Abstract

A mouse pointing-type remote controller is provided to apply a mouse pointing type to a TV remote controller, and to adopt a finger movement as a means for mouse pointing, thus user's convenience is tremendously improved. A finger movement recognition device(11) is attached to a central part or a position which is easily operated. When an OSD(On Screen Display) screen is selected, a cursor is shown on a TV screen, so that a user selects a desired task by moving the cursor according to finger's movement. The finger movement recognition device(11) carries out the task on the basis of shadow recognition, so as to recognize the finger's movement even with low resolution and low precision.
