Abstract

Coding system for time stacked signals and direction of transition between two states. The signals are then decoded into the transformed states. It comprises a transmission side, a scanning circuit, a coding circuit and a shift register (6). The scanning circuit operates at a fixed repetition frequency on the input. The coding circuit converts the signal in the time stack into a code word formed by a number of bits. The code word is taken up in the shift register before it is transmitted. It contains 3 bits (a, b, c) with the condition of the original signal in the first bit and the period and possible transition in the other two bits.
