Description
Anzeiqeeinrichtunσ für FeuerlöscherDisplay device for fire extinguishers
The invention relates to a display device for fire extinguishers according to the preamble of claim 1.
With fire extinguishers, especially in commercial companies, it is necessary to indicate the location of the fire extinguisher so that the fire extinguisher can be easily found when needed. Information boards are usually used for this purpose. In the Federal Republic of Germany, these boards are standardized and consist of a red-bordered, square field with the capital letter F. These information boards are often arranged in a place that is difficult to see, so that they are difficult to find in the excitement of a fire. In addition, in the event of a fire, the smoke development can also make it difficult to find the information boards.
The invention has for its object to make it easier to find the fire extinguisher when needed. This object is achieved according to the invention by a display device of the type mentioned at the beginning, which has the features of the characterizing part of claim 1.
Advantageous embodiments and developments of the invention are specified in the subordinate claims.
Der Hinweis auf denAccording to the invention, the display device has a lamp which illuminates the information board. The reference to the
Location of the fire extinguisher, e.g. the capital letter F is therefore self-illuminating and is quickly seen even in the excitement of a fire and in poor visibility conditions due to smoke and darkness.
In addition, the display device preferably also has an alarm device. The alarm device can have an acoustic signal source or a light source of high light intensity or both. The alarm device is put into operation in the event of a fire, for which purpose a fire alarm, e.g. with a heat and / or smoke sensor actuated an alarm contact. The alarm device gives an increased indication of the location of the fire extinguisher so that it can be found immediately even under the most unfavorable conditions. The alarm device is preferably operated intermittently in order to draw attention to the location of the fire extinguisher even more clearly.
Ist der Feuermelder nur der jeweiligenThe fire alarm can be integrated in the housing of the display device. Is the fire alarm only the respective one
In größeren Gebäuden mit mehreren Feuerlöschern können die Feuermelder sämtlicher Anzeigeeinrichtungen überAssociated with the display device, only the alarm device of the fire extinguisher or fire extinguishers in the fire area is put into operation. Spare sheet Lines or radio are connected to each other so that when a fire alarm responds, the alarm devices of all display devices are put into operation. It is also possible to trigger an alarm from a control center and to send an alarm message to a control center.
In a further embodiment, the alarm device can also be used as an anti-theft device. For this purpose, another alarm contact is provided, which is mechanically connected to the fire extinguisher. If the fire extinguisher is removed from its location, the mechanical contact activates the alarm contact and triggers the alarm device.
Finally, the alarm device can also be triggered if the lamp illuminating the information panel fails. This ensures that the lamp is replaced immediately in the event of a failure and that the display device is always ready for operation.
So that the display device remains functional even in the event of a power failure, which can also occur in particular in the event of a fire, an accumulator is preferably provided which is charged via the mains connection in normal operation. In the event of a power failure, the alarm device is fed by the accumulator if necessary.
The invention is explained in more detail below on the basis of an exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing.

The display device has a housing 10 in the form of a cuboid, which, as a front plate 12, bears a square information panel in the design of the standardized information panels. The front panel 12 can be made matt transparent overall with a white background, red border and red capital letter F. It is also possible to make the front panel transparent only in the area of the red letter F and possibly the red border. Of course, other designs of the information symbol are also possible, as are common in the respective country.
The housing 10 of the display device is fastened to the wall in the vicinity of a fire extinguisher 14, as shown in FIG. 3. If necessary, the housing 10 can also be attached directly to the holder of the fire extinguisher.
The circuit arranged in the housing 10 is shown schematically in FIG.
The display device is supplied with current via a mains connection 16 and a transformer 18. A lamp 22, a first alarm contact 24, are connected in series in a first conductor loop 20 fed by the transformer 18, a second alarm contact 26 and the control circuit of a relay 28. The conductor loop 20 is shown schematically in the drawing as well as all other conductor loops described below only by a single line.
Über eine zweite Leiterschleife 32 und den Arbeitskreis desThe lamp 22 illuminates the front panel 12 from the inside of the housing 10. The first alarm contact 24 is normally closed and is mechanically connected to the fire extinguisher 14 by means of a pull wire 30 (FIG. 3). A pull on the pull wire 30 causes the first alarm contact 24 to open. The second alarm contact 26 is also normally closed. The second alarm contact 26 is actuated by a fire alarm, which may have a heat and smoke sensor, for example, and is opened in the event of a fire. If several fire extinguishers are present in a building, the fire alarm signals can be transmitted to all display devices via lines or preferably by radio, so that when a fire alarm responds, the second alarm contacts 26 of all display devices are actuated. Via a second conductor loop 32 and the working group of
Relay 28 and an interval circuit 34 are fed a buzzer 36 and a flash lamp 38. An electrolytic capacitor 40 connected upstream of the flash lamp 38 ensures the current intensity required for the flash lamp 38.
Furthermore, an accumulator 42 is provided in the housing 10 of the display device and is permanently charged by the transformer 18 via a conductor loop 44. The accumulator 42 feeds the alarm device, which consists of the interval circuit 34, the buzzer 36 and the flash lamp 38, via a conductor loop 46 parallel to the conductor loop 32 via the relay 28. The working circuit of a relay 48, which is controlled by the transformer 18 via the conductor loop 50, is connected into the conductor loop 46.
Srsatzblatt
Die Anzeigeeinrichtung arbeitet in folgender Weise:Replacement sheet The display device works in the following way:
In normal operation, the display device is supplied with current via the network connection 16. The alarm contacts 24 and 26 are closed so that the lamp 22 lights up and the front panel 12 is constantly illuminated uniformly. There is therefore a clear self-illuminating reference to the fire extinguisher 14 which is sufficient for the normal case.
The current flowing in the conductor loop 20 controls the relay 28 such that the connection from the conductor loops 32 and 46 to the interval circuit 34 of the alarm device is interrupted. The accumulator 42 is kept charged via the line 44. The relay 48 is controlled via the conductor loop 50 so that the conductor loop 46 is interrupted.
Wird der Feuerlöscher 14 entfernt, so wird auf den Zuσ- draht 30 ein Zug ausgeübt, der den ersten AlarmkontaktIf the fire extinguisher 14 is removed, a pull is exerted on the feed wire 30, which is the first alarm contact
As a result, the circuit of the conductor loop 20 is interrupted. In the same way, the circuit of the conductor circuit 20 is interrupted when the second alarm contact 26 is opened because an external fire alarm responds. Finally, the circuit of the conductor loop 20 is also interrupted when the lamp 22 is defective. If for any of these reasons the circuit of the conductor loop 20 is interrupted, no current flows through the control circuit of the relay 28 and the relay 28 connects the alarm device to the conductor loops 32 and 46.
Ersatzblatt
Spare sheet As long as there is a mains voltage at the mains connection 16, the alarm device is fed from the mains via the conductor loop 32 and the conductor loop 46 remains interrupted by the relay 48. The alarm device is put into operation, the buzzer 36 being actuated intermittently by the interval circuit 34 and the flashing lamp 38 illuminating intermittently with high light intensity.
If the power supply to the network fails, the relay 48 is switched via the conductor loop 50 such that the circuit of the conductor loop 46 is closed and the alarm device is now fed by the accumulator 42.
The alarm device thus also works in the event of a power failure, but the accumulator 42 is only used when the power supply has actually failed.
The relays 28 and 48 can be electromagnetic relays, reed relays, electronic circuits or the like.
