Measurement Of The Respiration, Hearing Ability, Form, And Blood Characteristics Of Living Organisms
(AREA)
Abstract
The present invention relates to a system that detects the heartbeat and measures blood oxygen saturation by pulse oximetry in an abalone, using photodiodes at emission frequencies of 660nm and 940nm and a light sensor with a sensitive spectrum in the range from 300nm to 1200nm. Said photodiodes modulate at a frequency between 500Hz and 1500Hz, using an optical fiber in a multimodal mode in a spectral range of 300nm to 1200nm to shine a light on the abalone skin and for its harvesting. The system works through two electronic systems for the emission, collection, and conversion of the light signal (analog-digital) from the photodiodes.
