Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un appareil permettant de fournir des sons pour remplacer des tonalités de retour d'appel. Le procédé de l'invention consiste : à recevoir un premier signal de demande de connexion d'appel du terminal appelant dans le centre de commutation d'appelant au terminal appelé; à transmettre un signal d'appel au terminal appelé par établissement d'une correspondance avec la première demande de connexion d'appel; à évaluer si le terminal appelant est enregistré au service pour fournir les sons permettant de remplacer les tonalités de retour d'appel; lorsque le terminal appelant est enregistré au service pour fournir les sons permettant de remplacer les tonalités de retour d'appel en fonction de l'évaluation, à transmettre un deuxième signal de demande de connexion d'appel au centre de commutation local, et à recevoir un deuxième signal de réponse d'appel généré par établissement d'une correspondance avec le premier signal de réponse de connexion d'appel reçu par le centre de commutation local depuis le générateur conçu pour générer les sons permettant de remplacer les tonalités de retour d'appel, et à transmettre un troisième signal de réponse de connexion d'appel correspondant au centre de commutation d'appelant. Le générateur conçu pour générer les sons permettant de remplacer les tonalités de retour d'appel extrait les sons permettant de remplacer les tonalités de retour d'appel correspondant au terminal appelant par établissement d'une correspondance avec le troisième signal de demande de connexion d'appel, et transmet les sons extraits permettant de remplacer les tonalités de retour d'appel au terminal appelant, par l'intermédiaire du centre de commutation d'appelant, à l'aide d'une voie de conversation établie entre le terminal appelant au moyen des premier, deuxième, et troisième signaux de demande de connexion d'appel et des signaux de réponse.
