Detailed Description
In order that the present invention may be more readily understood, the following detailed description is provided as an illustration of specific embodiments of the invention. Further, wherever possible, the same reference numbers will be used throughout the drawings and the description to refer to the same or like parts.
Fig. 1 is a functional block diagram of a keyboard device according to an embodiment of the invention. Referring to fig. 1, the keyboard apparatus 100 includes a processor 110, a display 120, an input unit 130, a first communication module 140, and a key unit 150. The processor 110 is coupled to the display 120, the input unit 130, the first communication module 140 and the key unit 150. In this embodiment, the keyboard apparatus 100 can receive input data through the input unit 130, and the processor 110 can drive the display 120 according to the input data to display corresponding input information. In the present embodiment, the input unit 130 may include a sensing element or a communication connection interface, for example. In this embodiment, the first communication module 140 can automatically search whether there is at least one other keyboard device in the communication range. If there is another keyboard device in the communication range, the first communication module 140 can automatically connect to another keyboard device to form a local area network architecture. Moreover, the first communication module 140 may receive another input data provided by the another keyboard device, and the processor 110 may drive the display 120 according to the another input data to display the corresponding another input information. In other words, the keyboard apparatus 100 of the present embodiment has a display function, and can automatically search another keyboard apparatus around to display another input information related to the another keyboard apparatus.
Several exemplary embodiments of the keyboard apparatus will be provided to assist the description, but the keyboard apparatus of the present invention is not limited to the following exemplary embodiments.
Taking the example that the input unit 130 includes a sensing element, the keyboard device 100 can be used as an environment monitoring device, and the sensing element can be a temperature sensor, a humidity sensor, a brightness sensor, an image sensor, a positioning sensor, or an electric quantity sensor, so that the input unit 130 can be used for sensing the ambient temperature, humidity, brightness, or image and other environment information, or the position information and the electric quantity information of the keyboard device 100 body. The keyboard device 100 can automatically sense the environment information, the position information or the power information, and provide the environment information, the position information or the power information to other keyboard devices in the area network, or receive other environment information, other position information or other power information sensed by other keyboard devices in the area network to obtain distance data between the keyboard devices and other keyboard devices. That is, besides the sensing result of the environment where the keyboard device 100 is located can be obtained by the user through the keyboard device 100, other sensing results of other keyboard devices in the adjacent environment can be displayed at the same time, or the device states of other keyboard devices can be displayed.
Taking the input unit 130 as an example, the keyboard apparatus 100 may be, for example, an Internet of Things (IoT) endpoint apparatus, and the communication interface may communicate with the corresponding IoT device in a wired or wireless manner, so that the input unit 130 may receive the IoT data of the external IoT device. For example, the communication connection interface may be connected to the corresponding internet of things device through a Cable (Cable), or the communication connection interface may be connected to the corresponding internet of things device through Bluetooth (Bluetooth) or Wi-Fi. The internet of things equipment can be a refrigerator, an air conditioner, various sensors as described above and the like. The keyboard device 100 may display corresponding internet of things information according to the internet of things data, and provide the internet of things information to other keyboard devices in the local area network, or receive other internet of things information sensed by other keyboard devices in the local area network. The internet of things information may include, for example, refrigerator operation information, air conditioner operation information, and the like. That is to say, the user can obtain the information of the internet of things device connected to the keyboard device 100 through the keyboard device 100, and can also display other information of the internet of things of other internet of things devices at the same time.
In this embodiment, the first communication module 140 can communicate with at least another keyboard device in a wired or wireless manner, wherein the first communication module 140 can be, for example, a bluetooth module or a cable module, but the invention is not limited thereto. Taking the first communication module 140 as a bluetooth module as an example, when the keyboard device 100 is turned on, the first communication module 140 can automatically search whether another keyboard device exists in the communication range of the bluetooth module. If another keyboard device exists in the communication range of the bluetooth module and the another keyboard device is in a connectable state (already opened), the first communication module 140 will automatically connect to the another keyboard device. Meanwhile, the first communication module 140 automatically receives another input data provided by the another keyboard device, so that the keyboard device 100 correspondingly displays the related input information of the another keyboard device according to the another input data. However, taking the first communication module 140 as a cable module as an example, when the keyboard apparatus 100 is turned on, the first communication module 140 can automatically search for another keyboard apparatus that is wired, and when the another keyboard apparatus is in a connectable state (turned on), the first communication module 140 will automatically connect to the another keyboard apparatus. Meanwhile, the first communication module 140 automatically receives another input data provided by the another keyboard device, so that the keyboard device 100 correspondingly displays the related input information of the another keyboard device according to the another input data.
In this embodiment, the key unit 150 may be a physical key, and may correspondingly output a control signal to the processor 110 according to an operation result of a user, so that the processor 110 may perform a related function operation according to the control signal provided by the key unit 150. For example, the user can select the screen content displayed on the display 120 through the key unit 150, or execute the operation of the related application software through the key unit 150. In the present embodiment, the Display 120 may be an electrophoretic Display (Electro mechanical Display), but the invention is not limited thereto. In one embodiment, the display 120 may also be integrated in the key unit 150, so that the key unit 150 can provide a display function in addition to the key function. In another embodiment, the key unit 150 may also be a non-physical key, such as a virtual key displayed by the display 120 or other devices.
FIG. 2 is a functional block diagram of a keyboard apparatus according to another embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 2, the keyboard apparatus 200 includes a processor 210, a display 220, an input unit 230, a first communication module 240, a key unit 250, and a second communication module 260. The processor 210 is coupled to the display 220, the input unit 230, the first communication module 240, the key unit 250 and the second communication module 260. Compared to the embodiment of fig. 1, the display 220 of the present embodiment can be integrated into the key unit 250. The key unit 250 may be, for example, a mechanical key, and a display 220 is provided on the pressing surface to provide a display function. In addition, in the present embodiment, the keyboard apparatus 200 further includes a second communication module 260. When the keyboard apparatus 200 is turned on, the second communication module 260 may automatically search for an external network Router (Router) and automatically connect to the network Router. That is, the keyboard apparatus 200 of the present embodiment may further have a function of connecting to a network.
In the present embodiment, when the keyboard apparatus 200 is turned on, the keyboard apparatus 200 is automatically connected to another keyboard apparatus through the first communication module 240 and is automatically connected to the network router through the second communication module 260. Under the condition that another keyboard device is also connected to the network router, when the keyboard device 200 is in a low power state or the second communication module 260 is in an inactive communication state with the network router, the keyboard device 200 switches to a connection mode to the network, so as to connect with another keyboard device through the first communication module 260 and connect with the network router through another keyboard device. In other words, when the keyboard apparatus 200 cannot effectively communicate with the network router through the second communication module 260, the keyboard apparatus 200 can use another keyboard apparatus as a router to perform the function of connecting to the network through another keyboard apparatus. Also, in one embodiment, the first communication module 260 may be a bluetooth module, and the second communication module 260 may be a Wi-Fi module. Therefore, the keyboard apparatus 200 of the present embodiment can further provide effective network connection capability.
In one embodiment, the keyboard apparatus 200 can be used as an ordering apparatus, for example, and the keyboard apparatus 200 can be on standby for a long time. When the user may wish to order a specific product at any time, the user may press the key unit 250 to cause the key unit 250 to output a control signal to the processor 210. Therefore, the processor 210 can be connected to the network router through the second communication module 260, and output a predetermined order signal or order data to the network ordering platform or the server through the network router, so as to automatically order a predetermined specific product. Moreover, the network ordering platform or server can correspondingly transmit the related ordering information or product information back to the keyboard device 200 for displaying through the display 220. Also, the input unit 230 may be a positioning sensor and is configured to provide positioning data to the processor 210, so that the order information output by the processor 210 may include the positioning location information of the user.
In addition, regarding other embodiments and technical details of the processor 210, the display 220, the input unit 230, the first communication module 240 and the key unit 250 of the present embodiment, reference may be made to the content of the embodiment of fig. 1 to obtain sufficient teaching, suggestion and implementation description, and thus, no further description is given.
FIG. 3 is a schematic diagram of an exemplary keyboard apparatus according to an embodiment of the invention. Referring to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a front view of the keyboard apparatus 300. The keyboard device 300 includes a device body 300B, and various functional units as described above in fig. 1 and fig. 2 can be further disposed in the device body 300B. For example, the user interface UI may include a plurality of displays 321, 322, a key unit 323, and a blank area 324. In this example, the display 321 provides a display function and a key function. The device body 300B may be disposed parallel to a plane (e.g., a wall surface) formed by the first direction P1 and the second direction P2, and the device body 300B displays the user interface UI toward the third direction P3. The display 321 may display input information of the keyboard apparatus 300, and a user may generate a control command by pressing the display 321. For example, the display 321 may display an order icon (icon), and when the user presses the display 321, the display 321 may output a command to the keyboard apparatus 300 to output a confirmation order signal to the network server (connected to the network via the router). Alternatively, in an embodiment, the display 321 may display the input data described in the above embodiments, such as environment information or internet of things device information, without being limited to the icon content shown in fig. 3.
In this example, the display 322 can provide a display function and a touch function, the display 322 can display status information of the keyboard apparatus 300, and the user can operate by touching the display 322. For example, the display 322 may display a Lock icon, and when the user touches the display 322, the display 322 may correspondingly output an instruction to cause the keyboard apparatus 300 to be correspondingly locked (Lock) or unlocked (Unlock), and the Lock icon of the display 322 may correspondingly present a light-on state or a light-off state. In this example, the key unit 323 may be a physical key. The key unit 323 may provide a pressing function, but does not include a display function. The user can directly operate the keyboard apparatus 300 by pressing the key unit 323. In this example, the blank region 324 may not be provided with the display 322 and the key unit 323, so as to reserve the internal space of the device body 300B, and serve as the hardware installation space for the various functional units shown in fig. 1 and 2.
It should be noted, however, that the keyboard apparatus 300 may be designed to provide a customized user interface UI, and is not limited to the one shown in FIG. 3. For example, in one embodiment, the keyboard apparatus 300 may include only the physical key unit 323 for being pressed by the user to generate a signal to the network server correspondingly. Therefore, in one embodiment, the keyboard apparatus 300 may have a lower setting cost and lower power consumption. For another example, in another embodiment, the keyboard apparatus 300 may include only the key unit 323 with display function or the display 322 with touch function, so that the user can conveniently operate the keyboard apparatus.
FIG. 4 is a block diagram of an input system according to an embodiment of the invention. Referring to FIG. 4, an input system 400 may include a plurality of keyboard apparatuses 400_1, 400_2, 400_3 to 400_ N. In the present embodiment, the keyboard apparatuses 400_1, 400_2, 400_3 to 400_ N may respectively include the various functional units shown in fig. 1 and fig. 2. In the present embodiment, the keyboard apparatuses 400_1, 400_2, 400_3 to 400_ N can be automatically connected to each other to form a local area network (local) architecture. The keyboard devices 400_1, 400_2, 400_ 3-400 _ N can receive input data respectively, and can search other keyboard devices in the local area network architecture to receive input data. In other words, the keyboard devices 400_1, 400_2, 400_3 to 400_ N can share data with each other.
Taking the keyboard device 400_1 as an example, when the keyboard device 400_1 is turned on, the keyboard device 400_1 automatically searches whether other keyboard devices exist in the communication range. When the keyboard apparatus 400_1 searches for the keyboard apparatus 400_2 and the keyboard apparatus 400_2 is also in the connectable state (has been turned on), the keyboard apparatus 400_1 is automatically connected to the keyboard apparatus 400_ 2. And, the keyboard apparatus 400_1 is automatically connected to the network router 401 to connect to the network. However, when the keyboard device 400_1 is in a low power state or in an inactive communication state with the network router 401, the keyboard device 400_1 may be connected to the keyboard device 400_2 instead. The keyboard device 400_2 is also connected to the network router 401 and is in active communication with the network router 401. That is, the keyboard apparatus 400_1 can use the keyboard apparatus 400_2 as a router to perform the function of connecting to the network through the keyboard apparatus 400_ 2. In other words, if one of the keyboard devices 400_1, 400_2, 400_3 to 400_ N is configured at a location with poor communication quality or with low power, the one of the keyboard devices 400_1, 400_2, 400_3 to 400_ N can still perform the function of connecting to the network through the other keyboard devices.
Taking the keyboard device 400_2 as an example, when the keyboard device 400_2 is turned on, the keyboard device 400_2 automatically searches whether other keyboard devices exist in the communication range. When the keyboard device 400_2 searches for the keyboard devices 400_1 and 400_3 and the keyboard devices 400_1 and 400_3 are also connectable (turned on), the keyboard device 400_2 is automatically connected to the keyboard device 400_1 and 400_ 3.
