Abstract

A system and a method for managing the parking are provided to facilitate parking management by checking a parking space of a parking lot. A parking management unit(10) is installed in an entrance of a parking lot. A gate of the entrance side is installed in the entrance of the parking lot. A parking fee paying unit(30) is installed in an exit of the parking unit. A main data processor(50) controls the parking management unit, the gate, and the parking fee paying unit and is installed in a parking management room. The parking management unit includes a vehicle entrance and exit sensor(11) and a management vehicle certification checking unit(12). An issuing device issues the parking ticket to a driver of the vehicle and includes a parking space displaying unit to check the parking space.

Parking management system and the method the same

The present invention relates to a parking management system and a method thereof, and more particularly, to a parking management system and a method capable of displaying a space available for parking in a ticket machine.

In general, there is a lot of inconvenience in parking due to the lack of parking space due to rapid supply of vehicles, in order to solve such inconveniences, subway stations, government offices, hospitals, large buildings, department stores, shopping dents each have their own parking facilities.

In particular, the system for servicing parking fees and parking times is as described in the magnetic code generator disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 61-9809 and the magnetic card disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 61-9882. A configuration is known in which a service code is recorded for the card, and the service code allows various parking services.
