Abstract

L'invention concerne une carte de PC permettant l'utilisation d'un dispositif hôte sur un réseau de télécommunications. La carte à microprocesseur (32) comporte un circuit (37) de transmission et de réception, constituant un téléphone sans fil et un récepteur de télémesure. Le récepteur de télémesure est utilisé pour recevoir un signal de télémesure de « réveil » activant la carte et faisant composer au téléphone sans fil un numéro de téléphone prédéterminé. La communication arrive à un commutateur de réseau de télécommunications, qui établit ensuite une connexion bidirectionnelle entre le dispositif hôte et la personne souhaitant avoir la communication.
