Description

剩餘的第二軟按 刀⑺分配給字母“a”、“e”、“i”、“n”、“〇,,和“u,,。 Description of the Invention: C. The invention is generally directed to a method and apparatus for inputting Chinese characters by using a soft keyboard. More specifically, embodiments of the present invention relate to a method and apparatus for providing a user interface for inputting Chinese characters and for providing a computer program product for inputting Chinese characters. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Various soft keyboards today, including but not limited to QWERTY soft keyboards, mini-qwerty keyboards, and ITU-T keyboards have been widely used as human-machine interfaces for many electronic devices including, for example, personal computers (PCs), personal digital assistants ( PDA), mobile phones, electronic dictionaries and e-readers. In order to input Chinese characters, many soft keyboards are pre-installed with pinyin input. However, in some aspects, such a soft keyboard is still inconvenient for inputting Chinese characters. For example, the key layout of the 'QWERTY soft keyboard' is still not optimal or customized for pinyin input. For a better understanding of this problem, reference is made to Figure 1. Figure i shows a user interface® that can be used in conjunction with a QWERTY softkey thief for spelling input. As shown in FIG. 1, when the user inputs the English letters "η" and "' as a pinyin letter, the Chinese Chinese character 1〇1, such as "You Nie Nie", is displayed for the user to select 'and - The Chinese character "you, has been presented in the input visual solid. At the same time, according to the pinyin coding system, the legal letters "e,," "u,,, 'V, 4: " and η' can be followed by the letter "i" It is predicted and highlighted from the soft keyboard for the user's further selection. The QWERTY soft keyboard is based on Pinyin 201237680. The encoding rules are that the remaining keys of the illegal letters are rendered dark gray and cannot be selected by the user. While such a user interface for a soft keyboard provides a good way to quickly input Chinese characters, the user still has to move his or her finger or stylus across the entire soft keyboard from time to time to select the appropriate soft button. In addition, capacitive touch screens have been widely used in mobile phones. However, due to the size of the soft keyboard, the user is likely to touch an undesired button. Accordingly, this will reduce efficiency and result in a poor user experience. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Accordingly, there is a need in the prior art to provide an improved user interface to a soft keyboard so that a user of the soft keyboard can effectively input Chinese characters in the Pinyin input mode without significantly moving the fingers across the entire soft keyboard. . In one embodiment of the invention, a method is provided. The method includes inputting a first pinyin letter of a Chinese character to the device by a sensing operation on the first soft button displayed on the soft keyboard. The method further includes displaying a plurality of second soft keys independently of the soft keyboard, the second soft keys being used to input "a", "e", "g", "h" as the second pinyin letters of the Chinese character, At least one of "i", "η", "〇", "u", "v", and "r". In one embodiment, the plurality of second soft keys substantially surround the first soft key. In another embodiment, the plurality of second soft keys includes eight soft keys, one of which will be used to input "g" or "h", and the other soft key will be used to input "v" Or "r". In a further embodiment, the soft keys for the second pinyin letter or the additional pinyin letters of the 201237680 Chinese character are displayed in an inconspicuous manner. In an additional embodiment, the soft keyboard initially includes twenty-three soft keys that will be used to input the first pinyin letter. In one embodiment, twenty-three soft keys are arranged in three rows, including for 4", "," "~", "1"", "1", "y", "p", and "〇" Upstream of eight softkeys, for the middle row of the eight softkeys "a", "s", "d", "f," "g", "h", "j", and "Γ", and for "z Down of the seven soft keys of "," "x", "c", "b", "n", "m", and "k". In another embodiment, the method further comprises: inputting, by the sensing operation on one of the plurality of second soft keys, a second pinyin letter for the Chinese character to the device; and for any two of the Chinese characters subsequently a continuous pinyin alphabet, inputting a first letter of two subsequent consecutive pinyin letters to the device by a sensing operation on a corresponding soft button displayed on the soft keyboard; and displaying a plurality of second soft buttons independently of the soft keyboard The second soft button will be used to input "a", "e", "g", "h", "i", "n", "'" as the second letter of the two subsequent consecutive pinyin letters. At least one of ",", "u", 'V', and "r". In another embodiment, the method further includes inputting a second or more pinyin letters of the Chinese character to the device by a sensing operation on one or more of the plurality of second soft keys. In one embodiment, for any soft key that has been used to input a second pinyin letter or another pinyin letter of a Chinese character to the device, a plurality of predicted soft keys are displayed substantially around the soft keys that have been used for the device. Enter the additional pinyin letters for the Chinese character. \> In one embodiment, the operation includes a user's click, touch, slide, or press. In another embodiment, the first soft button is separate from and away from the plurality of second soft buttons. In other embodiments, a plurality of second soft keys are displayed on the soft keyboard, but on the other half of the soft keyboard different from the first soft keys, some of the original soft keys are replaced. In an additional embodiment, the layout of the plurality of second soft keys is one of a pie shape, a rectangular shape, a square shape, an elliptical shape, or the like. In another embodiment of the invention, an apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes means for inputting a first phonetic alphabet of a Chinese character to the device by an inductive operation on a first soft button displayed on the soft keyboard. The apparatus also includes means for displaying a plurality of second soft keys independently of the soft keyboard, the second soft keys being used to input "a", "e", "g" as the second pinyin letters of the Chinese character At least one of "h", "i", "η", ''〇,,, 'V,' 'V' and "r". In a further embodiment of the invention, an apparatus is provided. The device includes at least one processor and at least one memory including computer program code. The memory and computer program code are configured to cause the at least one processor to input the first pinyin letter of the Chinese character to the device by a sensing operation on the first soft button displayed on the soft keyboard. The memory and computer program code are also configured such that at least one processor displays a plurality of second soft keys independently of the soft keyboard, the second soft keys being used to input "a", "the second pinyin letter of the Chinese character" At least one of e", "g", "h", "i", "η", "〇", "u", "v", and "r". In a further embodiment of the present invention, A computer program product comprising at least one computer readable storage medium having a computer readable code portion 201237680 stored thereon. The computer readable code portion includes a portion for displaying on a soft keyboard The sensing operation on the soft button, the code command of the first pinyin letter of the Chinese character is input to the device. The computer readable code portion includes a code command for displaying the plurality of second soft buttons independently of the soft (four). The second soft button will be used to input "a", "e", "g", "h,," "i", "n", "〇,,," as the second pinyin of the Chinese character. u" At least one of "v" and "r". According to some embodiments of the present invention, since a reduced number of second soft keys are displayed for inputting a second pinyin letter for a Chinese character, the user can easily select a soft key to input a Chinese character. Further, since the first soft key is basically The second soft button is only surrounded by the second soft button, and the second soft button is legal for the second pinyin letter or the other pinyin letter of the Chinese character. The user only needs to move the finger or the stylus to input the Chinese character across a short distance. In addition, 'when the user is accustomed to or familiar with the arrangement of multiple second soft keys', the speed at which they input Chinese characters can be significantly improved. This is useful or convenient in some applications, such as chat on portable devices, short Other features and advantages of the embodiments of the present invention will be understood from the following description of the preferred embodiments. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS In the following, a more detailed explanation will be given by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings, Advantages, in which: Figure 1 illustrates a user interface for use with Pinyin input 201237680 in conjunction with a QWERTY soft keyboard; Figure 2 is a simplified flow diagram of a method for providing a user interface to a soft keyboard in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention; 3-6 are schematic diagrams illustrating multiple user interfaces for inputting pinyin letters, in accordance with some embodiments of the present invention; FIG. 7 is a diagram illustrating a user interface suitable for use in conjunction with FIGS. 3-6. A schematic diagram of a soft keyboard arrangement used; and FIG. 8 is a schematic diagram of a device configured or implemented with the method or user interface as shown in Figures 2-7 in accordance with another embodiment of the present invention. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below. In one embodiment of the present invention, an inductive operation on a first soft key displayed on a soft keyboard on a touch screen (for example, by a user's touch, pressing Or slide) to enter the first pinyin letter into the device. Next, independent of the soft keyboard, a plurality of second soft keys that will be used to input the second pinyin letter are displayed. In one embodiment, a plurality of second soft keys are displayed such that they substantially surround the first soft keys. For example, a plurality of second soft keys may be formed into a pie shape, a rectangle, a square, an ellipse or the like, and popped up after sensing the operation on the first soft button. Here, the operations include clicks, slides, touches, presses, or other actions performed by the user. In another embodiment, the first soft button and the plurality of second soft buttons are displayed separately. In a further embodiment, the plurality of second soft keys are displayed in the same soft keyboard as the first soft key, but in another part of the soft keyboard (eg, half), for some original on the 201237680 generation soft keyboard Soft keys. Figure 1 illustrates the user in conjunction with the QWERTY softkey used for Pinyin input; I face and has been described previously. ° A flow chart for providing a method for the user" face to a soft keyboard in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. The method period starts with step $fan and proceeds to step coffee. In step 2ϋ1, the method inputs the first θ letter of the Chinese character to the device by the sensing operation displayed on the soft keyboard ^-soft button. Next, the method 200 proceeds to step S202. In step S202, the method 200 displays a plurality of third soft keys independently of the soft keyboard, and the second soft keys are used to input 'V,, 'e', 'g', h as the second pinyin letters of the Chinese character. , at least one of η» ' 'V', "u", "v", and "r". Finally, method 200 ends at step S203. In 00, why is the reason why only a plurality of second soft keys are used to input "a,,, and are based on the discovery of the inventor's Chinese Pinyin coding rules, as discussed below. According to the Chinese Pinyin coding rules, only twenty-three English The letters (except m"' and "v"mx are used as the first-pinyin letters, however, only ten of the "hong" are the above-mentioned ten English letters,, "n", "〇", "u", " v" and "one by &". Based on the inventor's involvement, "V" and "r" can be used as the second phonetic alphabet or additional pinyin letters for Chinese characters. In other words, only ten English letters for the round The second pinyin letter or the additional pinyin letter is legal. For example, in 'Chinese character', the pinyin letter is "zhong". The first pinyin letter is the English letter "z" and the remaining pinyin letter t1_ ____95 fL· As: IrC \ θ 1 .. , ''e,,, 'α', 'h', 'i' 201237680 An important finding of the Pinyin encoding rules, the method 200 only needs to display multiple second soft keys for input as a second Pinyin letters or additional pinyin letters above ten At least one of the English letters. How to display a plurality of second soft keys through the user interface is shown in Figure 3-6. Hereinafter, some embodiments of the present invention will be discussed with reference to each of Figures 3-6. Figures 3-6 are diagrams A schematic diagram of a plurality of user interfaces for inputting Chinese characters according to some embodiments of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 3, the user interface for inputting Chinese characters is independent of the soft keyboard/become into the pie shape 301. The central location of 3〇1 is located in the first soft press, which has been clicked by the user as the first pinyin letter. Around the first button P” are eight second soft buttons, one of which is used to input “g” "or ''h,," and one of them is used to input "V" or "r". The remaining second soft knife (7) is assigned to the letters "a", "e", "i", "n" , "〇,, and "u,,. Let the letter "L" h share a soft button 3〇2 because, according to the Chinese Pinyin encoding rule, only the letter "η" is followed and the letter "h" only follows the letter "c", "s" and "Z,, 0 ie they do not follow the same letter and can therefore Distinguish from each other. Also, let the letters "V" and "r" share a soft button 303 because the letter "v" only follows the letter T, and "η" and the letter V' only follows the letter "e". The soft keys can advantageously reduce the number of second soft keys on the pie shape and thus each second soft key has a relatively large area, which facilitates the user to touch or click. Although not reflected in Figure 3, the cake The size of the shape 301 can be preset according to the user's preference. The above has generally described a user interface that becomes a pie shape according to an embodiment of the present invention. How to input a Chinese character through the user interface is described below. The user expects to input the Chinese character ''flat,' and its pinyin letter is 'pmg'. First, he or she clicks on the 四(4) 尺^ soft keyboard to indicate the soft key of the letter “p,, (ie, the first soft button indicated above). After sensing the soft button, it has been clicked as shown in Figure 3. The illustrated pie shape 3〇1 will automatically pop up and wait for the user's further selection. In various embodiments of the invention, at least two ways may be provided to continue to input the remaining pinyin letters. In the first mode, the user You can click, touch, slide or press the soft key to indicate the Chinese pinyin letter "i". Here, sliding refers to the user continuously selecting the second soft button without lifting his or her finger or stylus off the touch screen. For example, after clicking the first soft button "p", the hand guard or stylus slides directly along the surface of the touch screen to the second soft button indicating the letter "丨". Once the pinyin letter “丨” has been entered, the previously popped pie shape 3〇1 will automatically disappear. Although not shown in Fig. 3, a list of candidate Chinese characters will be presented in the candidate window for user selection, similar to a plurality of Chinese characters in the text window as shown in Fig. 7 (discussed later). For example, a man with the same pinyin letters 'skin', ''batch,', '劈'' and "bend," will be presented. Because for the Chinese character "flat," the pinyin letter "ping" has not been fully entered. The user can click on the soft keyboard of the original soft keyboard to indicate the pinyin letter "n" (ie, the first soft button), which is the same as the pie shape 301 but is in another pie shape, for example, at a different position around the letter "n". . Similarly, the user can select a soft button that indicates the pinyin letter "g" (i.e., the second soft button) by clicking 'touch, slide, press, or other action. Once the pinyin letter "g" is entered, the input of the pinyin letters for the Chinese character flat has been completed. Similarly, there may be a list of candidate words for the final selection of the user. For example, the Chinese characters "by", "bottle" , 2, 201237680 “Ping” and “Screen” will be presented for further selection. The user can select the Chinese character “Ping” to successfully complete the input. From the first way, we can see the second pinyin of Chinese characters. The letters can be input to the device by a sensing operation on one of the plurality of second soft keys. For any two subsequent consecutive pinyin letters of the Chinese character (for example, "n" and "g" in this example), by displaying in soft The sensing operation on the corresponding soft key on the keyboard can input the first letter of two consecutive consecutive pinyin letters to the device. And, independent of the soft keyboard, display multiple second soft keys, which will be used for input as two Subsequent to the second letter of the consecutive pinyin letters in "a", "e", "g", "h", "i", "η", "ο", "u", "v", and "r" At least one In the second mode, after the user clicks the second soft button on the pie shape, that is, after inputting the pinyin letter "i", the pie shape 301 does not disappear, which is different from the first mode. Then, the user can The pie shape 301 continuously inputs two second soft keys indicating the pinyin letters "n" and "g". In the process of inputting, along with each input of the pinyin letters, the list of candidate Chinese characters can be updated accordingly. In the process of inputting, if the user wants to give up the pie shape, he or she can touch a blank area in the text editor or other soft keys on the soft keyboard. Then, the pie shape 301 can disappear and the user can simply use the soft keyboard. To input the pinyin letters. It can be seen from the second way that the second or more pinyin letters of the Chinese character can be input to the device through a sensing operation on one or more of the plurality of second soft keys. After the user enters the pinyin letter "i" through the pie shape, the pie shape will disappear and the new pie shape will basically pop up around the previous second 12 201237680 soft button "i". #他户 You can enter the pinyin key "n by clicking, touching, sliding, and wording to select the second soft button from the new pie shape. The shape of the bullet will basically surround the previous second soft press, 'because a new pie shape and enter the last pinyin letter button, the new pie shape (4) around the immediately following second soft " one, the number of soft buttons can be reduced and therefore each: "When the letter is entered, The size of the pie shape or the area of each second soft button can be expected. Excellent, with the input of «Pinyin every time, can also be displayed on (4) - some other soft keys. w彳& For any soft key that has been used to input the second pinyin letter or the additional pinyin letter of the Chinese character to the device, display multiple predicted soft keys, basically surrounding the soft keys that have been used, to = 4 to prepare the Chinese characters Additional pinyin letters. Because based on the number of remaining spellings, the size of Na can be dynamically changed during the process of inputting. 'Users may have fun with losing Pinyin letters. The three ways of using the user interface as shown in Figure 3 have been schematically described above. However, the present invention is still secretive. Any suitable changes or modifications can be made by those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. For example, although not shown in Fig. 3, in the trailing input of the pinyin letters, illegal letters that cannot follow the previous second soft button according to the pinyin encoding rules can be rendered dark gray to avoid incorrect input. In other words, the soft keys that are illegal for the second pinyin letter or the additional pinyin letters of the Chinese character will be displayed in an inconspicuous manner. In addition, the arrangement of the plurality of second soft keys on the pie shape as shown in Figure 3 is only 13 201237680 is merely exemplary; there may be other suitable arrangements for valid input. In addition to the pie shape, other suitable geometric shapes can also be used to represent the layout of the plurality of second soft keys, for example, a rectangle 401 as shown in FIG. Another advantage of using the above three methods flexibly is that Chinese characters or phrases with the same pinyin letters can be easily distinguished and input. For example, when the Chinese character "first" and the Chinese character "Xi'an" are input, they have the same pinyin letter "xian" (or "Xi An"), and the Chinese character phrase "Xi'an" can be input using the first method and the Chinese character "First" can be entered using the second or third method. Further, regarding the case where the soft keys for inputting the first pinyin letters (for example, "p" and "q") have reached or will exceed the edge of the soft keyboard (as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, respectively), the pie shape Areas of rectangles, squares, ellipses, or other shapes may extend beyond the edges of the touch screen. In this case, some soft keys for the second pinyin letter or the additional pinyin letters may be arranged on the side of the pie, rectangle, square, ellipse or other shape close to the edge of the touch screen, such as in FIG. A second soft button for inputting the pinyin letters "n", "vr", and "gh". An arrangement of this type will ensure that a second soft button that is legal for the second pinyin or additional pinyin letters is presented within the screen for user selection. Fig. 7 schematically shows an arrangement of a soft keyboard which can also solve the above-described situation, the details of which will be discussed later. As discussed above, Figure 4 illustrates another user interface 401 for inputting pinyin letters in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. The user interfaces 301 and 401 are identical or similar in terms of use and operation, except for the shape different from the user interface 301 shown in FIG. Therefore, for the purpose of simplifying the description, the discussion about the user interface shown in Fig. 4 is omitted here. 14 201237680 Figure 5 is a schematic illustration of a user interface for inputting pinyin letters in accordance with another embodiment of the present invention. As shown in Figure 5, the upper portion 501 of Figure 5 shows a simplified QWERTY soft keyboard. The middle portion 502 of FIG. 5 shows that when the first soft button "S" at the left side is clicked or pressed, as indicated by the cross symbol "X", a plurality of second soft buttons are displayed on the right portion 503 of the soft keyboard 501. . Similarly, the lower portion 504 of Figure 5 shows that when the first soft button "J" at the right side is clicked, the plurality of first soft buttons are not displayed at the left portion 505 of the soft keyboard 501. That is, a plurality of first soft knows: the keys are displayed on the soft keyboard, but on some soft keyboards different from the first soft keys, some of the original soft keys are replaced. This type of user interface can be advantageously applied to multi-touch enabled devices. Figure 6 is a schematic illustration of an additional user interface for inputting pinyin letters in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. Unlike the user interface as shown in Fig. 5, the second soft button for inputting pinyin letters is separated from the first soft button and forms an additional keyboard. In particular, the upper portion 6, the middle portion 6, and the bottom portion P05 of Fig. 6 specifically show a main soft keyboard, two of which are qwERTY soft keyboards and one of which is an ITU'T soft keyboard. The upper, middle 604 and lower 606 of Figure 6 are three additional keyboards including a plurality of second soft keys. When the user clicks on the first soft key that is not displayed on the main soft, the extra keyboard will pop up for the pinyin wheel of the step and disappear when the input is completed. It should be noted that the first two user interfaces are suitable for supporting multi-touch devices with large touch screens and the first user interface is suitable for devices that support single touch. Figure 7 shows that the arrangement of the 7F think I 4 soft keyboard that fits the layout of the soft keyboard used in conjunction with the user interface shown in Figure 3-6 is intended to solve such a problem that can be solved by the following: The second soft button shown in the multi-shape, ellipse or other shape shown in the cake will exceed the edge of the touch screen. In order to avoid such a situation, it is necessary to reduce the number of soft keys to be placed on the soft keyboard. In one embodiment, only _ eleven softkeys are used to input the first pinyin alphabet. As shown in Figure 7Φ % _ T, these twenty-three soft buttons are arranged in three rows 'including the uplink of eight soft buttons for 'V,, 'q,,,, v,, 'p' and 'o' 701, for the "a,,,," "" ", "g", "h", "j", and "丨" eight soft buttons of the middle row 7 〇 2, two and ^ "zf, j "X Down, 7〇3 of the seven keys of “,” “c”, “b”, “η”, “m”, and “k”. By initially arranging soft (four) in this way, all (four) two soft keys can be displayed in Within the touch screen 'even when the first soft button is close to the edge of the soft keyboard. Figure 8 is a schematic circle of a device in another embodiment of the present invention configured or implemented as shown in Figures 2-7 Or the user interface. The device 8G shown in Figure 8 is merely an example of a virtual device in which the towel implements the present invention. In some embodiments, the device 80 as shown in Figure 8 may be an individual. Digital assistant (PDA), mobile phone tongue, electronic dictionary or e-reader, receiving printer, etc. As shown in FIG. 8, device 8A includes at least one processor 800. , the soft keyboard 8〇1 (for example, implemented in the area of the touch screen), the codec circuit 8〇2, the microphone 8〇3, the earphone_, the wireless interface circuit 8〇5, the day_6′ at least the computer program code is stored _ a memory device, an infrared ray 8, a display lion 9 (for example, including the above-mentioned _ touch screen), a smart card 81 〇, and a card reader 81 are various types well known in the art and some of them It is not discussed here in order to unnecessarily confuse the embodiments of the present invention. 16 201237680 As shown in Figure 8, the memory code of the computer program stored in it is processed by the (four) recording keyboard. The sensing operation on the soft key is 'the first pinyin letter of the Chinese character input to the device 8G, and the second soft key is displayed independently of the soft keyboard, and the second soft key is used to input the H word. At least one of "a", "g", h 1 , n, "〇", "u", "v", and 'V' of the second phonetic alphabet.
