Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé pour déterminer et signaler l'utilisation d'un contenu. Le procédé passe par la détermination du fait que l'on accède à un fichier de contenu dans un dispositif de réseau, la détermination d'une plage de taux de données d'un accès au fichier naissant de la consommation par l'utilisateur du fichier de contenu basée sur le type du fichier de contenu et la mesure d'un taux de données auquel se fait l'accès au fichier de contenu. Le procédé comprend également la détermination du fait qu'un utilisateur accède au fichier de contenu pour consommation à l'aide de la plage déterminée et du débit de données mesuré et, après la détermination que l'utilisateur accède à un fichier de contenu pour consommation, la consommation du fichier de contenu par l'utilisateur est rapportée à un serveur.
