Description
本發明係關於觸控面板之技術領域,尤指一種可提高觸控座標軌跡線性度的方法。
觸控面板的技術原理是當手指或其他介質接觸到螢幕時,依據不同感應方式,偵測電壓、電流、聲波或紅外線等,進而測出觸壓點的座標位置。例如電阻式觸控面板即為利用上、下電極間的電位差,用以計算施壓點位置檢測出觸控點所在。電容式觸控面板是利用排列之透明電極與人體之間的靜電結合所產生之電容變化,從所產生之電流或電壓來檢測其座標。
互感電容型(Mutual capacitance)觸碰偵測係為投射式電容觸控感測(Projected Capacitive)技術的一種。當觸碰發生時,互感電容型(Mutual capacitance)觸碰偵測會在鄰近兩層導體線間產生電容耦合現象。
而互感電容型(Mutual capacitance)觸控面板驅動的方法係感測互感應電容(mutual capacitance,Cm)的大小變化,用以判斷是否有物體靠近觸控面板。互感應電容(Cm)並非實體電容,其係第一方向的導體線與第二方向的導體線之間互感應電容(Cm)。圖1係習知互感應電容(Cm)感測之示意圖,如圖1所示,驅動器110係配置於第一方向(Y)上,感測器120係配置於第二方向(X)上,於第
一時間週期T1前半週期時,由驅動器110對第一方向的導體線130驅動,其使用電壓Vy_1對互感應電容(Cm)140充電,於第一時間週期T1後半週期時,所有感測器120感測所有第二方向的導體線150上的電壓(Vo_1,Vo_2,...,Vo_n),用以獲得n個資料,亦即經過m個驅動週期後,即可獲得m×n個資料。
互感應電容(Cm)感測方法的優點為:(1)浮接導體和接地導體的訊號不同方向,故可以很輕易的判斷是否為人體觸碰;以及(2)由於有每一個點的真實座標,多點同時觸碰時,可以分辨出每一個點的真實位置,互感應電容(Cm)感測方法較容易支援多點觸控的應用。
相反地,其缺點則為:(1)單一影像未處理資料(image raw data)資料量為nxm,其資料量頗大;(2)必須選定一個方向,逐一掃描,例如當第一方向(Y)上有20條導體線時,則需要做20次感測的動作,才能得到一個完整影像未處理資料(image raw data)。同時因為資料量大,在執行將感測訊號由類比訊號轉為數位訊號所需的時間則增加許多;以及(3)由於資料量大很多,資料處理的功率消耗也會隨之上升。
但互感電容型(Mutual capacitance)技術必須搭配特定電容觸控面板,藉由面板上X、Y二維空間的驅動與掃描偵測,取得電容觸控面板與電容相關的二維電壓變化
量,該等電壓變化量稱為未處理資料(Raw Data)。而這些未處理資料(Raw Data)可能包含了觸碰與環境雜訊等影響所造成的變動量。
這些未處理資料(Raw Data)需經過一些演算法與內差方法,用以計算觸碰座標,進而判斷使用者觸碰在觸控面板上的位置。於習知技術中,對於這些未處理資料(Raw Data)的處理方式,大多是設定一臨界值(Threshold)來判斷是否為有效觸碰資料。圖2係習知技術判斷觸控位置之示意圖。
如圖2所示,其係以未處理資料(Raw Data)是否大於臨界值,判斷觸摸區域,亦即當未處理資料(Raw Data)之值大於80的未處理資料,則判定該未處理資料為觸摸區域。
然而,此種習知技術卻會導致一個嚴重問題,即未處理資料(Raw Data)的線性、感值優良與否的受到電容觸控面板的電極圖案(Pattern)影響很大。圖3係習知技術所顯示非線性之示意圖,其係使用一般的電極圖案搭配臨界值判斷方法,由圖3可知,此種方式其線性度非常差。
此外,電容觸控面板的電極圖案(Pattern)設計對未處理資料(Raw Data)的數值影響甚大。圖4(A)至圖4(C)係電極圖案對未處理資料的數值影響之示意圖。斜線區域為使用者觸摸區域,當觸摸區域由右往左移動時,可以明顯看到當按壓在垂直方向的感測線(如圖中S1~S5)上時,能獲得較大感值,當沒完全按到時,則相對應的數值衰減甚多。因此每次手指跨過感測線時,未處理資料
(Raw Data)的數值變化最劇烈,故可知未處理資料(Raw Data)的數值受電極圖案(Pattern)相當大的影響。若再使用前述習知之臨界值(Threshold)判斷方式,來判斷是否為有效觸摸資料的方式來計算座標,便容易造成如同圖3所示類似階梯狀的觸摸座標非線性表現。
圖5則為該習知技術的實際量得的資料,其係使用手指或一機械手臂以斜線方式輕輕劃過一觸控面板時,所獲得之觸控點的軌跡之示意圖。其橫軸及縱軸分別表示該觸控面板的相對應位置。如圖5所示,習知技術會導致當觸摸位置經過感測線時造成階梯狀非線性的表現。
為解決前述問題,一種習知技術採用降低臨界值之方式,然而此種方法雖可增加線性度,但卻容易造成雜點。圖6(A)~圖6(D)係一習知降低臨界值之示意圖,圖6(A)係顯示一手指觸碰位置,圖6(B)係所取得的未處理資料(Raw Data)的數值,圖6(C)係表示當臨界值(Threshold)設定為80時,斜線處會被判定為觸碰位置,圖6(D)係表示當降低臨界值(Threshold),將其設定為30時,斜線處被判定為觸碰位置,同時也會增加雜點。
亦即,臨界值(Threshold)的設計相當困難,訂定太高,則會導致觸控不易判定,因而導致後續座標換算線性度不佳,以及當訂定太低時,雖保有線性表現,但卻容易遭受雜訊干擾影響,而讓原本應該只有特定位置觸摸的表現,進而出現許多非預期之內的座標點。
圖7係一觸控面板上X軸與Y軸交錯處某一像素連續觀察一段時間的未處理資料(Raw Data)之示意圖。圖7中
的橫軸係時間軸,縱軸係未處理資料(Raw Data)及經處理後的輸出資料(OutPut Data)。其係訂定臨界值(Threshold)以判斷是否為觸碰資料,若訂定臨界值(Threshold)較小(如實線所示),雖能保留較高線性的未處理資料(Raw Data),但容易受到雜訊影響(方框中狀況),因誤觸發而出現雜點。相反的,若設定虛線為臨界值(Threshold)較大(如虛線所示),則能確保資料不易受到雜訊干擾,但卻失去未處理資料(Raw Data)的線性度表現。於圖7中,單只以臨界值(Threshold)認定是否為被觸摸的資料,若臨界值(Threshold)定在虛線雖能擁有較高去除雜訊影響功能,但卻會明顯犧牲線性度。反之使用實線當臨界值(Threshold)則會提高線性度但卻降低抗雜訊能力。
然而,上述的處理方法還會因觸控面板的電極圖案(Pattern)的不同,而表現出不同的線性度。某些觸控面板的電極圖案(Pattern)經過特別設計,可增加線性度與感測值。但畢竟不是各家觸控系統商都能夠使用到這類特別設計的電極圖案(Pattern)。因此,習知觸控座標軌跡線性度的計算技術實仍有改善的空間。
本發明之目的主要係在提供一種可提高觸控座標軌跡線性度的計算方法,以增加觸碰未處理資料的線性度,並避免讓觸碰未處理資料受到雜訊干擾,可讓廠商使用一般的電極圖案,即有良好的觸碰效能。
依據本發明之一特色,本發明提出一種可提高觸控座
標軌跡線性度的方法,其係用於一電容式多點觸控系統,該電容式多點觸控系統包含有一電容式觸控面板及一控制裝置,該方法包含下列步驟:(A)該控制裝置讀取該電容式觸控面板的二維未處理資料(Raw Data);(B)讀取該二維未處理資料(Raw Data)的一像素及該像素的鄰近區域;(C)判斷該像素的像素值是否大於一預設值;(D)若判定該像素的像素值非大於該預設值,再判斷該像素的鄰近區域的像素值是否有一大於該預設值之像素值;(E)若判定該鄰近區域的像素值均非大於該預設值,將該像素的像素值設定為第一設定值(0);(F)判斷該二維未處理資料(Raw Data)的所有像素是否均執行過,若否,重行執行步驟(B);(G)於步驟(F)中,若判定該二維未處理資料(Raw Data)的所有像素均執行過,則對該二維未處理資料(Raw Data)進行特徵點擷取,並依據所擷取的特徵點,將該二維未處理資料(Raw Data)分割成至少一個觸碰區域,並將該少一個觸碰區域編列識別碼。
圖8係本發明一種可提高觸控座標軌跡線性度的方法之流程圖,該方法係用於一如圖9所示之電容式多點觸控系統,該電容式多點觸控系統包含有一電容式觸控面板21及一控制裝置22,其中,該電容式觸控面板具有於一第一方向(X)分佈的M條第一導體線31以及於一第二方向(Y)分佈的N條第二導體線32,該第一方向係垂直該第二方向,M、N為正整數,每一第一導體線31以及第二導體
線32之交叉處係對應觸控面板21的未處理資料(Raw Data)之一像素p(i,j)。
該方法於步驟(A)中,該控制裝置22讀取該電容式觸控面板21的二維未處理資料(Raw Data)。該控制裝置22會從該電容式觸控面板21上取得電容變化的數值,該電容變化係由X軸與Y軸交互形成的二維資料,圖10係本發明二維未處理資料(Raw Data)的示意圖,於圖10中,A與B為兩個觸摸位置。其中,該二維未處理資料(Raw Data)係由互感應電容感測技術所獲得,該二維未處理資料(Raw Data)具有M×N個像素,i的範圍為0~(M-1),j的範圍為0~(N-1)。
於步驟(B)中,讀取該二維未處理資料(Raw Data)的一像素及該像素的鄰近區域。圖11係本發明處理一像素p(i,j)的示意圖,其依序掃描像素p(i,j)鄰近點,觀察該像素p(i,j)周遭大小關係。如圖11所示,粗線框住的資料表示目前考慮的像素位置,斜線格資料則表示目前像素之鄰近點。舉例來說,如圖11所示先以鄰近8個像素分佈狀況做討論,視需求可擴展鄰近點範圍,亦即當該像素為p(i,j),該鄰近區域的像素為p(i-1,j-1)、p(i,j-1)、p(i+1,j-1)、p(i-1,j1)、p(i+1,j)、p(i-1,j+1)、p(i,j+1)、p(i+1,j+1),i,j係為索引值。
於步驟(C)中,判斷該像素p(i,j)的像素值是否大於一預設值。其係判斷像素p(i,j)的像素值是否大於設定的該預設值。如圖11所示,假定該預設值為80,可發現圖11中像素p(1,1)的像素值-1與像素p(7,3)的像素值82這兩個
像素資料的位置,資料值82是超過設定該預設值,後續步驟應執行步驟(I),以及資料值-1未超過該預設值,後續步驟應執行步驟(D),辨識該像素p(1,1)的像素值是否有存在必要性。
於步驟(D)中,若判定該像素的像素值非大於該預設值,再判斷該像素的鄰近區域的像素值是否至少有其中一個大於該預設值之像素值。於步驟(D)中,若是,執行步驟(I)。
圖12係本發明處理一像素p(i,j)的鄰近區域的示意圖。於步驟(D)中,判斷目前所評估的該像素p(i,j)的該鄰近區域是否有超過該預設值的鄰近像素,若有,則表示目前考量的該像素p(i,j)會影響座標線性的表現,因而有存在必要,則執行步驟(I),例如像素值為32的像素,其鄰近區域有兩個像素的像素值(150,91)超過80,因此,像素值為32的像素需保留。反之,若目前所評估的該像素p(i,j)中的該鄰近區域沒有任何超過設定該預設值的像素,則表示目前考量的該像素p(i,j)不會影響座標線性的表現,故沒有存在必要,則執行步驟(E),例如像素值為8的像素,其鄰近區域有沒有一個像素的像素值超過80,因此,像素值為8的像素無需保留。
於步驟(E)中,若步驟(D)為否,將該像素的像素值設定為第一設定值,例如該第一設定值可為0。
於步驟(F)中,判斷該二維未處理資料(Raw Data)中的所有像素是否均執行評估過,若否,重行執行步驟(B)。
步驟(G)是用來判斷是否已經完整掃描完整個二維未
處理資料(Raw Data),若完整掃描完畢,會得到如圖12的結果。圖13係本發明處理二維未處理資料(Raw Data)的示意圖,如圖13所示,有些標註反斜線的像素(例如)則在本發明執行過程中,保留其像素值,用以增加線性度,以及有些標註斜線的像素(例如),表示其像素值超過該預設值,而被保留。若步驟(F)判定尚未掃描完畢整個該二維未處理資料(Raw Data),則繼續下一個像素,繼續步驟(B)的流程工作。
於步驟(G)中,若步驟(F)判定該二維未處理資料(Raw Data)的所有像素均執行過,則對該二維未處理資料(Raw Data)進行特徵點擷取,並依據所擷取的特徵點,將該二維未處理資料(Raw Data)分割成至少一個觸碰區域,並將該少一個觸碰區域編列識別碼。圖14係本發明處理二維未處理資料(Raw Data)的特徵點擷取之示意圖,如圖14所示,其將該二維未處理資料(Raw Data)分割成三個觸碰區域,分別編列識別碼ID1、ID2、及ID3。
於步驟(H)中,依據識別碼,對應的該至少一個觸碰區域進行座標換算,進而輸出相對應的觸碰座標。如圖14所示,ID3區域係為ID1區域與ID2區域的共有區域,在進行座標換算時必須一併考慮進去。其可使用一階動量(first order momentum)方法以對該至少一個觸碰區域進行座標換算。以圖14中ID3區域為例,ID3區域中的像素其座標分別為(4,5)、(5,5)、(6,5)、(7,5),像素值分別為33、81、61、32,因此,其X座標為5(=[4×33+5×81+6×61+7
×32]/[33+81+61+32]=1127/207=5.44≒5),其Y座標為5(=[5×33+5×81+5×61+5×32]/[33+81+61+32]=1035/207=5)。其他區域的觸碰座標亦可使用一階動量方法求得,不再贅述。於其他實施例中,亦可使用其他方法計算觸碰座標。
於步驟(I)中,若判定該像素的像素值大於該預設值,則保留該像素的像素值,並執行步驟(F)。
圖15則為本發明技術的實際量得的資料的示意圖。比較圖15與圖5可知,本發明技術不會有習知技術中當觸摸位置經過感測線時,所造成階梯狀非線性的現象。亦即本發明技術可增加觸碰未處理資料(Raw Data)的線性度,又不會讓觸碰未處理資料(Raw Data)受到雜訊干擾。
習知電容式觸控系統中觸碰位置容易受到觸控面板結構與電極圖案(Pattern)影響。但電容式觸控面板的電極圖案卻是各家觸控面板廠的核心技術,並不能讓一般廠商自由採用。因此基於成本考量,許多的手持式觸控裝置,被迫使用性能不佳之電容式觸控面板結構與電極圖案。然而,這些電容式觸控面板結構與電極圖案往往在線性度表現上有瑕疵,因此藉由本發明的計算方法,能讓電容式觸控系統應用不同觸控面板時有效提高線性度表現。
同時,要改變系統廠商被迫使用性能不佳的電容式觸控面板結構與電極圖案的困境甚為困難,然而本發明之可提高觸控座標軌跡線性度的計算方法,可改變習知電容式觸控技術處理來自觸控面板的二維未處理資料(Raw
Data)的方法,可以不受雜訊影響且提高電容觸控系統座標線性表現,因而可降低使用不同電容觸控面板電極圖案(Pattern)的限制,對於開發電容觸控系統的廠商而言,其系統不受限制使用不同電極圖案,且皆能擁有不錯的線性度表現,對於整個產品競爭力與相容性能有效提高。
本發明技術從電容式觸控面板取得的第一手原始二維未處理資料(Raw Data)著手。習知技術中,則是直接設定一臨界值(Threshold)來決定是否為有效觸摸,若未超過臨界值則視為雜訊或為小變動,而不予考慮。然而,即便藉由降低臨界值設定,能有效改善未處理資料(Raw Data)在線性度方面的表現,但是卻容易在其他非觸摸區域被雜訊影響,而出現非預期中的觸摸點(雜點)之問題。本發明考慮鄰近關係的方式,除了有效改善未處理資料(Raw Data)被臨界值設定不當所導致未處理資料(Raw Data)表現非線性之表示,同時也能避免非觸摸位置的雜點影響。
由上述可知,本發明無論就目的、手段及功效,在在均顯示其迥異於習知技術之特徵,極具實用價值。惟應注意的是,上述諸多實施例僅係為了便於說明而舉例而已,本發明所主張之權利範圍自應以申請專利範圍所述為準,而非僅限於上述實施例。

(A)~(I)‧‧‧步驟
Claims (9)
- 一種可提高觸控座標軌跡線性度的方法,其係用於一電容式多點觸控系統,該電容式多點觸控系統包含有一電容式觸控面板及一控制裝置,該方法包含下列步驟:(A)該控制裝置讀取該電容式觸控面板的二維未處理資料;(B)該控制裝置從該二維未處理資料讀取一像素及該像素的鄰近區域;(C)判斷該像素的像素值是否大於一預設值;(D)若判定該像素的像素值非大於該預設值,再判斷該像素的鄰近區域的像素值是否存在大於該預設值之像素值;(E)若判定該鄰近區域的像素值均非大於該預設值,將該像素的像素值設定為一第一設定值;(F)判斷該二維未處理資料的所有像素是否均執行評估過,若否,重行執行步驟(B);(G)於步驟(F)中,若判定該二維未處理資料中的所有像素均執行評估過,則對該二維未處理資料進行特徵點擷取,並依據該特徵點,將該二維未處理資料分割成至少一個觸碰區域,進而編列相對應之識別碼。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之可提高觸控座標軌跡線性度的方法,其更包含步驟:(H)依據識別碼,對與該識別碼對應的該少一個觸碰區域進行座標換算,進而輸出相對應的觸碰座標。
- 如申請專利範圍第2項所述之可提高觸控座標軌跡線性度的方法,其更包含步驟:(I)於步驟(C)中,若判定該像素的像素值大於該預設值,則保留該像素的像素值,並執行步驟(F)。
- 如申請專利範圍第3項所述之可提高觸控座標軌跡線性度的方法,其中,於步驟(D)中,若判定存在該鄰近區域的像素值大於該預設值,執行步驟(I)。
- 如申請專利範圍第4項所述之可提高觸控座標軌跡線性度的方法,其中,該像素之像素值為p(i,j),該鄰近區域的像素值為p(i-1,j-1)、p(i,j-1)、p(i+1,j-1)、p(i-1,j1)、p(i+1,j)、p(i-1,j+1)、p(i,j+1)、p(i+1,j+1),i,j係為索引值。
- 如申請專利範圍第5項所述之可提高觸控座標軌跡線性度的方法,其中,該二維未處理資料係由互感應電容感測技術所獲得。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之可提高觸控座標軌跡線性度的方法,其中,該電容式觸控面板具有於一第一方向分佈的M條第一導體線以及於一第二方向分佈的N條第二導體線,其中,該第一方向係垂直該第二方向,M、N為正整數。
- 如申請專利範圍第7項所述之可提高觸控座標軌跡線性度的方法,其中,該二維未處理資料具有M×N個像素,一像素之像素值為p(i,j),i為0~(M-1),j為0~(N-1)。
- 如申請專利範圍第2項所述之可提高觸控座標軌跡線性度的方法,其中,步驟(H)係使用一階動量方法進 行座標換算,進而輸出相對應的觸碰座標。
