Abstract

A method and system for transmitting multimedia content sent from a first party to a second party is used to facilitate the selection of multimedia content on a portable electronic device. The method includes allocating multimedia content to unique channels and then transmitting indicators of the multimedia content in each channel for reception by the second party. Upon receipt of a signal from the second party indicating one or more selected indicators, one or more selected channels corresponding to the selected indicators is activated, whereby the content corresponding to the one or more selected channels is transmitted to the second party.
