Abstract

The present invention provides a voice paging protocol and provides a method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving a selective call message that includes an indicator signal indicative of at least one receiver and a data signal destined for the receiver. The method first transmits the indicator signal (722) and delays for a predetermined time interval. Subsequently, the method transmits (706) at least a portion of the first indicator signal and a message signal for the receiver a first time. Thus ,the present invention provides indicator signal time diversity before transmission of the actual message. The method may use an alert signal (e.g., a single bit) (100) indicative of a receiver as well as an address (202, 204) corresponding to the receiver. The present invention supports several types of group messaging, which may be used in simultaneously which individual message transmission by setting and transmitting additional alert signals (412, 416), address signals (414, 418, 420), and message signals (408) (which may be interleaved and pseudo-randomly distributed in a voice data section of a frame, (for example). Alternative steps may be taken to transmit messages to receiver groups. For instance, for receiver groups without a common address, the method may set and transmit individual alert bits (108) corresponding to receivers in the group, set and transmit each address (228, 238) for each receiver in the group, then transmit the message signal destined for each receiver in the group.

In particular, the present invention relates to a communication protocol suitable for effectively performing 1 i-rich voice paging. 1 1 was still largely unknown a few years ago and today paging has become the fastest growing telecommunications industry. Several industry sources point out that the actual number of pagers in use exceeds 511.5 million and that in the two thousand years, 70 million pagers will be used to generate billions of dollars for service providers. Opportunities. 1 1 Normal paging can provide a mechanism whereby an entity sends a message to a 1 * line receiver (also called a pager) that is equipped with another \ * entity. The wireless 1 of the pager Essentially allows its carrier to move freely in a predefined service area while iB 1 r I remains accessible 0 Initially, the beeper can only generate a basic beep sound indicating that the carrier 1 must respond to a call (using a conventional phone ) To retrieve a voice mail message for a certain number or call 1 1 caller service provider. It but lately (because the consumer box to promote the ability of the J caller to expand to cover 1 I text messages 0 text message callers (commonly known as text Digital pager) can receive countless 1 1 I individual alphanumeric Constituting a finite length of the text message. For example, the number of pages 1 1 The pager can immediately provide important information to the carrier instead of requiring the carrier to call 1 1 This paper size is applicable to China National Standard (CNS) A4 size (210 × 7 mm) 4 185 75 A7 B7 Ministry of Economic Affairs Printed by the Central Bureau of Standards for Consumer Cooperation Du V. Description of the Invention (2) 1 1 then get the message 0 I 1 As the progress of the pager pager t The function of the pager is still limited to simple W Report 1 1 〇 But today the pager Can provide complete (one-way) communication capabilities including, for example, please first 1 1 receive quotes, stocks, and e-mails. Although the consumer needs to read the number of text pages to throw m 1 1 to increase rapidly, but more complex pagers are called υσ Audio pager may soon appear 1 Note 1 will replace the need for the number of pagers m 0 Note ί I A voice pager is much like an answering machine can receive mid-day voice messages and make audio I Playback 0 There are many effects of voice pagers, such as allowing its users to save and write this page! Various messages, reread messages and identify the caller's Lan Wu PP tone (and emotional characteristics) 〇 '— ^ 1 I but go in (partial Used for the near rise) Voice pager and its communication protocol 1 The functions provided by I are slightly restricted. 0 1 1 Orders such as I n F ο T e 1 e C 0 m provide the obiDARC communication protocol (of the DARC protocol 1 Extension) It can transmit digital voice messages. The obi DARC communication protocol only provides 1 1 for a relatively slow transmission rate. 6, 8Kbp S (> Although a non-interleaved code can be used to obtain a 1 1 · 7KbP S rate, the lack of interleaving results Message 1 caused by obvious decay effect: The quality of the voice and speech is greatly reduced. 0 The time required for Tianran to transmit any message increases with the decrease of the transmission rate. 1 1 Γ In addition, the address and message in the existing communication protocol-1 * Z Set to extremely close to each other without Repeat the pager 1 I that lost (typically) the short addressing part as well as the message — and lost it. The result is a waste of bandwidth used to transmit the message »None 1 1 The method of receiving important messages and the transmitter must be more frequent Resend the message 1 1 1 〇 In addition, users who pay for the service using paging armatures can not tolerate such unreliable 1 1 Reliable reception 0 1 1 Especially with the progress of voice paging S Missing messages is not only slightly inconvenient 1! This paper size Applicable to China Gujia Standard (CNS) A4 specification (210X297mm) -5 _ A7 B7 Printed by the Consumers' Cooperative of the Central Standards Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs 5. Description of the invention (3) 1 1 Only due to the multi-second length of the voice message is Thousands of bits f require retransmission of 1 1% of lost voice messages. The overall system support consumption is quite significant. In addition, the long repetition time of such long 1 1 information is quite long. This loss of information will cause 1 to 1 to become a significantly delayed reception (possibly urgent) until 0. Although voice paging has been read 1 back 1 has become a large market but the previous language supported by previous protocols & paging cannot be mentioned 1 Note 1 Provides more enhanced message receiving capabilities than plain text pagers. 0 Causes the user ’s desire. Ί Unsatisfied * Bandwidth wasted and some messages are not delivered. 0 Re | f Another-The most important 'consideration point is paging. The battery life of the battery is of course installed on this page. The battery life is longer from the market point of view and it also plays a key role in the pager V_ / 1 1 mechanical life and the pager information loss frequency supported by the battery 1 I plays an important role in the rate. Of course, all pagers need to excite their receiving circuits to receive i 1 subscription messages. 0 Paging The special technology used to determine the message to be received has a significant impact on the storage battery life and 1U. However, in the past, the voice paging communication protocol required the pager to remain lit for a long time to determine whether it would receive messages 0! DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The discussion herein proceeds in several steps. First, this case provides general background information that can be used to understand the protocol. Secondly, this article discusses some structural aspects of the returned communication protocol. After the structural aspect, certain working characteristics of the communication protocol in this case. Background This communication protocol was constructed from a number of individual sections. At the highest level, the protocol uses a repeating message box structure * Each message box roughly follows the same format as the previous message box. Each message box is composed of information packets. As an example, the message box includes 2922 packets. A packet is a collection of a predetermined number of symbols. For example, each packet includes 128 symbols. The symbols are formed using carrier frequency modulation. For example, the modulation can be a phase shift of 4 or 8 steps (QPSK and 8-PSK, respectively). The foregoing examples are not meant to be limiting and merely provide a special example of how a communication protocol is constituted. Description of invention (S) The predetermined sequence of phase change is used by the pager The clock is synchronized with the packet. For this project, the sending station and the receiving pager set up a reference mark 1 2 to be sent beforehand (thus to be synchronized with the reference mark during the receiving process). It is preferred to insert a reference mark every 128 symbols and not to synchronize the reference to the received call. In this way, the indicator mark in the pointer packet format 100 (and other formats described later) is not technically an integrated part of the pointer packet, and the dull only repeats every 1 2 8 symbols. Similar to the reference mark 102, the packet sequence number 104 is formed by a four-way modulation carrier symbol. However, the packet sequence number 104 is preferably QPSK modulation, and as a result, 8-bit information is displayed in the packet sequence number 104. Switching to QPSK modulation can assist in the synchronization process of the marker Chen Zhi (through the provision of 4 symbols * 8 S-PSI each with a closer interval) (symbols can tolerate a certain amount of noise). Packet sequence number 104 Indicate the address and type of associated packets. Details will be described later. Alarms, indicators, and general affairs management packets form a 202 packet (a specific example) short message segment in a message box. Each packet uses the packet sequence number. The bit sequence number is from 0. Go to 201. For example, the first 80 such as packet number 0-79 followed by 10 indexer packets 80-89 etc. Since the short message segment format is expected to remain fixed *, the receiver pager can use the packet sequence number to determine the type of packet currently being received and It is located inside the message box. Still refer to Figure 1 * System ID 106 is formed by six 8-PSK modulated carrier symbols. So system ID 106 carrier 1 & bit original data. System ID (eg For example, the bit broadcast bit 108, the CRC bit 110 and the flush bit 112 are discussed below.) K2 / 3 ratio convolutional coding is preferred. Thus, for every three bits of raw data output by the convolutional encoder, two bits are used. Description of the invention (9). Therefore, the system ID 106 includes the actual representative system ID 12 bits (hence the 4096 system ID). For example, when used for the basic structure of P Η transmission, this protocol can use the system ID to identify a specific F M station. In most cases * each station uses a different system ID > Each pager is assigned to a specific station. Therefore, the system ID can be considered as part of the pager address. However, it should be noted that a single system ID can be shared between several F M stations. Especially in areas with significant interference (such as large City), several FM stations may share the same system ID and transmit duplicate message box sets at different frequencies to provide at least one alternative FM station to the pager. As shown in Figure 1 | Alarm bit position 108 extends at 8-PSK modulation carrier 1 0 3 symbol. After 2/3 ratio coding, the alarm bit is 1 10 8 Provides 206 bits of information. The service provider supports at least one bit of the designated alarm bit for the pager (many bits will be provided in the overall message box structure, which will be described later). If you set a specific alarm Bit, the message will be placed in one of the voice data segments following this message box or the next message box, thereby providing an indicator signal to the receiver that a message is coming in. Usually the alarm bit does not use unique bits Or shared bits. Unique bits identify only a single pager. Shared bits can be assigned to more than a single pager, for example for roamers and system expansion. The use of alarm bit contents with two capabilities is described in detail. Secondly, the C R C 檷 bit U 0 is formed by δ 8-P S.K modulated carrier symbols. In this way, the CRC bit after 16-bit coding represents 16-bit CRC information. The CRC of the CRC bit 110 can be calculated, for example, in the system 1!) 106, the bit weight bit 108 and the CRC bit 110 itself. Finally, the flush level 112 is modulated by 3®8-PSK carrier. Invention Description (10) and 2 / 3 ratio coding symbols are formed. The flush bit 11 2 thus provides 6 bits which can be used to reset the gyro decoder to a known state ready for the next packet. Indicator Packet 琨 Referring to FIG. 2, this figure shows an example of an indicator packet format 2000, a short address indicator 202 and a long address indicator 204. The indicator packet format 200 includes a reference mark 206, a packet serial number 208, and a system ID 210. It further includes a roaming flag 2 1 2, a message indicator bit 2 1 4, a CRC bit 216 and a flush bit 218. The reference mark 206, the packet serial number 208, the system ID 210, the CRC bit 216, and the flush bit 218 have been formed and their functions are substantially as described above regarding the same bit of the packet format 100. In particular, the CRC bit 216 is better than the system ID 210, the roaming flag 212, the message indicator bit 214, and the CRC bit 216 to calculate the CRC. The roaming flag 212 is a single bit, and its indication is an indicator type that is lower than the message indicator weight 214. For example, when the roaming flag 212 is 0, the short address indicator 2 0 2 is set to the message indicator 2 2 4. When it is 1, the roaming flag 2 1 2 indicates that the long address indicator 2 0 4 is displayed in the message indicator counter 2 1 4. The message indicator bit 214 roughly contains an indicator that includes address information, which allows the pager to decide when to send information to the pager and where to find messages in the subsequent voice data segment of ij. In this way, the indicator provides an indicator signal for Fu Huyin to pass information. In a specific example, the * message indicator bit contains 205 true (in front of 2/3 ratio encoding) indicator information bits. In one specific example of this protocol, * stream ID 224 is three bits and determines one of eight unique streams. As detailed later, the message is assigned to one of the S streams to be transmitted. As for the initial steps of reception, the pager decodes the information stream 1 D 2 2 4 and retrieves its message from the appropriate information stream. The short address 2 2 S contains a single address assigned to a special pager (for example, an M basic address is assigned to the pager in its designated service area). For example * The short address 22S is 16 bits in length, so One of 65,536 pagers or groups can be identified. In most cases, the pager will respond to at least one unique address assigned to the pager. Optionally, the short address 228 contains a group address (thereby selecting a predetermined group) Pager). For example, the group address can be assigned to each pager in the pager set of the local sales team. So when the sales team needs to share information, they can send a credit message to the group address of the sales team. Then A single piece of information can update all pagers in the sales team. Another use of group addresses includes a reserved broadcast address for sending messages to all pagers. As another example, a program address is used to send digital program rules. The M resource section assembles the pager (for example, to update the protocol software itself). Preferably, when using the group address, it is placed at the end of any indicator of each pager that can be found in the message indicator right 21 4. Description of the Invention (.) 2) The function described in the address indicator 202. However, in the long address pointer 204, the long address 238 typically includes more than the short address 2 2 8 can provide additional information. For example, long address 2 3 S can use 12-bit system ID chain 16-bit base address to support roaming pagers. Therefore, the message sent to the roaming user typically involves setting up roaming The flag 2 1 2 provides additional addressing information (ie, long address 2 3 8) and selects the pager based on its basic system ID and basic address. So roaming users The same beep bit (or even the same "base" address) of a home pager in a particular system area can be distinguished by viewing the full long address 2 3 8 The general service management packet Now refer to Figure 3, which shows An example of two general affairs management packets 3 00. The example illustrates the first general affairs management packet 302 and the second general affairs management packet 304. In the example shown in plaque 3, the general affairs management information is distributed in two packets (256 symbols). The general transaction management packet structure 300 includes a pilot mark 306, 308, a CRC bit 310, and a flush bit 312. It further includes the packet serial number positions 3 1 4, 3 16 and the M ID position 3 18, 3 2 0. As mentioned above, there are pilots 306, 308 * each 128 symbols inserted into the transmitted information stream. System ID bits 318, 320 and flush bits 312 function as described above for indicator packets and alert packets. In other respects, the CRC bit 310 is calculated in all the bits of the two general transaction management packets 300, except for the second packet serial number bits 3 1 4 and 3 1 6. The index marks 306 and 308 are not used for transmitting information in the form of bit, and the CRC calculation of the general service management packet 300 is also excluded. Details will be described later in the specific example of this communication protocol. * 2 The general affairs management packet is placed at the end of the 202 packet of the message box. Such as. Description of the invention (1 winter ) Referring now to FIG. 4, the figure illustrates the aforementioned packet types that can be combined with voice data segments to form a message hub 400. In particular, Fig. 4 decomposes the message box 402 into the constituent blocks of the expanded message box 404. The expanded message box 404 includes a short information section 406 and a voice response section 408. In a specific example, the message box 402 includes 2922 packets. Among them, 202 packets constitute the short information section 406 and 2720 packets constitute the speech information section 408. The short information section 406 is a section of the general instruction message box, which includes alarm information, indicator information, and general affairs management information (as opposed to actual message data). The short message segment 410 is expanded to illustrate the preferred configuration of the short message segment 406, including the aforementioned alarm packet, indicator packet, and general transaction management packet. In particular, the extended short message segment 410 indicates an alarm N segment 412 followed by a pointer N segment 414, followed by an alarm H + 1 segment 416. In addition, the indicator N + 1 segment 418, the repeat indicator N segment 420 and the general service management segment 422 are followed by the alarm N + 1 segment 416. The duplicate indicator K segment 420 is so named because it typically provides a copy of the indicator N segment 414. The alarm N segment 412 is formed by an 80 罾 report packet}, which contains an alarm bit corresponding to a pager and a message attached to the voice resource segment 408. Invention Description (I 6) or borrows The pre-generated look-up table is used to read the pick-up packet position. The pager captures the specified stream of voice data segments distributed in each pick-up packet, and then reassembles, deinterleaves, and decodes the complete stream. A B-completed information stream is decoded, and the pager can extract its special message from the information stream. Referring back to FIG. 5, the figure shows a preferred specific example of the information flow header 500 used in this communication protocol. The information flow header 5 0 0 includes an information flow i D 5 0 2 and a message count 5 0 4. Stream ID (e.g. 8 bits) identifies the number of streams > message count 504 identifies the number of messages in the stream itself. Each message can end with a multi-bit flush bit and reset the convolutional decoder to a known state. For each message in the information stream, the information stream header 500 provides a message header including a long address 506 (28 bits), a time bit 508 (12 bits), and a data type bit 510 (8 bits). The section type is 512 (16 bits), the starting position is 514 (16 bits), the length is 516 U6 bits) and the fragment is 5 1 8 (8 bits). The C R C bit 5 2 0 (16 bits) is also provided for each message. The final CRC orange bit 522 (16 bits) covers all previous message headers and flush bits 5 2 4 (6 bits) are provided at the end of all message headers. As previously described in the indicator packet, the long address 506 identifies a characteristic pager or a group of characteristic pagers. However, it was further found that the receiver also needs to collect (deterministically) randomly distributed voice data segments The packet or segment of the information stream. The fragment bit 518 can be used to indicate the number of message boxes in which the pager's message will be expanded. For example, the S bit segment bit 51δ can be used to indicate that it is used to send a message. The number of message frame fibers and the other 4 bits indicate the current number of message frames (fragments) of the message. Invention Description (21) Header Terminator: 1 6 Meta-CRC, 6-bit flush feature The communication protocol structure established above can support a wide range of capabilities. Later discussions are conducted on basic paging, group paging, and roaming. Communication protocols are not limited to these capabilities but are not limited to any use environment. Before proceeding, note that the pager is assigned at least one address to identify the pager as the receiver of a specific message. The address is, for example, a "basic" address * a group address or a roamer address. In addition, when assigned to a service provider, the pager assigns a report bit. In the FM voice paging system, for example, each SC A band of each FM frequency may be assigned a system ID and carry the aforementioned communication protocol structure. Such systematic alarm bits thus link the pager to a specific SCA band of a specific F M frequency. As for the system channel table discussed earlier, pagers can be associated with the same alarm bit in multiple different SCA bands and FM frequencies to provide robust reception in noisy environments. Basic paging In basic paging, the primary structure of the system receives, digitizes, compresses, and stores voice messages to be delivered to the pager. For example, the speech data can be compressed by linear predictive coding (LPC) * residual excited linear prediction coding (RELP), vector and excited linear prediction coding (VSELP). Of course, data in digital form can be selectively compressed and stored for transmission. At predetermined intervals, the system transmitter retrieves the messages from the store and sends them to the appropriate pager. The better system transmitter stores countless messages and fills them in message boxes to reduce slack space (ie, no information mosaic space). The system's transmitter sets the appropriate alarm bit corresponding to the pager. The paper size of the pager applies to the Chinese National Standard (CNS) M specifications (210 × 297 mm) _ 04-I. Invention Description (22) The address is placed on the indicator, and the message is assigned to the information stream, Fill in the header field of the information stream as described above, and send the message with the appropriate encoding and interleaving as disclosed above for the information stream. The alarm bit (commonly known as the alarm part) and the address (commonly known as the address part) can be considered individually or in combination as indicator signals, which indicate that a message has been placed in a frame (that is, a message frame) for a specific paging. This communication protocol can be used to send universal paging, which will be detailed later. In other words, this protocol supports sending message signals to the complete set of pagers supported by the system (that is, each registered and active pager). However, in most cases, the system transmitter sends a message signal to a subset of pagers * which is less than the full set of pagers supported by the system. The subset of pagers can be a single pager | or can include several individual pagers and pager groups. Referring to FIG. 4, the discussion in this article is based on the message that will be passed to the pager of the next message box 424. A better system sender sends a pre-example to the pager. It sets the pager to specify the report bit in the report card + 1 to the bit 4 1 6 and adds the pager address and message information to the pointer N. + 1 position 4 1 8 In this way, if the pager recognizes its alarm bit or address in the message box 402, there is no need to waste power searching for the alarm bit or address in the next message box 422. On the other hand, if the pager cannot determine whether its alarm bit or address exists in the message box 40 2 (for example, due to the failure of receiving the data, the pager can make a decision in the next message box 404 (by viewing the report such as Bit and two indicator N fields). In a specific example of the present invention, an invalid address is defined and used for the indicator bit indication to indicate that no pager address is connected after it. In this way, a page with an invalid address is decoded.槠 It can save power, and its receiving circuit can reserve the rest of the indicator block for inspection. Invention Description GS) If the specified system requires more than 1 2 Ο Ο 0 The alarm bit can be shared by multiple pagers. In other words, two or more pagers can use the same alarm bit. The special pager can then determine whether a message will be sent here by looking at the address niches of the short address pointer 202 and the long address pointer 206 (for example). In this way, even if the alarm is shared, each pager can distinguish the alarm destination by address. Also note that the module function can map two rovers to the same alarm bit. Two roamers can use their addresses that need to be responded to by the program rules, and the class K method can distinguish the intended recipients *, which can be compared with the address information of the long address pointer 206. So even if the two pagers share the same alternate bit and address, the pager permits itself to only receive messages sent by its home transmitter or the pager knows that it has been sent by a registered roaming system transmitter. message. Sending and Receiving Flows Referring to FIG. 6, this figure illustrates a receiver decision tree 600 * whose decision to receive a better set of searches and actions performed by a receiver that formats communications according to this protocol. The discussion of FIG. 6 is supported by the message box format shown in FIG. 4. It is assumed that a message will be sent to the pager in message box N + 1 424. The “early example” in FIG. 6 corresponds to the sauce report N + 1 segment 4 1 6 and the “early indicator” in FIG. 6 corresponds to the indicator N + 1 segment 4 1 S (especially the first 10 (unreserved) packets) . Similarly, the “current alarm” in FIG. 6 corresponds to the alarm N segment of the message box N + 1 4 2 4 (that is, the current message box including the real message), and the “current indicator 1 is opposite to the message box MU 4 2 4 The indicator segment N and the "last chance indicator" correspond to the copy indicator segment H of the message frame N + 1 424. The "information flow" indicates the voice data segment 408 of the message frame N + 1 424. Invention Description (29) With particular reference to Figure 6, there are three possible outcomes for each "treatment" decision • "True" 'Results (causing excessive transition along the left branch), "false" results (causing transition along the central branch), and "uncertain" results (causing transition along the right branch). At the "jump" point, the processing succession follows the associated single arrow to the next processing or jump point. The first thing to note is that the receiver typically performs a CSC check on its received data. When the CRC check indicates an error that cannot be corrected, the pager usually advances below the uncertain (undefined) branch shown in FIG. Otherwise the pager can accurately determine whether certain conditions are matched (true result) or not matched (false result). The pager can start to determine whether the pager's e.g. bit is set at an earlier stage at the processing point 602. If the pager decides that its medical report bit is set, the processing is advanced below the true branch 604 (labeled "e.g." in Figure 6). If the pager determines that its alarm bit is not set, the processing is performed in the pseudo branch Below 606 (labeled as "no alarm"), and in the case of indeterminate cases, processing is performed under the branch 6 60 S (labeled as "undetermined". First from the branch 606 * the pager determines it in the message box H + 1 424 did not receive the message. Therefore, as shown in Figure 6, the pager skipped viewing the early indicators, the current alarm, the current indicator, and the last chance indicator. So the pager did not execute the message box N + 1 424 The processing of the voice data segment ("Skip", but please note that each message box includes early alarms and indicators of subsequent message boxes. The repeat indicator 610 illustrates the next early report and The time point at which the indicator set appeared. So after each current indicator decision point in Figure 6 | the new branch structure begins to view the early indicator. Following the true branch 604, the indicator determines the early indicator at processing point 61 2 This paper size applies Chinese National Standard (CNS) A4 specification (2! 〇X297mm) _〇9 _ ------- 1-- • --installation ------ ΐτ ----- -^ (Please read the notes on the back before filling out this page) Printed by the Consumer Cooperatives of the Central Procurement Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs A '8 5 7 5 A7 B7 V. Description of the invention (30) Is there a match (eg short address Or the long address corresponds to the indicator itself or the pager group). If there is a match, the pager is made through the true branch 614 (labeled "indicator" * skip view) (that is, the indicator does not need to waste power on receiving ) Current alarm, current indicator, and last chance indicator, proceed to process the information flow of its voice data segment 408 in message box N + 1 424. Similarly, if the indicator recognizes that the correct address does not exist in the early indicator, Then the indicator can assume that its alarm is shared (for example) and the destination of the message is another indicator. So under the pseudo branch 616 (labeled "no indicator") * no information flow processing (of course, the indicator of the message address) Except for the device). With reference to the uncertain branch 618, it was originally found that this protocol provides Diversify indicator signals and provide the indicator with multiple opportunities to determine subsequent messages. In this way, the indicator skips the current alarm (such as the decision point 602 decides * the indicator has successfully restored its alarm information, but the indicator enables its receiver Restore and view in the message box Η +]. The current indicator segment of 4 2 4 *, as mentioned above, when the true or false indicator matches, the processing point 620 advances, and only the remaining last chance indicator is skipped. But if the pager It is determined that the error that cannot be corrected exists in the current indicator decoding. Then the indicator advances through the uncertain branch 622. This protocol provides another opportunity, in the message box N + 1 424 * provides another opportunity for the pager to find its copy. Indicator information of the indicator segment (discussed above with reference to the copy indicator N segment 4 2 0). If the pager successfully finds its indicator, it can process the information stream, otherwise the pager does not process the information stream. Of course, the message box may include a variety of other replication indicator signals (a compromise between diversified capabilities and available message bandwidth) ) ≫ Each of them can be viewed by the pager. Invention Description (31) As for the uncertain branch 6 0 8 Chela. Although Figure 6 shows a second view of the current alert, it was found that the pager could first look at the earlier indicator trying to match its address. Following decision point 624, if the pager determines that its alarm is not set *, it passes the current indicator and the last chance indicator without performing information flow processing. On the other hand, if the pager matches its example, it advances under the true branch 626. Under the true branch 626, the pager evaluates the evaluation point 62S in the same way as the decision point 620 before. The remaining alternatives are illustrated in the uncertain branch 630. Under the uncertain branch 630, the pager may skip the current indicator segment, for example, and proceed to the last chance indicator viewed at the processing point 630. Although Figure 6 shows the last chance indicator to be viewed next, it should be noted that as an alternative, the pager can look at the current indicator trying to match its address. However, assuming that the pager system M ’s last chance indicator goes forward, the pager reaches the decision point 6 3 2. At decision point 632, if the pager successfully matches one of the indicators to the last chance indicator, the pager proceeds to process the appropriate information stream (as indicated by the indicator). Otherwise, the pager does not perform information flow processing, which may be because the last chance indicator did not find a match, or the reason is that the last chance indicator cannot be decoded. Reference is now made to FIG. 7, which illustrates a high-level flowchart 700, which sends information in the first message box 702 and the second message box 704 according to the aforementioned communication protocol. The flowchart 700 includes a current pointer step 706, a pre-pointer step 70S, and a copy pointer step 710. It also includes general affairs management steps 7 1 2 and message preparation steps 7 1 4. The information-laden information flow is communicated at step 7 1 6 and sent at step 718. Invention Description (32) Each step 7 0 6 -718 appears in the first message box (for example, message box N 402). Corresponding sets of steps 720-732 appear in subsequent message boxes (for example, message box N + 1 424). Beginning with the current indicator step 706, the system transmitter prepares and sends an indicator signal, usually including a medical report (such as alarm N 412), an indicator (such as indicator N 41 4), or both in the current message box (such as a message box N 402). As seen in the group message, additional reports and indicators can be set as needed to send messages to the group receiver. This allows, for example, setting additional alarm bits or indicators for each receiver of a particular receiver group. In the pre-indicator step 7 08, an indicator signal including information about the next message box is prepared and transmitted, including a bulletin (eg, alarm N + 1 416) or an indicator (eg, indicator N + 1 418). The pre-indicator includes additional data packets to provide the address and asset combination information, and is separate from the voice information in the voice data segment 408. In step 710, a copy indicator (e.g., copy indicator N section 420) is prepared and sent, followed by general transaction management (e.g., general transaction management section 422) in step 712. For step 714, one or more messages (such as a voice message or a digital asset) are placed in the blame stream. As described above, a pseudo-random cross fiber is determined for each information flow (step 716), and the information flow is transmitted (step 718). During the subsequent message box transmission (steps 720-732), the foregoing steps are roughly repeated. Note, however, that the current indicator step 720 provides repeated indicator signals (including alarms and indicators) to a portion of the pre-pointer signals (including alarms and indicators) prepared in step 708. Such intervening signals (e.g., sent in steps 70 8-7 1 8) provide a predetermined delay interval delay and give time diversity to the communication protocol. The referral signal and the predetermined delay interval also occur to indicate that the paper size is applicable to the Chinese National Standard (CNS) A4 specification (210 × 297 mm) _ 〇r _ f binding travel (please read the precautions on the back before filling this page) Economy Printed by the Central Bureau of Standards, Shellfish Consumer Cooperative, 4 1 δ 5 ί b Α7 Β7 V. Description of the invention (Ί: .ί) between steps 706 and 720 of the indicator and steps 710 and 724 of the copy indicator. The pre-indicator signal step 7 2 2 provides early warning and indicator to the information content of the next message box (for example, message box N + 2). Just like the first message, copy indicator, general transaction management and message are also sent in steps 7 2 4-7 3 2. Turning to FIG. 8, this figure shows a high-level flowchart 800 from the communication protocol discussed earlier in detail with reference to FIG. 6. The flowchart 800 includes a selection step 802, an indicator receiving step 804, and a condition step 806. The enabling receiving step 808 and the disabling receiving step 810 are also described. Step 812 is also displayed below the receiving step 810. De-interleaved information flow step 814 and step 8 1 6 are performed. In step 802, a selection criterion is established for the receiver. For example, the selection criteria may be that there are special receiver bits or addresses (indicators) for receivers in individual or group I receivers. In the receiving step 804 *, the receiver receives an indicator signal or a repeating indicator signal (such as an alarm packet or an indicator packet), thereby establishing a matching, mismatching, or undefined condition based on the selection criteria (step 8 0 6). If the receiver fails to receive the indicator signal correctly (for example, C R C indicates an error that cannot be corrected), an uncertain condition is established and processing continues to step 808. At the enable receiving step 808, the receiver is enabled to receive the repeat indicator signal (if so, if the reception of the medical report N + 1 segment 416 is not determined, the receiver may enable the subsequent general report of the N segment in the next message box Similarly, if the reception of the indicator 段 + 1 segment 4 1 8 is not determined, the receiver can enable the reception of the indicator N segment 414 or the repeated indicator N segment 420 of the next message box.
