Abstract

A navigation system and a controlling method using the same are provided to service a guidance message while replaying an audio file by outputting the audio file and the guidance message through vehicle and navigation speakers. A navigation system includes a setting unit(30), a transmission media(40), and a system controller(60). The setting unit sets a route guidance mode and/or an audio replay mode. The transmission media transmits an audio signal in the audio replay mode to a vehicle speaker(250).
