Description

 The invention relates to computing, in particular to computer technology, and can be used for the same purpose, which uses desktop personal computers with the addition of wireless features and a voice recorder.

 Known electronic books containing two pivotally connected covers, on the inner sides of which are arranged screens and display occurs on two sides (screens), making the electronic book look like a regular book, while the electronic book has a storage medium and a device for inputting information medium (RU 2136053 , G 06 F 15/00, 08/27/1999).

 The disadvantages of this book include the small functionality, as well as the fact that there is no control of the reading process (change of information) in the device.

 Various electronic books are known, containing, as a rule, two internal screens, control buttons and a media input device, as well as a processor, RAM, ROM, video and sound cards, a modem and various interface units.

The closest in technical essence to the claimed device is a computer-telecommunication device - an organizer containing a data bus, control bus, processor, manual control unit, RAM unit, audio information interface unit, visual information interface unit, computer tool interface unit, monitor, microphone and headphones and a block of wireless interfaces, and the monitor is made with a sensitive surface that perceives the contact path of the pen-pen (RU 2127448 C1, G 06 F 15/00, 11.27.2000 )

 The disadvantages of this device are the presence of a single monitor screen, the need for a keyboard to enter information and the inability to use it as a traditional book (read information from two pages).

 The technical result of the invention is to expand the functionality of the electronic book.

 For this, in a device containing a data and control bus, a processor, a manual control unit, a random access memory unit, a memory unit, a computer interface unit, an audio information interface unit, a modem, a wireless interface unit and a monitor, it is proposed to make two screens on the inner surfaces of the covers, pivotally connected, wherein at least one screen is touch-sensitive, both screens are capable of simultaneous operation, the manual control unit comprises at least three buttons Ki - button for changing the screen mode, scrolling button and table of contents button, the block of wireless communication interfaces is made in the form of a radiotelephone, the keyboard of which, like the device’s keyboard in computer mode, is formed by means of a touch screen, and the audio information interface block is made in the form of a voice recorder-player, buttons controls which are also formed through the touch screen.

 Additional differences that allow you to further expand the functionality of the device are: the computer interface unit contains a TV tuner built into the video interface; the audio information interface unit further comprises a burning CD or DVD-ROM; the computer interface unit contains a video camera.

It should be noted that although the implementation of the screen in the form of two touch screens is known, as well as the use of one of them as a keyboard with the rotation of the information presented on the screen by 90 ^o (RU Application 98123836/09, G 06 F 3/033, 09/27/2000), the device meets the condition of "inventive step", since it is not an addition to one known device by another.

 After opening the e-book, the book is set to "normal book" using the button to change the screen mode 3. Using the table of contents buttons 5 and the scroll button 4, the information on the screens 2 is changed.

If you need to make edits to the information, a mode is established in which one of the touch screens serves as a keyboard, while the images on the screens rotate by 90 ^o , while the electronic book Panbook turns essentially into a laptop.

 Image rotation and formation on one of the touch screens 2 of the keyboard is carried out programmatically using the video interface included in the block of computer interfaces 19, such as a network card, infrared port and USB.

 In the recorder mode, digital recording of audio information is performed using the audio information interface unit 14, while recording and playback are controlled from the touch screen keyboard 2.

 To play recorded audio files in player mode, an audio information interface unit 14 compatible with SB-16 is also used. As a sound reproducing element, headphones may be used.

 It should be noted that for convenience, a "mouse" can be used, for which connector 8 is provided.

 It should be noted that the electronic book Panbook contains 19 elements in the block of computer interfaces that allow synchronization with any personal computer to exchange information.

 For ease of use, it seems desirable to use the Linux operating system.

 All blocks and elements of the e-book Panbuk - processor 11, a block of RAM 12, a storage unit 13, etc. connected according to a standard computer circuit through a data bus and control 10 two-way (bidirectional) communications.

 To improve the usability, a flash memory such as a SMART card can be used.

 When introducing a TV tuner into the video interface, the electronic book allows you to watch television broadcasts and record them in the storage unit 13.
