Abstract
Description
- This application claims priority from Taiwan Patent Application No. 103138260, filed on Nov. 4, 2014 and No. 103145141, filed on Dec. 24, 2014, in the Taiwan Intellectual Property Office, the content of which are hereby incorporated by reference in their entirety for all purposes.
- 1. Field of the Invention
- This application relates to a method and a device of community interaction, and more particularly, to a method and a device of community interaction with a toy as the center which are applied to communicate the user with the relatives and friends interactively.
- 2. Description of the Related Art
- Currently, thanks to the popularity of electronic devices and the burgeoning development of the technology of network communication, various software and application programs related to the community interaction are spring up like mushrooms, and those who have the smartphones or tablets are thus able to easily communicate with relatives and friends. In addition, the technology of the network communication also enables the text or voice messages being transmitted from one's electronic device to another's within an effective range of the network transmission, such that the distance among persons can be shortened greatly. As a result, the various software and application programs related to the community interaction have tremendously changed the ways of communication among the people.
- Most of the various software and application programs related to the community interaction are configured with an option of creating group, and the groups can be sorted into different categories such as family, friends, and so on based on the user's choice. If a message involved with one of the groups is desired to be sent, the user can send the message to the group or send it to the individual selectively. The communication method, however, is limited. For example, if the used phone cannot be installed with the application programs, groups are not able to be created such that the function of community interaction fails to be performed; besides, provide that one child has no smartphone, messages from parents or others cannot be sent through the aforementioned method.
- As a result, the present invention provides a method and a device of community interaction with a toy as the center without applying the smart electronic devices. By means of the present invention, the group with community interaction can be created such that the relationship among persons can be connected closely.
- In view of the above-mentioned technical problems, the objective of the present invention provides a method and a device of community interaction with a toy as the center which is aimed to solve the drawback concerning that the conventional software and application programs related to the community interaction have to be installed in the smart electronic devices, such that one having the smart electronic devices is able to communicate with others interactively. The present invention creates a community group with a toy as the center, and the users classified in the group are therefore able to interactively communicate with each other.
- According to one objective of the present invention, a device of community interaction with a toy as the center is provided, which may include a first doll, a second doll, a first smartphone and a second smartphone. The first toy may include a microcontroller and an Iot wireless connector, a RFID sensor, a speaker, a recorder, a voice recognizer and an image recognizer may be connected with the microcontroller respectively. The second doll may include a microcontroller and an Iot wireless connector, a RFID sensor, a speaker and a recorder may be connected with the microcontroller respectively. The first smartphone may include a wireless network connector. An application program may be installed in the first smartphone for setting the first doll to connect with a wireless network access point (AP), and the connecting with a community server to create a user group. The second smartphone may be installed with the application program may connect with the community server, and may be added to the user group. The first doll may be connected with the community server via the wireless network AP, and may be added to the user group to receive a first voice message sent from the second handheld device. The first voice message may be played by the speaker of the first doll. A second voice message may be recorded by the recorder and transmitted to the second smartphone by using the voice recognizer or the image recognizer. The RFID sensor of the first doll and the RFID sensor of the second doll may sense mutually so as to be connected with each other when the first doll approaches the second doll. The second doll may be added to the user group when the first doll connects with the community server and completes the connecting identification by the second smartphone. The second doll may receive the first voice message and the first voice message may be played by the speaker of the second doll. A third voice message may be recorded by the recorder and transmitted to the first doll or the second smartphone.
- Preferably, the first doll and the second doll may connect with each other when the first doll approaches the second doll, and the first doll may be added to the user group of the second doll when the second doll connects with the community server.
- Preferably, the second doll may include a voice recognizer and an image recognizer connected with the microcontroller, and the second doll may decide a transmission object of the third voice message through the voice recognizer or the image recognizer.
- Preferably, at least one of the first smartphone and the second smartphone may include a text-to-speech converter configured to transform text messages of the first smartphone and the second smartphone into the first voice message.
- In accordance with another objective of the present invention, a method of community interaction with a toy as the center is provided, which may include the follow steps. A wireless network connector of a first toy may be set by a first handheld device to connect the first toy with a wireless network access point (AP); the first handheld device may be connected with a community server and a user group may be created by an application program downloaded by the first handheld device; the first toy may be connected with the community server and the first toy may be added to the user group by the wireless network AP; a second handheld device may be connected with the community server by the application program downloaded by the second handheld device such that the second handheld device is added to the user group; a first voice message of at least one of the first handheld device and the second handheld device may be transmitted to the first toy via the community server by the application program, and the first voice message may be played by a speaker of the first toy, and a second voice message may be recorded by a recorder of the first toy, and the second voice message may be transmitted to a specific or all the handheld devices of the user group by the community server.
- Preferably, a second toy may be set to connect with the community server and the second toy may be added to the user group, the first voice message sent from the user group may be received by the second toy, and a third voice message may be recorded and transmitted to the first toy or any handheld devices of the user group.
- Preferably, the first toy may further include a wireless communication sensor; the wireless communication sensor of the first toy and a wireless communication sensor of the second toy may sense mutually so as to be connected with each other when the first toy approaches the second toy, and the second toy may be added to the user group of the first toy, or the first toy may be added to the user group of the second toy when the first toy or the second toy connects with the community server.
- Preferably, the first toy may transmit the second voice message to the specific or all the handheld devices of the user group through a voice recognition method.
- Preferably, the first toy may transmit the second voice message to the specific or all the handheld devices through an image recognition method.
- Preferably, at least one of the first handheld device and the second handheld device may transform an input text message into the first voice message by a text-to-speech method.
- Preferably, the first toy or the second toy may include toys such as a puppet, a doll, a figure, a robot, and so on.
- In accordance with another objective of the present invention, a device of community interaction with a toy as the center is provided, which may include a first toy and a second toy. The first toy may have a microcontroller, and a wireless network connector, a wireless community sensor, a speaker and a recorder may be connected with the microcontroller respectively. The second toy may have a microcontroller, and a wireless network connector, a wireless community sensor, a speaker and a recorder may be connected with the microcontroller respectively. The wireless communication sensor of the first toy and the wireless communication sensor of the second toy may sense mutually so as to proceed a connecting process when the first toy approaches the second toy. When the first toy or the second toy connects with a community server by a wireless network access point through the wireless network connector, the second toy is added to a user group of the first toy, or the first toy is added to a user group of the second toy so as to complete a connecting identification. A voice message is recorded by the recorder of the first toy or the second toy and transmitted to the user group of the first toy or the second toy, and the voice message is played by the speaker of the first toy or the second toy.
- Preferably, the device of community interaction with a toy as the center may further include a first handheld device. The first handheld device may be connected with the community server by an application program installed in the first handheld device, and may be added to the user group. The first handheld device may complete the connecting identification for adding the first toy or the second toy to the user group when the first toy or the second toy connects with the community server.
- According to the aforementioned description, a method and a device of community interaction with a toy as the center disclosed in the present invention may have one or more advantages as follows.
- (1) A method and a device of community interaction with a toy as the center in accordance with the present invention may create a group to perform the community interaction with a toy as the center, such that the toy can thereby become one of the devices having the community interaction, and arouses the interest.
- (2) A method and a device of community interaction with a toy as the center in accordance with the present invention may be able to determine the transmission object of the message through a voice recognizer or an image recognizer without applying the input modules such as a touch interface, a keyboard, and so on. Hence, the convenience of the operation can be promoted greatly.
- (3) A method and a device of community interaction with a toy as the center in accordance with the present invention may use the various operation modules of the toy to activate and inactivate the toy rapidly so as to perform better power-saving though the microcontroller without downloading the completed and large operation system installed in the smartphone.

FIG. 5 is a block diagram of another method of community interaction with a toy as the center of the present invention. - Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings so that those skilled in the art to which the present invention pertains can realize the present invention. As those skilled in the art would realize, the described embodiments may be modified in various different ways, all without departing from the spirit or scope of the present invention.
- Please refer to
FIG. 1 which is a flow chart of a method of community interaction with a toy as the center of the present invention. As shown in the figure, the method includes the following steps. Step S1: a wireless network connector of a first toy is set by a first handheld device to connect the first toy with a wireless network access point (AP). Step S2: the first handheld device is connected with a community server and a user group is created by an application program downloaded by the first handheld device. Step S3: the first toy is connected with the community server and the first toy is added to the user group by the wireless network AP. Step S4: a second handheld device is connected with the community server by the application program downloaded by the second handheld device such that the second handheld device is added to the user group. Step S5: a first voice message of at least one of the first handheld device and the second handheld device is transmitted to the first toy via the community server by the application program, and the first voice message is played by a speaker of the first toy. Step S6: a second voice message is recorded by a recorder of the first toy, and the second voice message is transmitted to a specific or all the handheld devices of the user group by the community server. - According to the aforementioned steps shown in the flow chart, the first toy may include toys such as a stuffed doll, a cartoon figure, a robot, and so on, but the present invention shall not be limited thereto. The first handheld device may be a smartphone, a tablet, and a laptop, and so on, and the first handheld device may use the wireless network connectors arranged therein such as 3G, 4G, LTE, WiFi, and so on to connect with the internet to download and install the application program relative to the toy. The first toy is connected with the first handheld device through the short distance connecting methods such as the application program, WiFi, Bluetooth, and so on. Afterwards, the IoT (Internet of Things) wireless connector of the first toy is set to connect with the domestic wireless network AP by using the wireless network module such as WiFi, Bluetooth, and so on. After the setting of the first toy is completed, the user may connect the first handheld device with the community server provided by the manufacturer so as to create the exclusive user group in the server. Simultaneously, as the first toy is also connected with the community server through the wireless network AP, and then logs in according to the serial number of the toy provided by the manufacturer, the user may be able to name the first toy and the user group through the application program. Apart from the original first handheld device and the first toy, an invitation can be sent to a second handheld device, and the object of the invitation may be friends of the other community groups of the first handheld device or relatives of the related groups in the address book. Hence, the second handheld device may be one or more smartphones or tablets which can be added to the created user groups to form the groups of community interaction after being installed with the application program and then connected with the community server. Here, the first handheld device or the second handheld device may transmit the messages (e.g. voice messages) to the user group, and the connected first toy may read the messages and then play the messages through the speaker of the first toy. In addition, the first toy may respond to the messages by the recorder and then transmit the response message to the user module such that all the contacts in the group can listen to the contents of the response message.
- Please refer to
FIG. 2A which is a schematic diagram of a method of community interaction with a toy as the center of the present invention. As shown in the figure, father'scell phone 2 a may connect with the giventoy 1 of daughter, and thecell phone 2 a may connect with thetoy 1 by setting the wireless network of thetoy 1, such that thetoy 1 may be able to connect with the domesticwireless network AP 3. Afterwards, the father may use the WiFi of thecell phone 2 a to connect with domesticwireless network AP 3, or connect with the internet via the wireless network connector such as 3G and 4G. The downloaded application program may be used to create theuser group 4 a aimed to the family on thecommunity server 4 in the Cloud. The daughter'stoy 1 may also be connected with thecommunity server 4 through thewireless network AP 3, and then added to theuser group 4 a. The father'scell phone 2 a may inform and invite the mother'scell phone 2 b, the uncle'stablet 2 c, and so on to be added to the group. Thecell phone 2 b and thetablet 2 c may both download the application program and then connect with thecommunity server 4 so as to be added to theuser group 4 a. In addition, the uncle'stablet 2 c may set the son'stoy 2 d to connect with thecommunity server 4 and to be added to theuser group 4 a. After the preceding setting is completed, theuser group 4 a may include the daughter'stoy 1, the parent'scell phones tablet 2 c, and the son'stoy 2 d. Theuser group 4 a has no limitation of adding members. Other than the aforementioned members, the other handheld devices or toys may be added continuously. The parent may record to-be-completed things as a voice message by thecell phones user group 4 a, such that the son's and daughter'stoys toys toy 1 to record and then transmit a response message to theuser group 4 a, and the message can be transmitted to the mother'scell 2 b or all the contacts in the group selectively. The choice will be explained in the following paragraphs. - Please refer to
FIG. 2B which is a schematic diagram of another embodiment of a method of community interaction with a toy as the center of the present invention. As shown in the figure, when the daughter'stoy 1 is taken to outdoor or away from the region where the domestic wireless network AP is able to connect with, such as in a picnic, classmates or friend carrying with thetoy 2 e are met, the twotoys toy 1 may record the friend'stoy 2 e, and then add thetoy 2 e to theuser group 4 a by the connecting identification via thecommunity server 4 in the Cloud when backs home. Similarly, the friend'stoy 2 e may also record the daughter'stoy 1 when the friend'stoy 2 e and the daughter'stoy 1 connect with each other. The friend'stoy 2 e may also add the daughter'stoy 1 to their own group via the connection to the network when backs home. The wireless communication sensor in the present embodiment may be the wireless communication chip having 2.4 G frequency band, but the present invention shall be not limited thereto. The technique of short distance wireless communication such as NFC, RFID, Bluetooth, and so on may be served as the wireless communication sensor of the present invention. In addition, it may need the parent's approval when the daughter'stoy 1 is adding the friend'stoy 2 e to theuser group 4 a. In other words, the friend'stoy 2 e will be added to theuser group 4 a after the connecting identification is completed by the parent's handheld device of thegroup 4 a. The setting of a parental approval may verify the strange toy which is going to be added to the group so as to enhance the safety among the groups. - Please refer to
FIG. 3 which is a block diagram of a device of community interaction with a toy as the center of the present invention. As the figure shows that a device of community interaction with a toy as the center of the present invention includes afirst toy 10, a firsthandheld device 20, a secondhandheld device 30 a, asecond toy 30 b and acommunity server 40. The figure only demonstrates a secondhandheld device 30 a and asecond toy 30 b, but the present invention shall not be limited thereto. A device of community interaction with a toy as the center of the present invention may include one or more secondhandheld device 30 a andsecond toy 30 b. The first toy includes amicrocontroller 100 which includes awireless network connector 101, aspeaker 102 and arecorder 103 connected therewith. Wherein, a betterwireless network connector 101 may be an IoT wireless connector which may indicate the electrical digital tag or address thefirst toy 10, such that the first toy can make an interactive connection on the internet. Thespeaker 102 is mainly used to play voices, and the voice messages can be played through the horn. Therecorder 103 mainly includes a microphone used to receive sounds, and a storage device. Therecorder 103 may record and store the contents spoken to the toy, and transmit the spoken contents to the specific group through thewireless network connector 101. - As far as the first
handheld device 20 is concerned, a wireless network connector 200 and the installed application program 201 are mainly included. The firsthandheld device 20 may be the portable electronic devices such as a smartphone, a tablet, a laptop, and so on. The firsthandheld device 20 may set the connection of thefirst toy 10 through the wireless network connector 200 and the application program 201. Besides, the application program 201 may be used to connect with thecommunity server 40 in the Cloud in which the exclusive user group 400 is created. After the connection is set, thefirst toy 10 may be able to connect with thecommunity server 40 and log in the user group 400. One or more secondhandheld device 30 a and thesecond toy 30 b may be added to the user group by the firsthandheld device 20. The secondhandheld device 30 a may be the other relatives' smart electronic devices, and thesecond toy 30 b may be the device having the similar function to thetoy 10. After the connection is completed, thefirst toy 10, the firsthandheld device 20, the secondhandheld device 30 a, and thesecond toy 30 b may all be added to the user group 400 in which the voice messages are transmitted to perform the community interaction. In addition, both thefirst toy 10 and thesecond toy 30 b may further be disposed with the wireless communication sensor, enabling the two toys to connect and record with each other when they approach. Hence, thesecond toy 30 b may be added to the user group of thefirst toy 10, or thefirst toy 10 may be added to the user group of thesecond toy 30 b when thefirst toy 10 or thesecond toy 30 b connects with thecommunity server 40. - Please refer to
FIG. 4 which is a block diagram for showing the structure of a toy of the present invention. As shown in the figure, thetoy 11 includes themicrocontroller 110 and anIoT wireless connector 111 which are connected with each other. Apower supply 118 provides the necessary power. Compared with the conventional processor of the application program, themicrocontroller 110, which is aimed to the development of the IoT wireless connector, is power-saving and does not need the large and complicate Linux or Android operation system. Therefore, the instantaneity of the human-machine interaction can be matched in terms of the speed of turn on/off. In addition, theIoT wireless connector 111 may include anantenna 117, and may use the real-time communicating protocol of XMPP to connect thetoy 11 with the groups of the community server so as to perform the community interaction. - In addition, the
microcontroller 110 may further include aspeaker 112, and, avoice recognizer 113 and animage recognizer 114. Thespeaker 112 may include the horn used to play sounds, and may be served as the primary device for outputting messages. Thevoice recognizer 113 and theimage recognizer 114 may be served as the main input devices. Thevoice recognizer 113 may include the storage device having the microphone used to receive sounds and the storage device used to record. Wherein thevoice recognizer 113 may record the contents the user speaks to thetoy 11, and may transform the spoken contents into the voice message, and then transmit the voice message to the interactive group. Regarding thevoice recognizer 113, function of a voice recognition method may further be included. Before transmitting the voice message, the user only speaks the preset command to thetoy 11, and the voice message is transmitted to the transmission object of the group accordingly. For example, spoken contents are pre-recorded, and if the user speaks the command of “sending message” to the toy, the recorded spoken contents are transmitted to the interaction group, such that all the contacts in the group can receive the message. On the other hand, if the user speaks the commands of “calling” and “father” to the toy, the recorded contents are transmitted to the father's cell when the recorded contents are recognized by the voice recognizer.Such voice recognizer 113 provides the diverse interactive modes between thetoy 11 and the groups. - Moreover, the
toy 11 may further be disposed with theimage recognizer 114. Theimage recognizer 114 may mainly include an image capture device used to capture images and a storage device. The image capture device may capture different images of the user, and then transmit the images to the group for sharing. Therefore, other than transmitting the voice messages, thetoy 11 may be able to transmit the image messages so as to increase the interest of community interaction. Moreover, theimage recognizer 114 may also be arranged with the recognition function which is the same as thevoice recognizer 113. By means of speaking the preset commands and capturing the members' images of the groups before the message is transmitted, the voice or the image messages may be transmitted to the specific object when the voice or the image messages are recognized by the image recognizer. For example, capturing the mother's photo in advance and speaking the command of “calling”, the captured photo may only be transmitted to the mother's cell, not to all the contacts in the group. Finally, if the related sensors (not shown in the figures) are disposed in thetoy 1, it may be served as an input device, and recognize the commands made by the user according to the sensed movement so as to increase the function of the community interaction. - Please refer to
FIG. 5 which is a block diagram of another method of community interaction with a toy as the center of the present invention. The preceding embodiment is referred to the interaction group mainly applied between the toy used by the child and the family, but the present invention shall not be limited thereto. Other than the family and relatives, groups such as classmates, colleagues, friends, neighbors, and so on can be created individually. For example, the fans group can be created between the star and the fans. Currently, the communication between the star and the fans is usually posted on the Facebook, Twitter, Blog, and so on via the words; the present invention, however, is arranged with more special communication method for the fans group by providing the functions of transmission of voice messages and the community interaction. As shown in the figure, thestar 50 may create thepersonal fans group 51 in the Cloud, or anadministrator 52 may be committed to create and administrate thefans group 51. Afterwards, astar doll 53 is provided based on the star's 50 figure, and thestar doll 53 is arranged with the functions disclosed in the aforementioned embodiments. The fans may purchase thestar doll 53 so as to be added to thefans group 51. In thefans group 51, thestar 50 may use the personal doll or the handheld device to record messages or songs which may be transmitted to eachstar doll 53 through thefans group 51, such that each of the fans may be able to hear the star's 50 voice. In addition, each of the fans may also record and transmit questions or messages to thefans group 51. As the amount of the fans may be huge, thestar 50 may not able to record the messages to respond to each of the fans, and as a result, theadministrator 52 may transform the to-be-responded texts into the star's 50 voice to respond to each of the messages by a text-to-speech converter disposed in the handheld device. In addition, messages may be transmitted mutually among the fans by thestar doll 53. For example, events, meetings, and so on may be held through thefans group 51 such that the objective of community interaction in thefans group 51 can be achieved. - While the means of specific embodiments in present invention has been described by reference drawings, numerous modifications and variations could be made thereto by those skilled in the art without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention set forth in the claims. The modifications and variations should in a range limited by the specification of the present invention.
