DESIGN FOR A CARPET-PATTERN.

Specification forming part of Design No. 5,326, dated October 31, 1871.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, THOMAS BARCLAY, o' Glasgow, Scotland, have invented or produced a new and original Design for a Pattern to be inwrought into Ingrain and other Carpeting in eolors similar to those painted on the drawings or photographs accompanying this specification, or in other colors substituted in the plaee of those painted on the drawings or photographs herewith; and I do hereby deelare that the drawings accompanying this speeiiieation do give and convey, to any one skilled in the art of carpet- Weaving, a defined and thorough description of the nature of my invention, and are sufficient to enable any one skilled in the art of earpet-weav ing to use lny invention.
