” is covered upon current layer (i.e., the street view graph).
- This kind of "glass sheet” is generally transparent or opaque black, the former displays all the images beneath the mask, the latter covers part of the image beneath the mask.
- a plurality of drawing tools may be employed to color the mask (i.e., the "glass sheet") with only black and white may be colored, part of a mask that is colored with black becomes opaque and the current layer under that mask cannot be seen; coloring with white makes the mask become transparent and image of the current layer under that mask can be seen; and coloring with gray makes the mask become semitransparent whose degree of transparence is determined by gray level of the color that is used.
- a mask is a special kind of selection area, who does not intend to perform operations on the selection area; on the contrary, it intends to protect the selection area from being operated. Meanwhile, parts of an image without the scope of a mask may be edited or processed. Although a mask is a selection area, it is different from common selection areas whose operating trend is to perform operations on the selected area, on the other hand, a mask protect the selected area from being operated instead of applying operations on it.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the disclosure more apparent, the disclosure will be further illustrated in details in connection with accompanying figures and embodiments hereinafter. It should be appreciated that the detailed embodiments described herein are only used to explain the disclosure but not to limit the disclosure.
In embodiments of the disclosure, weather condition that realizes all-views
simulation within a region is provided in various Internet applications (e.g., Internet map products). For example, a dynamic presentation graph of a weather condition representing a visualized material (e.g., heavy rain, moderate rain, light rain, etc.) may be updated at an end point side in real time by utilizing three-dimensional environment of street view. After a weather condition is updated, corresponding update is performed to a dynamic presentation graph of the weather condition, thus visualization effect of weather indexes under panorama is significantly improved.
Embodiment of the present disclosure provides a method for displaying weather conditions, the method may be specifically implemented in a specific server at a network side. The method comprises: receiving a weather condition query request from an end point, the weather condition query request comprises geographical location information of the end point; searching weather condition information and a street view graph corresponding to the geographical location information, determining a dynamic presentation graph of a weather condition based on the weather condition information, and sending the dynamic presentation graph of the weather condition and the street view graph to the end point, wherein the dynamic presentation graph of the weather condition is superimposed on the street view graph for presentation.
Fig. 1 is a flow diagram of a method for weather condition presentation according to an embodiment of the disclosure.
As shown in Fig. 1, the method comprises:
At step S 101, a weather condition query request comprising geographical location information is sent.
Here, an end point sends a weather condition query request comprising geographical location information to a server. The server may receive the weather condition query request from the end point in various ways. Preferably, geographical location information of the end point location information is included in the weather condition query request, so that the server may query weather conditions of the location where an end point locates according to the geographical location information of the end point.
According to information transfer direction and time relationship, communications between an end point and a server may be divided in to simplex communication, half-duplex communication and full duplex communication, and the like.
In simplex communication, simplex communication channels are unidirectional
channels. In half-duplex communication, bidirectional communication may be realized, but such communications cannot be performed simultaneously in both directions, they must take turns and being communicated alternately. That is, either end of the communication channel may be a transmitting end as well as a receiving end; but at the same time, the information can only have one direction of transmission, examples of daily life may comprise walkie-talkie communications. In full-duplex bidirectional signal transmission may exist at any time during communication. Full-duplex communication allows data being transmitted in both directions simultaneously, which also refers to as two-way simultaneous communication; that is both of the communication parties may transmit and receive data simultaneously. In full duplex mode , each end of a communication system are provided with a transmitter and receiver, therefore, data may be controlled to be transmitted in both directions simultaneously. Full duplex mode without does not need switching between direction, therefore, there is no delay due to witching operations.
In embodiments of the disclosure, an end point may reach an agree on specific communication protocol with a server, wherein the format to be used by data units, meanings and information that should be included in data units, connection method, time sequence of information transmission and reception, thereby ensuring that data within a network is smoothly transmitted to a determined destination. For example, communication protocols that may be employed by embodiments of the disclosure include, but are not limited to: Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/ IP), Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), Simple Mail Transfer Protocol 3 (SMTP), Post Office Protocol version (POP3), and the like.
Moreover, a server may receive a weather condition query request via a plurality of communication standards. For example, Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM), Wideband Code Division Multiple Access (WCDMA), Code Division Multiple Access 2000 (CDMA-2000), Time Division Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access (TD-SCDMA) and other communications standards may be employed.
The weather condition query request itself may be in plurality of forms. For example, the request may include but are not limited to: a short message (SMS), an e-mail, instant messaging (IM) messages, multimedia messages (MMS) or voice messages, and the like.
At Step S 102, searching weather condition information and a street view graph
corresponding to the geographical location information, determining a dynamic presentation graph of a weather condition based on the weather condition information, and retuning the dynamic presentation graph of the weather condition and the street view graph.
Upon receiving a weather condition query request, a server searches the weather condition query request for geographical location information, searching weather condition information corresponding to the geographical location information from various weather condition sources, and searching a street view graph corresponding to the geographical location information from various street view providers.
A street view graph is a 360-degree panoramic image captured by a pro-camera, it utilizes a specific player to simulate a two-dimensional plane graph into a three-dimensional to be provided to users. Compared with ordinary graph, street view graphs have the following advantages: (1) a strong sense of immersion, giving the user an immersive feeling; (2) provided with location information to facilitate positioning; and (3) generated along the street by batch production, covering a large number of location information. Because of the above advantages, a street view graph is perfectly fit for directly presenting weather conditions and the changes thereof in an immersive way.
After searching weather condition information corresponding to the geographical location information from various weather condition sources, the server determines corresponding dynamic presentation graph of the weather condition.
A dynamic presentation graph of the weather condition is a dynamic graph that is generated according to a weather phenomenon and the indexes of the weather phenomenon, wherein weather phenomena usually refer to 82 categories of sandstorm, continuous rain, rime, snow pack, heavy rain, frozen rain, blizzards, dust tornadoes, heavy rainstorm, sand blowing and etc. for example, a weather phenomenon of light snow may be generated into a dynamic graph with a transparent background of lightly snowing according to materials of weather condition indexes. A dynamic presentation graph is preferably a transparent background image, such as a gif format image.
The server may return the dynamic presentation graph and the street view graph to the end point.
At Step S 103, the dynamic presentation graph of the weather condition is superimposed on the street view graph for presentation.
Here, upon obtaining the dynamic presentation graph and the street view graph, the end point superimposes the dynamic presentation graph of the weather condition on the street view graph for presentation, so as to eventually display it to a user.
The dynamic presentation graph of the weather condition is superimposed on the street view graph for presentation as a mask, it may be regarded as that a layer of "glass sheet" is covered upon current layer (i.e., the street view graph). This kind of "glass sheet" is generally transparent or opaque black, the former displays all the images beneath the mask, the latter covers part of the image beneath the mask. A plurality of drawing tools may be employed to color the mask (i.e., the "glass sheet") with only black and white may be colored, part of a mask that is colored with black becomes opaque and the current layer under that mask cannot be seen; coloring with white makes the mask become transparent and image of the current layer under that mask can be seen; and coloring with gray makes the mask become semitransparent whose degree of transparence is determined by gray level of the color that is used. A mask is a special kind of selection area, who does not intend to perform operations on the selection area; on the contrary, it intends to protect the selection area from being operated. Meanwhile, parts of an image without the scope of a mask may be edited or processed. Although a mask is a selection area, it is different from common selection areas whose operating trend is to perform operations on the selected area, on the other hand, a mask protect the selected area from being operated instead of applying operations on it.
In one embodiment:
the weather condition query request of Step S 101 further comprises time inquiry information. At this time, searching the weather condition information corresponding to the geographical location information of Step S 102 comprises: searching the weather condition information whose issue time of the weather condition corresponds to the time inquiry information and that corresponds to the geographical location information at the mean time; and the time inquiry information is further presented on the street view graph.
In one embodiment:

of the weather condition on the street view graph.
In one embodiment:
the method further comprises: configuring the dynamic presentation graph of the weather condition and the street view graph utilizing an image profile in a format of extensible markup Language (XML), wherein the image profile comprises a location field for configuring a geographical location where the street view graph located and an image field for configuring the dynamic presentation graph of the weather condition.
Preferably, the image profile further comprises a timestamp, before sending the dynamic presentation graph of the weather condition to the end point, timestamps comprised in image profiles are compared to determine whether the image profile has an updated version, if there is an updated version then the latest image profiles is obtained.
Preferably, the dynamic presentation graph of the weather condition and the street view graph are sent to the end point by progressive streaming of dynamic media or by realtime streaming of dynamic media.
In progressive streaming, an end point downloads the dynamic presentation graph of the weather condition and the street view graph progressively, a user may observe the graphs which downloading them, but the observation is not synchronized with transmissions on the server, the user could only view information transmitted by the server after a period of delay. In other words, a user always views information that is previously transmitted by the server several time before, during this procedure, the user could only view the downloaded part and are not able to jump the un-downloaded part.
In realtime streaming, the dynamic presentation graph of the weather condition and the street view graph may be viewed in real time. During observation, contents may be fast-forwarded or rewound by a user. But in realtime streaming mode, the received signal may have a poor quality if the network traffic transmission is not ideal.
In embodiments of the disclosure, pull protocol may be employed. Specific image profiles are uploaded to a server by operations staff, and may be updated regularly to ensure that a user could pull the dynamic presentation graph of the weather condition when visiting. After a successful pull, the dynamic presentation graph of the weather condition is added to users browser side within corresponding
street view scenario according to profiles at the server side.
For example, the image profile may take a format of XML format, specifically as follows:

Dynamic presentation graphs of the weather condition comprise 82 categories of weather phenomena such as sandstorm, continuous rain, rime, snow pack, heavy rain, frozen rain, blizzards, dust tornadoes, heavy rainstorm, sand blowing and etc.
At step S202, after weather condition materials are prepared, the server updates
the image profile.
At step S203, the server determines whether there is an updated version of the image profile based on comparison between timestamps within image profiles, if there is an updated version then perform step S204 and the subsequent steps, otherwise quit the process.
At step S204, the server parses the image profile to obtain configuration information of the up-to-date image profile, and then combines it with local existing configuration information to updated former dynamic presentation graph of the weather condition that is no longer needed.
At step S205, the server authenticates MD5 value of the dynamic presentation graph of the weather. Here the server imitates download request for dynamic presentation graph of the weather in turn according to a download sequence. After each download task is accomplished, the server further needs to perform MD5 value checksum for the dynamic presentation graph files of the weather, so as to ensure legality of the files.
At step S206, the server collects download tasks of respective dynamic presentation graphs of the weather, and sends the tasks to an end point.
Detailed steps for an end point to obtain dynamic presentation graphs of the weather condition (or download tasks) from a server are described above. Then in response to a weather condition query request sent from the end point to the server, the server may push the up-to-date dynamic presentation graph of the weather to the end point. Actually, an end point could also obtain street view graphs (or download tasks) from a server based on similar process.
For the end point side, upon obtaining dynamic presentation graph of the weather condition (or download task) and the street view graph (or download task) from a server, the end point needs to display the graphs.
Specifically, the end point may read the image profile via a network, and fills the dynamic presentation graphs of the weather condition in pointed operation area according to configuration information included in the image profile. Time-validity of the configuration information is subject to the content pushed by the user during the last login. Thus if information changes in aspects such as business logo bit between two logins, then performance of such change is that there would be delay in one login.
