FIGS. 1 to 3 , thebaby bib 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a wearingpart 200 worn by a baby to cover a part under the baby's chin; and acover part 300 detachably coupled to a lower end of the wearingpart 200 and configured to cover an upper side of a dining table 10 (seeFIG. 4 ). - Here, the wearing
part 200 is placed under the chin so as to cover the front of the upper body of a baby when worn, and includes abody part 210 for covering the chest area under the chin; and anextension part 220 formed to extend downward such that the width thereof increases from a bottom end of thebody part 210. - A
neck insertion groove 211 is concavely formed in a top center of thebody part 210. Thebaby bib 100 may be worn such that the baby's neck is inserted into theneck insertion groove 211. - A
neck strap part 212 extends from one side of theneck insertion groove 211 to be hung on the baby's neck so as to prevent thebody part 210 from being twisted or unexpectedly peeled off. For example, theneck strap part 212 may extend upward from a top end of thebody part 210 to be obliquely inclined to an upper part of theneck insertion groove 211, as shown in the drawing. - In addition, an end of the
neck strap part 212 and the other end of theneck insertion groove 211 are provided withfirst coupling members 213, such as a Velcro tape or a snap button, such that theneck strap part 212 wrapped around the back of the baby's neck can be coupled to the other side of theneck insertion groove 211, and the end of theneck strap part 212 and the other end of theneck insertion groove 211 correspond to each other. - As another embodiment,
neck strap parts 212 formed on opposite sides of theneck insertion groove 211 may be tied and fixed behind the baby's neck. -
Body strap parts 221 are respectively formed on opposite upper end sides of theextension part 220. Thebody strap parts 221 are wrapped around the back of the baby's torso to fix theextension part 220, and thebody strap parts 221 are formed in a band shape to extend upward from opposite upper end sides of theextension part 220. Further, respective ends of the pair ofbody strap parts 221 are provided withsecond coupling members 222, such as a Velcro tape or a snap button, to wrap around the back of the baby's torso and to be coupled to each other. As another embodiment, thebody strap parts 221 may be tied and fixed behind the baby's torso. - The
cover part 300 is detachably coupled to a bottom end of the wearingpart 200. Thecover part 300 is formed to be hung on a front end part of an upper surface of the dining table 10 and cover the same. When thebib 100 is worn, thecover part 300 together with theextension part 220 covers an upper surface of the dining table 10, thereby preventing the dining table 10 from getting dirty due to food spilled by a baby. - A
zipper part 400 is formed between the wearingpart 200 and thecover part 300. As needed, only the wearingpart 200 may be used, or the wearingpart 200 and thecover part 300 may be used together by connecting thecover part 300 to a bottom end of the wearingpart 200. - For example, a pair of
zipper tapes 410 may be provided to respectively correspond to a bottom end of the wearingpart 200 and a top end of thecover part 300 and face each other, as shown in the drawing. In addition, azipper slider 420 for opening and closing the pair ofzipper tapes 410 is mounted to slide along thezipper tapes 410. - According to an embodiment of the present invention, the pair of
zipper tapes 410 may be opened and closed by a pair ofzipper sliders 420 whose opening and closing directions are opposite to each other. For example, thezipper sliders 420 on a left side of the drawing open the pair ofzipper tapes 410 when moving to the left, and close the pair ofzipper tapes 410 when moving to the right. Conversely, thezipper sliders 420 on a right side of the drawing open the pair ofzipper tapes 410 when moving to the right, and close the pair ofzipper tapes 410 when moving to the left. - In this case, an opening part 350 (see
FIG. 8 ) may be formed between theextension part 220 and thecover part 300 by moving the pair ofzipper sliders 420 away from each other, and tableware 20 (seeFIG. 8 ) may be placed on a top surface of the dining table 10 exposed through theopening part 350 when eating. The size of theopening part 350 may be adjusted by adjusting a distance between the pair ofzipper sliders 420 according to the size of thetableware 20, which will be described again with reference toFIG. 8 . - A pocket-shaped
insertion part 500 is formed on a back side of thecover part 300. Theinsertion part 500 serves to wrap and cover a front end part of the dining table 10, and movement of thecover part 300 may be prevented by inserting the front end part of the dining table 10 into theinsertion part 500. - Here, the
insertion part 500 includes ahook part 510 extending rearward, upward from a bottom end of thecover part 300 to be spaced apart by a predetermined distance from thecover part 300; and a pair ofside parts 520 respectively formed on opposite sides of thehook part 510 along the edges of thehook part 510 and thecover part 300. In addition, a space, into which a front end part of the dining table 10 is to be inserted, is partitioned due to thehook part 510, thecover part 300, and theside parts 520 on opposite sides of thehook part 510. - As another embodiment of the present invention, the wearing
part 200 and thecover part 300 may be naturally formed in an integrated shape. -
FIGS. 5 and 6 illustrate use states of an insertion part whose side part widths are adjusted according to the thickness of a dining table, specifically illustrate a state in which the wearingpart 200 is separated from thecover part 300 and a front end part of the dining table 10 is inserted into theinsertion part 500. - A pair of
third coupling members 521 may be provided to be spaced apart from each other by a predetermined distance in a width direction on opposite upper end sides of theside parts 520. The width of theside parts 520 may be adjusted according to the thickness of an upper surface of the dining table 10 by coupling the pair ofthird coupling members 521 to each other, or theinsertion part 500 may be firmly fixed. For example, when the thickness of an upper surface of the dining table 10 is thin, the widths of theside parts 520 may be reduced by coupling the pair ofthird coupling members 521 to each other as shown inFIG. 6 . Thethird coupling members 521 may be snap buttons corresponding to each other, or various coupling means, such as a Velcro tape, may be applied. -
FIG. 7 illustrates a use state of an insertion part whose width is adjusted using a drawstring. Specifically, a top end of thehook part 510 is provided with thedrawstring 511, and one side of thedrawstring 511 is provided with astring fastener 512 for length adjustment of thedrawstring 511. When a plate width of the dining table 10 is narrow, the width of theinsertion part 500 may be reduced by pulling and tightening thedrawstring 511, and thecover part 300 and theinsertion part 500 may be brought into close contact with the dining table 10 to prevent movement of thecover part 300. -
FIG. 8 illustrates a use state wherein an opening part is formed in a cover part according to an embodiment of the present invention. - In the case of a dining table 10 or
tableware 20 for babies, anti-slip treatment is applied to a top surface of the dining table 10 or a bottom surface of thetableware 20 to prevent slipping. For example, an adsorption part made of a synthetic resin material, such as rubber or silicone, may be formed on an upper surface of the dining table 10 or a bottom surface of thetableware 20, or tableware for babies (so-called “absorbent tableware”) made of a non-slip synthetic resin material such as rubber or silicone may be provided. - In this case, it is necessary to expose the top surface of the dining table 10 through the
cover part 300 orextension part 220 for covering the top surface of the dining table 10 so that thetableware 20 and the top surface of the dining table 10 are in direct contact with each other. Theopening part 350 of thebib 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention is formed by opening thezipper part 400 formed between the wearingpart 200 and thecover part 300. Movement of thetableware 20 can be prevented by directly seating thetableware 20 on the top surface of the dining table 10 exposed through theopening part 350. In addition, the size of theopening part 350 may be adjusted by adjusting an interval between the pair ofzipper sliders 420 according to the size of thetableware 20. -
FIG. 9 illustrates a perspective view of a baby bib whose wearing part is provided with arm insertion parts according to another embodiment of the present invention. - According to another embodiment of the present invention, a pair of
arm insertion parts 600 may be formed on opposite sides of thebody part 210. Thearm insertion parts 600 may be formed integrally with thebody part 210. As another embodiment, thearm insertion parts 600 may be separably coupled to thebody part 210 through a coupling member such as a zipper, a Velcro tape, or a snap button. - In this case, both arms of the baby are respectively inserted into the
arm insertion parts 600 when worn, and thus, it is possible to prevent saliva, snot, food, etc. from being deposited on the arms of the baby. - For example, the
bib 100 may be used as an apron such as an art gown by separating thecover part 300 from the wearingpart 200, and, in this case, it is possible to prevent dirt, such as paint, from splashing on the baby's arm. - Although the embodiments of the present invention have been described above, it will be understood that those of ordinary skill in the art to which the present invention pertains can implement various modifications without departing from the scope of the claims of the present invention.
- A baby bib according to the present invention can prevent the floor, a table top, or clothes from becoming dirty due to food when a baby eats.
- In addition, the baby bib according to the present invention allows attachment of various types and standards of absorbent tableware to a dining table for use.
- Further, the baby bib according to the present invention can prevent the movement of a cover part when eating and can be worn like an apron by separating a wearing part from the cover part.
