本発明は、画像を再生する際に、その画像に対する人間の感情を投影させた音楽を併せて再生する画像再生方法及び画像再生システムに関し、さらに、画像の情報とこのような音楽の情報とを記録した電子アルバム並びにその作成システム及び送配信システムに関する。
また本発明は、画像に基づく感情表現を可能ならしめる画像編集方法及び画像編集システムに関し、さらに、そのような感情表現要素も取り込んで記録した電子アルバム並びにその作成システム及び送配信システムに関する。
背景技術
従来より、写真を整理・保存するためのアルバムの一形態として、写真画像と、これに添えられたコメント文及びＢＧＭ（バック・グラウンド・ミュージック）とを電子データに変換してＣＤ−ＲＯＭ等の記録媒体に記録した電子アルバムがある。そして、ある人が作成した電子アルバムを他の人が受け取ってコンピュータで再生すると、ディスプレイ上に写真とコメント文が画像表示されるとともにスピーカーからＢＧＭが流れるようになっているため、受け手は、ＢＧＭのイメージと重ね合わせながら写真画像を鑑賞することができる。
しかしながら、このような電子アルバムにおけるＢＧＭは、あくまでも、写真画像から大多数の人が想起するであろうイメージをより強調するために用いられるものであり、またそうあるべきという固定観念が一般に存在する。したがって、送り手は、わざわざ写真画像を送っても、その写真画像についての自分の本来の感情を曲解されてしまうというもどかしさを感じることがあり、その場合に受け手は、送り手がその写真画像に基づいて何を伝えたいのかを計りかねることとなる。
また、このような電子アルバムを作成する際に、写真画像に添えるべきＢＧＭをどのようにして選べばよいのか迷う人も多く、適切なＢＧＭを含む電子アルバムを簡易に作成する方法やシステムの出現が待ち望まれている。
一方で、デジタルカメラ等が一般に普及して、電子データ形式で画像を記録することが容易である現在とは異なり、一昔前における画像を記録する手段といえば、被写体からの反射光を感光性フィルムに焼き付ける写真しかなかった。したがって、一昔前の個人的な思い出画像は、ネガやプリントといった形でストックされていることが多い。
ところが、近年の急速なコンピュータや関連機器の普及を背景として、そのような昔の大切な写真を単にアルバムに貼り付けてストックしておくのではなく、それらの画像を電子データに変換し、様々な補正・脚色を施した上で、コンピュータ上で再生可能な電子アルバムとして再構築することが、最近、特に年配者の間でブームとなっている。
そして、多くの場合、電子アルバムは写真の持主以外の者も鑑賞することとなり、鑑賞者は、ディスプレイ上に表示された写真画像を、同じくディスプレイ上に表示されたコメントやスピーカーから流れるＢＧＭと併せて味わう。
しかしながら、このような電子アルバムを作成する作業は大変な労力を要する。また、多数の写真画像をどのようなルールに従って編集すればよいのか途方に暮れてしまうことも多く、出来あがった電子アルバムが、例えば多数の写真画像を単に時系列順に羅列しただけの退屈なスライドショーとなってしまいがちである。したがって、簡易な電子アルバムの作成方法や作成システムの出現が待ち望まれていた。
また特に、電子アルバムの中身の画像に対する持主の真の感情が、それらの画像に対する一般的な感情と相違する場合には、持主は、せっかく電子アルバムを作成しても、画像に対する自分の真の感情を他人に正確に伝えられないという無力感で落ち込み、創作意欲を失ってしまいかねない。一方、鑑賞者にとって、持主の感情を正確に感じ取れないような電子アルバムを鑑賞することは苦痛であり、また持主との間に感情の誤解に起因したトラブルが発生することもある。
本発明はこのような事情に鑑みてなされたものであり、上述のような不都合を解消する画像再生方法・システム及び画像編集方法・システム並びに電子アルバムを提案することにより、画像に基づく新たな感情表現形態を世に問うとともに、これを普及させることを目的としている。また本発明は、電子アルバムを作成・送配信するための電子アルバム作成・送配信システムを提案することにより、電子アルバムの作成・送配信を簡易化し、近年の電子アルバム作成ブームを盛り上げることも目的としている。
発明の開示
請求の範囲第１項記載の発明は、画像についての感情を加味して選定した音楽とともに前記画像を再生することを特徴とする画像再生方法である。
かかる画像再生方法は、画像に合わせて再生する音楽を選定するにあたって、作者の画像についての本来の感情を加味するため、作者は「この画像にはこういうイメージのＢＧＭを付けるべき」という固定観念に束縛されることなく、画像についての自分の真の感情を音楽の手助けを借りながら自由に表現することができる。
なお「画像」は、静止画像や動画像等、視覚で認知されるあらゆるものを含み、「音楽」は、音楽の音符で表現できるような単音や、単音の連続した曲やメッセージ等、聴覚で認知されるあらゆるものを含む。
そして、請求の範囲第２項記載の発明は、請求の範囲第１項記載の画像再生方法であって、人間の感情情報と関連付けて音楽情報を記録しておき、画像に対する感情情報を入力することにより音楽が選定されることを特徴とするものである。
このように人間の感情情報と関連付けて音楽情報を予め記録しておき、画像に対する感情情報を入力することにより音楽が選定されるように構成してあれば、作者の画像についての真の感情が投影された音楽を簡易かつ適切に選定し、画像と音楽とを再生することができる。
請求の範囲第３項記載の発明は、画像情報を入力する画像入力手段と、前記画像についての感情情報を入力する感情入力手段と、音楽情報を記録した音楽記録手段と、感情情報と音楽情報との関係を規定した手段と、前記関係に従って、前記感情入力手段から入力された感情情報に対応する音楽情報を前記音楽記録手段から読み出す音楽取得手段と、この音楽取得手段によって読み出された音楽と前記画像入力手段から入力された画像とを再生する再生手段と、を備えてなることを特徴とする画像再生システムである。
かかる画像再生システムは、作者の画像についての真の感情を感情入力手段から入力すると、その感情に相応しい音楽が自動的に選定されて、その音楽が画像とともに再生されるように構成してあるため、作者は、固定観念に束縛されることなく、画像についての真の感情が投影された音楽を簡易かつ適切に選定し、かつ、その音楽の手助けを借りながら前記画像についての自分の真の感情を自由に表現することができる。
請求の範囲第４項記載の発明は、画像についての感情を加味して選定した画像編集パターンに従って前記画像を編集することを特徴とする画像編集方法である。
かかる画像編集方法は、画像についての感情を加味して選定した画像編集パターンに従って前記画像を編集するものであるため、これによって編集された画像の鑑賞者は、多数の画像が単に時系列順に並べられた退屈な電子アルバムでは決して味わうことのできない、画像に対する持主の真の感情を感じ取って、持主との精神的一体感を感じることができる。また、画像の持主は、画像編集パターンの選定を通じて、画像に対する自分の真の感情を様々な形態で表現することができる。
請求の範囲第５項記載の発明は、請求の範囲第４項記載の画像編集方法であって、感情情報と関連付けて画像編集パターンを記録しておき、画像についての感情情報を入力することにより前記画像編集パターンを選定することを特徴とする。
このように感情情報と関連付けて画像編集パターンを予め記録しておき、画像に対する感情情報を入力することにより画像編集パターンを選定するようにすれば、画像に基づく感情表現を行うに際して、どのようなルールに従って画像を編集すればよいのか迷うことなく、画像に対する持主の真の感情が素直に投影された形で画像編集を行うことができる。
請求の範囲第６項記載の発明は、画像情報を入力する画像入力手段と、前記画像についての感情情報を入力する感情入力手段と、画像編集パターンを記録した画像編集パターン記録手段と、感情情報と画像編集パターンとの関係を規定した手段と、前記関係に従って、前記感情入力手段から入力された感情情報に対応する画像編集パターンを前記画像編集パターン記録手段から選択する画像編集パターン選択手段と、この画像編集パターン選択手段によって選択された画像編集パターンに従って、前記画像入力手段から入力された画像を編集する画像編集手段と、を備えてなることを特徴とする画像編集システムである。
かかる画像編集システムは、画像についての感情情報が感情入力手段から入力されれば、その感情に相応しい画像編集パターンが自動的に選択され、その画像編集パターンに従って前記画像が編集されるように構成してあるため、画像に対する持主の真の感情が素直に投影された画像編集を容易に行うことができる。したがって、画像の持主は、画像編集パターンの選定を通じて、画像に対する自分の真の感情を様々な形態で表現することができ、鑑賞者は、多数の画像が単に時系列順に並べられた退屈な電子アルバムの鑑賞では決して味わうことのできない、画像に対する持主の真の感情を感じ取って、持主との精神的一体感を感じることができる。
請求の範囲第７項記載の発明は、画像情報と、前記画像についての感情を加味して選定した音楽情報と、を格納したコンピュータ読み取り可能なデータ記録媒体からなることを特徴とする電子アルバムである。
かかる電子アルバムは、画像情報とともに音楽情報が記録されているものであるが、その音楽は単なるＢＧＭと異なり、作者の画像についての真の感情を聴覚を通して鑑賞者に訴えるものとして位置付けられる。したがって、この電子アルバムは、作者（送り手）にとっては、自分の画像についての真の感情を他人に曲解されてしまうというもどかしさを感じることがないものであり、受け手にとっては、作者がその写真画像に基づいて何を伝えたいのかを正確に感じ取ってその感情に同化することができるようなものとなっている。
請求の範囲第８項記載の発明は、請求の範囲第７項記載の電子アルバムであって、コンピュータにより画像と音楽とが同期再生されるように該画像情報と該音楽情報とが格納されたコンピュータ読み取り可能なデータ記録媒体からなることを特徴とする。
かかる電子アルバムは、特に画像と音楽とが同期再生されるような形で該画像情報と該音楽情報とを格納したものであるため、作者の感情を表す音楽と画像との結びつきが強化される。したがって、作者（送り手）にとっては、自分の画像についての真の感情をより的確に表現することができるようになり、受け手にとっては、作者の感情により強く同化することができるようになる。
請求の範囲第９項記載の発明は、画像についての感情を加味して選定した画像編集パターンに従って編集された画像データがコンピュータ読み取り可能に記録されたデータ記録媒体からなることを特徴とする電子アルバムである。
かかる電子アルバムに記録された画像データは、画像についての感情を加味して選定した画像編集パターンに従って編集されているため、このような編集画像が記録されたデータ記録媒体は、画像に対する持主の感情が素直に投影された味わい深い電子アルバムとして成立する。
請求の範囲第１０項記載の発明は、画像情報を入力する画像入力手段と、入力された画像情報を記録媒体に書き込む画像書込手段と、前記画像についての感情情報を入力する感情入力手段と、音楽情報を記録した音楽記録手段と、感情情報と音楽情報との関係を規定した手段と、前記関係に従って、前記感情入力手段から入力された感情情報に対応する音楽情報を前記音楽記録手段から読み出す音楽取得手段と、この音楽取得手段によって読み出された音楽情報を前記記録媒体に書き込む音楽書込手段と、を備えてなることを特徴とする電子アルバム作成システムである。
かかる電子アルバム作成システムは、作者の画像についての真の感情を感情入力手段から入力すると、その感情に相応しい音楽が自動的に選定されて、その音楽と画像とが記録媒体に書き込まれるように構成してある。したがって、作者は、固定観念に束縛されることなく、画像についての自分の真の感情を音楽に投影しながら、音楽付き画像を格納した電子アルバムを簡易かつ適切に作成することができる。
請求の範囲第１１項記載の発明は、請求の範囲第１０項記載の電子アルバム作成システムであって、画像書込手段と音楽書込手段が、コンピュータにより画像と音楽とが同期再生されるように該画像情報と該音楽情報とを前記記録媒体に書き込むことを特徴とする。
かかる電子アルバム作成システムは、特に画像と音楽とが同期再生されるような形で電子アルバムを作成するため、作者（送り手）の画像についての真の感情がより的確に表現され、受け手が作者の感情により強く同化することができるような電子アルバムを作成することができるようになる。
請求の範囲第１２項記載の発明は、画像情報と顧客の該画像に基づく感情情報とを入力する画像感情入力手段と、音楽情報を記録した音楽記録手段と、感情情報と音楽情報との関係を規定した手段と、前記関係に従って、前記画像感情入力手段から入力された感情情報に対応する音楽情報を前記音楽記録手段から読み出す音楽取得手段と、この音楽取得手段によって読み出された音楽情報と、前記画像感情入力手段から入力された画像情報と、を記録媒体に書き込む書込手段と、を備えてなることを特徴とする電子アルバム作成システムである。
さらに、請求の範囲第１３項記載の発明は、画像情報と顧客の該画像に基づく感情情報とを入力する画像感情入力手段と、感情情報と音楽情報との関係を規定した手段と、前記関係に従って、前記画像感情入力手段から入力された感情情報に対応する音楽情報を、ネットワーク上の音楽ライブラリーから取得する音楽取得手段と、この音楽取得手段によって取得された音楽情報と、前記画像感情入力手段から入力された画像情報と、を記録媒体に書き込む書込手段と、を備えてなることを特徴とする電子アルバム作成システムである。
これらの電子アルバム作成システムは、手渡しや郵送、ネットワーク送信等により顧客から画像情報及び感情情報の提供を受ければ、その感情情報に相応しい音楽を自身の音楽ライブラリー又はネットワーク上の音楽ライブラリーから自動的に選定して、その音楽情報と画像情報とを記録媒体に書き込むように構成されているため、顧客の望みどおりの電子アルバムを第三者が簡易に作成することができる。なお、このようにして作成された電子アルバムは、手渡しや郵送によって顧客あるいは他の者に送られることになる。
請求の範囲第１４項記載の発明は、請求の範囲第１２項又は第１３項記載の電子アルバム作成システムであって、書込手段が、コンピュータにより音楽と画像とが同期再生されるように該音楽情報と該画像情報とを前記記録媒体に書き込むことを特徴とする。
かかる電子アルバム作成システムは、特に画像と音楽とが同期再生されるような形で電子アルバムを作成するため、作者（送り手）の画像についての真の感情がより的確に表現され、受け手が作者の感情により強く同化することができるような電子アルバムを作成することができるようになる。
請求の範囲第１５項記載の発明は、画像情報を入力する画像入力手段と、前記画像についての感情情報を入力する感情入力手段と、画像編集パターンを記録した画像編集パターン記録手段と、感情情報と画像編集パターンとの関係を規定した手段と、前記関係に従って、前記感情入力手段から入力された感情情報に対応する画像編集パターンを前記画像編集パターン記録手段から選択する画像編集パターン選択手段と、この画像編集パターン選択手段によって選択された画像編集パターンに従って、前記画像入力手段から入力された画像を編集する画像編集手段と、この画像編集手段によって編集された画像を、コンピュータ読み取り可能なデータ記録媒体に書き込む編集画像書込手段と、を備えてなることを特徴とする電子アルバム作成システムである。
かかる電子アルバム作成システムは、画像についての感情情報が感情入力手段から入力されれば、その感情に相応しい画像編集パターンが自動的に選択され、その画像編集パターンに従って前記画像が編集されて、データ記録媒体に書き込まれるように構成してあるため、画像編集パターンの選定について頭を悩ませることなく、画像に対する持主の真の感情が投影された電子アルバムを容易に作成することができる。
なお、編集画像が書き込まれたデータ記録媒体（電子アルバム）を、郵送又は手渡しにより友人・知人等に配れば、画像の持主は楽しいコミュニケーションの輪をひろげることができる。
請求の範囲第１６項記載の発明は、画像情報と顧客の該画像に基づく感情情報とを入力する画像感情入力手段と、音楽情報を記録した音楽記録手段と、感情情報と音楽情報との関係を規定した手段と、前記関係に従って、前記画像感情入力手段から入力された感情情報に対応する音楽情報を前記音楽記録手段から読み出す音楽取得手段と、この音楽取得手段によって読み出された音楽情報と、前記画像感情入力手段から入力された画像情報と、をネットワーク送配信する送配信手段と、を備えてなることを特徴とする電子アルバム送配信システムである。
請求の範囲第１７項記載の発明は、画像情報と顧客の該画像に基づく感情情報とを入力する画像感情入力手段と、感情情報と音楽情報との関係を規定した手段と、前記関係に従って、前記画像感情入力手段から入力された画感情情報に対応する音楽情報を、ネットワーク上の音楽ライブラリーから取得する音楽取得手段と、この音楽取得手段によって取得された音楽情報と、前記画像感情入力手段から入力された画像情報と、をネットワーク送配信する送配信手段と、を備えてなることを特徴とする電子アルバム送配信システムである。
これらの電子アルバム送配信システムは、手渡しや郵送、ネットワーク送信等により顧客から画像情報及び感情情報の提供を受ければ、その感情情報に相応しい音楽を自身の音楽ライブラリー又はネットワーク上の音楽ライブラリーから自動的に選定して、その音楽情報と画像情報とをネットワーク送配信するように構成されているため、顧客の望みどおりの電子アルバムを第三者が簡易に作成し、これを顧客の友人・知人はもちろん、世界中の人に気軽に楽しく鑑賞してもらうことができる。
請求の範囲第１８項記載の発明は、請求の範囲第１６項又は第１７項記載の電子アルバム送配信システムであって、送配信手段が、音楽取得手段によって取得された音楽情報と、画像感情入力手段から入力された画像情報と、がコンピュータにより同期再生されるようにネットワーク送配信することを特徴とする。
かかる電子アルバム送配信システムは、特に画像と音楽とが同期再生されるような形で電子アルバムを作成して送配信するため、作者（送り手）の画像についての真の感情がより的確に表現され、受け手が作者の感情により強く同化することができるような電子アルバムを送配信することができるようになる。
請求の範囲第１９項記載の発明は、画像情報を入力する画像入力手段と、前記画像についての感情情報を入力する感情入力手段と、画像編集パターンを記録した画像編集パターン記録手段と、感情情報と画像編集パターンとの関係を規定した手段と、前記関係に従って、前記感情入力手段から入力された感情情報に対応する画像編集パターンを前記画像編集パターン記録手段から選択する画像編集パターン選択手段と、この画像編集パターン選択手段によって選択された画像編集パターンに従って、前記画像入力手段から入力された画像を編集する画像編集手段と、この画像編集手段によって編集された画像をネットワーク送配信する編集画像送配信手段と、を備えてなることを特徴とする電子アルバム送配信システムである。
かかる電子アルバム送配信システムは、画像についての感情情報が感情入力手段から入力されれば、その感情に相応しい画像編集パターンが選択され、その画像編集パターンに従って前記画像が編集され、ネットワーク送配信されるように構成してあるため、画像に対する持主の真の感情が投影された電子アルバムを、友人・知人はもちろん、世界中の人に気軽に鑑賞してもらうことができる。
発明を実施するための最良の形態
本発明をより詳細に設述するために、添付の図面に従ってこれを説明する。
最初に、音楽の選択を通じて感情を表現する実施形態について説明する。
第１図は、本発明の画像再生方法の一実施形態の概念説明図である。同図において、大抵の人は、山の向こうから朝日が昇る写真画像１を見て、「さわやかな景色だなあ。」とか「気持ちよさそうだなあ。」というようなイメージを抱くであろうが、人物Ａはそのようなイメージではなく、「田舎に帰りたい。」という郷愁の念が沸き起こり、この気持ちを人物Ｂに伝えたくなったものとする。このとき、折角だからＢＧＭを添えて写真画像１をインターネット送信しようと考えた人物Ａは、ＢＧＭとして、通常であれば、さわやかで気持ちよさそうな音楽、例えばビバルディーの「四季」等を選定するところであるが、ここでは、自分の写真画像１に対する素直な感情を尊重して、郷愁の念を投影した音楽、例えば童謡「ふるさと」等を選定する。そして、この音楽のデータを添えて、スキャナ２ａからコンピュータ２に読み込んだ写真画像１のデータを人物Ｂにインターネット送信する。なお、音楽は、人物Ａの手持ちの音楽ＣＤ等から選定してそれをコンピュータ２に読み込んでもよいし、予めコンピュータ２に記憶させてある音楽ライブラリーの中から選定してもよく、あるいはインターネット上で配信されているものをダウンロードしてきてもよい。また、コンピュータ２に読み込んだ画像データや音楽データを、自分の嗜好・感情に合わせて適宜補正してもよい。
人物Ａが送信した画像データ及び音楽データは、人物Ｂのコンピュータ３で受信され、ディスプレイ３ａに写真画像１が表示されるとともに、スピーカー３ｂから音楽「ふるさと」が流れることになる。したがって、このような画像及び音楽を鑑賞する人物Ｂは、単に写真画像１だけが表示されている場合や、写真画像１の表示とともに通常のＢＧＭ（例えば、ビバルディーの「四季」等）が演奏される場合のように「Ａさんは、きれいな風景写真を入手したから、送ってくれたんだな。」などと誤解することなく、人物Ａの写真画像１についての感情「田舎に帰りたい。」という郷愁の念に共感することができる。一方、人物Ａも、自分の写真画像１についての真の感情を正確に理解してもらえ、満足感を得ることができる。
第２図は、このような画像再生を行うシステムの一実施形態の機能ブロック図である。同図に示す画像再生システム１０は、主制御装置１１、入出力制御装置１２、記憶装置１３を相互にバス接続したものであり、入出力制御装置１２には、写真画像１を読み込むためのスキャナ１２ａ、各種データを入力するためのキーボード１２ｂ、ＣＤメディアに記録されているデータを読み込んだりＣＤ−ＲＷにデータを書き込むためのＣＤ−ＲＷドライブ１２ｃ、画像を表示するためのディスプレイ１２ｄ、音楽を再生するためのアンプ１２ｅ及びスピーカー１２ｆが接続されている。
記憶装置１３には、音楽ライブラリー１３ａと感情テーブル１３ｂが格納されている。音楽ライブラリー１３ａは多数の音楽データを格納したものであり、感情テーブル１３ｂは、音楽ライブラリー１３ａに格納されている音楽データと感情データとを関連付けたものである。第３図に例示した感情テーブル１３ｂは、感情データ「さわやかな」に音楽「四季」が、感情データ「田舎に帰りたい」に音楽「ふるさと」が対応するように構成されたものである。なお、既に述べたように、画像を基にして感情を決定する際には、大多数の人がその画像について思い浮かべるであろうイメージに束縛されることなく、作者の画像に基づく本当の感情を抽出することになるが、感情テーブル１３ｂの規定内容は、大多数の人が各音楽について思い浮かべるであろうイメージに沿った形で音楽と感情とを関連付けたものでなければならない。本発明は、各音楽について大多数の人の共通イメージが固まっていることを利用しつつも、各画像についての共通イメージの存在を否定して、作者の画像に基づく感情表現形態の自由化を指向するものだからである。
第４図は、この画像再生システムの使用手順の一例を表すフローチャートである。
Ｓ１では、作者の感情表現のベースとなる写真画像１をスキャナ１２ａから読み込んで、画像データを作成する。写真画像１は、手持ちのアルバムから取り出してきたものや雑誌の切り抜きでよい。画像データは、主制御装置１１内のワークメモリに一時的に記憶される。このとき、必要に応じて写真画像１に基づく感情を文章表現したコメント等をキーボード１２ｂから入力してもよい。
次にＳ２では、画像表示形態を決定する。例えば画像を拡大・縮小させたい場合や部分的にモザイクをかけたい場合等に、その旨をキーボード１２ｂから入力指示する。
さらにＳ３では、画像の補正を行う。例えば、写真画像１に傷があったりした場合等に、必要に応じてキーボード１２ｂからの入力指示により、作者の感情の要旨を変更しない範囲で傷を補正する。
続くＳ４では、人物Ａが、写真画像１についての自分の真の感情を自覚・抽出して、その感情データをキーボード１２ｂから入力する。例えば、写真画像１について大多数の人が思い浮かべるであろうイメージから自我を解放し、自分は写真画像１に基づいて何を表現し、何を伝えたいのか、を自分なりに明確にした上で、キーボード１２ｂから（「さわやかな」ではなく）「田舎に帰りたい」と入力する。
そしてＳ５では、Ｓ４で明確になった作者の写真画像１に基づく感情を投影した音楽を選定する。すなわち、Ｓ４で感情データ「田舎に帰りたい」が入力されたことを受けて、主制御装置１１は、感情データ「田舎に帰りたい」が音楽データファイル名「ふるさと．ｗａｖ」に対応することを感情テーブル１３ｂから読み取った上で、音楽ライブラリー１３ａに格納されている音楽「ふるさと」のデータを読み出す。
続いてＳ６では、主制御装置１１上の前記画像データをディスプレイ１２ｄに表示させるとともに、それと同期化して音楽データを音信号に変換してアンプ１２ｅで増幅後スピーカー１２ｆから出力（音楽演奏）する。
このようにして作者は、自分の写真画像１についての真の感情を投影した音楽をＢＧＭとして画像を鑑賞することができ、また、その場に居合わせた他人にそのような画像及び音楽を鑑賞してもらうことができる。
また、この画像再生システム１０は、画像及び音楽のデータを、ＣＤ−ＲＷドライブ１２ｃからＣＤ−ＲＷ等の記録媒体に書き込むことにより、作者の写真画像１についての真の感情を投影した音楽をＢＧＭとした電子アルバムの作成システムとしても機能する。画像及び音楽のデータ書込みは、画像と音楽との結び付きを強めて的確な感情表現を可能とするために、画像と音楽とが同期再生されるようにしておくことが望ましい。作者は、このようにして作成した電子アルバムを、結婚式の引き出物や四十九日のお返しなどとして他人に贈ることができる。
以上の画像再生システムないし電子アルバム作成システムは、単体で成立するものを想定したが、次に第５図を参照しながら説明する電子アルバム作成システム１００は、通信制御装置１０１を介してインターネットに接続されているものである。インターネットには、写真画像１の持ち主である人物Ａのコンピュータ２、人物Ａの知人である人物Ｂのコンピュータ３も接続されている。
このような電子アルバム作成システム１００を利用して、業者Ｃが、顧客である人物Ａの電子アルバム作成を代行する実施形態を説明する。まず、業者Ｃは、写真画像１の画像データを記憶装置１３に格納する。そのためには、手渡しや郵送により人物Ａから写真を受け取った後、これをスキャナ１２ａから読み込んだり、人物Ａがスキャナ２ａから自分のコンピュータ２に読み込んでＣＤ−ＲＯＭ等の記録媒体に記録したものを提供してもらい、これをＣＤ−ＲＷドライブ１２ｃから読み込むこととなる。また、人物Ａが自分のコンピュータ２に読み込んだ画像データをインターネット送信してもらってもよい。そして、このようにして記憶装置１３に格納した画像データに適宜の補正を施す。
また、業者Ｃは、人物Ａの写真画像１に基づく真の感情を聞き出し、そのデータを記憶装置１３に格納する。そのためには、人物Ａに口頭や書面で感情をインタビューし、それをキーボード１２ｂから入力したり、人物Ａが自分のコンピュータ２に入力してＣＤ−ＲＯＭ等の記録媒体に記録したものを提供してもらい、これをＣＤ−ＲＷドライブ１２ｃから読み込むこととなる。また、人物Ａが自分のコンピュータ２から入力した感情データをインターネット送信してもらってもよい。
このようにして、人物Ａの写真画像１に基づく感情データを入手すると、主制御装置１１は、感情データに対応する音楽データファイル名を感情テーブル１３ｂから読み取った上で、音楽ライブラリー１３ａに格納されている音楽データあるいはインターネット上の音楽ライブラリー１０２から音楽データを取得する。 そして、この音楽データと前記画像データとを、音楽と画像とがコンピュータ上で同期再生されるようにＣＤ−ＲＷドライブ１２ｃにおいてＣＤ−ＲＷ等の記録媒体に書き込めば、電子アルバムが作成される。このようにして作成された電子アルバムは、業者Ｃにより人物Ａに送られ、これを受け取った人物Ａにより人物Ｂに贈られる。もちろん、人物Ａの要望次第では、業者Ｃが人物Ｂに直接電子アルバムを送ってもよい。
また、業者Ｃは、画像データと音楽データとを記録媒体に書き込まずに、あるいは記録媒体への書き込みと並行して、これらのデータを人物Ａ又は人物Ｂにインターネット送信するようにしてもよい。さらにまた、業者Ｃは、これらのデータを人物Ａ又は人物Ｂにインターネット送信するのではなく、該データを記憶装置１３又はインターネット上のいずれかのサーバに格納し、インターネット上の他のコンピュータ端末からアクセスさせるようにしてもよい。このとき、電子アルバムへのアクセスに際してパスワードの入力を要求する等、一定の制限を加えるようにしてもよいし、一切の制限を加えず世界中どこからでも自由にアクセスできるようにしてもよい。すなわち、この電子アルバム作成システム１００は、電子アルバム送配信システムとしても機能することとなる。
このように人物Ａの感情が素直に投影された電子アルバムをネットワーク送配信すれば、人物Ａの友人・知人はもちろん、面識のない世界中の人にも気軽に鑑賞してもらうことができるので、人物Ａの満足度はさらに高まる。
以上、本発明の実施形態について説明してきたが、本発明はこれに限定されるものではなく、適宜の変更を加えて実施されるべきものである。例えば、感情テーブル１３ｂをもっと階層的に細分化して構成することが考えられる。すなわち、音楽ジャンル別（例えば、クラシック、ジャズ、軽音楽、民謡、…）、音楽の雰囲気別（例えば、悲しい雰囲気の曲、楽しい雰囲気の曲、喜んでいる雰囲気の曲、怒っている雰囲気の曲、…）、画像の題材別（例えば、スポーツ画像、旅行画像、風景画像、…）、画像の色調別（例えば、ＲＧＢの強さのバランスで、Ｒの比率大、Ｇの比率大、Ｂの比率大、…）などのように音楽を分類した上で、順次音楽を絞り込んでいけるように感情データテーブル１３ｂを構成すれば（例えば、スポーツ画像には行進曲、旅行画像にはスクリーンミュージック、風景画像には民謡というように、あるいはＲ比率大の画像には情熱的な曲、Ｇ比率大の画像にはさわやかな曲、Ｂ比率大の曲にはなまめかしいボーカル曲、というように）、作者の画像に対する無意識の感情をも容易に引き出すことができるようになり、また、受け手の嗜好に合わせた選曲も可能となる。
引き続き、画像編集パターンの選択を通じて感情を表現する実施形態について説明する。
第６図は、本発明の画像編集方法の一実施形態の概念説明図である。
まず、同図（ａ）は、ある人物の手持ちの写真Ａ〜Ｆであって、いずれも彼が以前に妻及び友人夫婦の計４人で軽井沢に旅行したときの光景が写っている。これらの写真Ａ〜Ｆをコンピュータに読み込んだ上で、単に時系列順に並べて（すなわち、Ａ→Ｂ→Ｃ→Ｄ→Ｅ→Ｆの順に並べて）スライド化した電子アルバムを作成すると、これを鑑賞する大抵の人は、「軽井沢に旅行して楽しかったんだね。」とか「きれいな景色だったんだね。」等の感情を抱くであろう。しかし、彼が写真Ａ〜Ｆを通じて思い出す軽井沢の旅行についての感情は、何よりもまず「軽井沢もかなり観光地化されてしまって、寂しい。」というものであり、したがって彼は、そのような自分の真の感情が素直に投影された電子アルバムを作成したがっているものとする。
そこで彼は、写真Ａ〜Ｆの中から「寂しい」という自分の感情に相応しいイメージの写真Ａ，Ｄ，Ｅ，Ｆだけを選び出し（すなわち、写真Ｂ，Ｃは除外する。）、コンピュータに取り込む。次に、これらの写真Ａ，Ｄ，Ｅ，Ｆそれぞれについて、「寂しい」という感情に相応しい補正・加工を施す。そして、これらの写真Ａ，Ｄ，Ｅ，Ｆを、「寂しい」という感情に相応しい順序（Ａ→Ｅ→Ｄ→Ｆ）に並べ替え、各写真間の演出（すなわちＡからＥに移行する際には、Ａが中心縦軸まわりに回転してめくれるとその下に隠れていたＥが見えるように、ＥからＤに移行する際には、Ｅが画面左側から徐々にＤによって侵食されていってＤに置き換えられるように、ＤからＦに移行する際には、Ｆの細切れピースが次々と上から降ってきてＤに置き換えられるように）も施してスライド化した上で再生する。その結果、同図（ｂ）に示すようなスライドショーが出来あがったのであり、このスライドショーは、彼の「寂しい」という感情が十分に投影されているから、もはやこのスライドショーの鑑賞者が「軽井沢に旅行して楽しかったんだね。」とか「きれいな景色だったんだね。」といった感情を抱くことはないであろう。
このように、写真Ａ〜Ｆの持主は、電子アルバムを構成する画像の選択、選択した写真の補正・加工、それらの写真の並べ方やコマ間の演出等について工夫を凝らすことによって、写真Ａ〜Ｆを通じて思い出す軽井沢の旅行についての自分の真の感情を自由に表現できることとなったのであり、単に写真Ａ〜Ｆの全てをコンピュータに取り込んで、何らの加工・補正も施さず、しかも時系列的に並べただけの退屈なスライドショー（第６図（ａ）参照）ではない、味わい深い電子アルバム（第６図（ｂ）参照）を作成することができるのである。つまり、このように画像の編集パターンに人間の感情を投影させれば、画像について大多数の人が感じるであろう感情とは異なる、画像の持主の真の感情をも表現することができる、というのが本発明の基本概念である。
第７図は、このような画像編集を行うシステムの一実施形態の機能ブロック図である。同図に示す画像編集システム１０’は、主制御装置１１、入出力制御装置１２、記憶装置１３’を相互にバス接続したものであり、入出力制御装置１２には、写真画像を読み込むためのスキャナ１２ａ、各種データを入力するためのキーボード１２ｂ、ＣＤに記録されているデータを読み込んだりＣＤにデータを書き込むためのＣＤ−ＲＷドライブ１２ｃ、画像を表示するためのディスプレイ１２ｄ、音楽を再生するためのアンプ１２ｅ及びスピーカー１２ｆが接続されている。
記憶装置１３’には、画像編集プログラム１４、感情テーブル１５、音楽ライブラリー１６等が格納されている。
画像編集プログラム１４は様々な画像編集を行うためのソフトウェアであり、ここでは、入力された複数の画像中からスライドショーを構成する画像を選び出す選択プログラム１４ａと、選択された各画像に対して補正等を行う加工プログラム１４ｂと、選択・加工された複数の画像の順序を並べ替えたり、各コマ間の演出を施したりする演出プログラム１４ｃとを含んでいる。
また、感情テーブル１５は、画像編集プログラム１４によって行うことのできる画像編集パターンと感情データとを関連付けたものであり、選択プログラム１４ａ、加工プログラム１４ｂ、演出プログラム１４ｃにそれぞれ対応するテーブル１５ａ、テーブル１５ｂ、テーブル１５ｃからなる。
ここで、テーブル１５ａは、第８図（ａ）に示すように、選択プログラム１４ａが行う各処理である「全て選択」、「１つおきに選択」、「２つおきに選択」、「ランダム選択」、「１つだけ選択」等の選択パターンと、画像に対する持主の思い入れの強弱度合の１０段階数値表示（「１０」が極めて強い、「５」が普通、「１」が極めて弱い）とを対応させたものである。
また、テーブル１５ｂは、第８図（ｂ）に示すように、加工プログラム１４ｂが行う各処理である「ズームイン」、「チルト」、「パン」、「傷補正」、「ズームアウト」等の加工パターンと、画像に対する持主の喜怒度合の１０段階数値表示（「１０」が極めて喜んでいる、「５」が普通、「１」が極めて怒っている）とを対応させたものである。
さらに、テーブル１５ｃは、第８図（ｃ）に示すように、演出プログラム１４ｃが行う各処理である「ブーメラン３Ｄ」、「フォール」、「ブロック」、「風」、「フライングオーバー」等の演出パターンと、画像に対する持主の哀楽度合の１０段階数値表示（「１０」が極めて哀しい、「５」が普通、「１」が極めて楽しい）とを対応させたものである。
ところで、既に述べたように、画像を基にして感情を決定する際には、大多数の人がその画像について思い浮かべるであろうイメージに束縛されることなく、画像に対する持主の素直な感情を抽出することになるが、感情テーブル１５の規定内容は、大多数の人が各画像編集パターンについて思い浮かべるであろうイメージに沿った形で感情と画像編集パターンとを関連付けたものでなければならない。例えば、ある画像について持主が「嫌い」という感情を抱いているにもかかわらず、その画像をスライドショー中で強調するような画像編集パターンを選択することは、画像に対する持主の感情を反映しているとはいえない。つまり本発明は、各画像編集パターンについて大多数の人の共通イメージが固まっていることを利用しつつも、画像自体についての共通イメージの存在を否定して、画像に基づく感情表現形態の自由化を指向するものなのである。
第９図は、この画像編集システムの使用手順の一例を表すフローチャートである。
Ｓ１では、持主の感情表現のベースとなる複数の写真画像をスキャナ１２ａから時系列順に読み込む。写真画像は、手持ちのアルバムから取り出してきたものや雑誌の切り抜きでよいが、ある一つの共通テーマに沿っていることが望ましい。本発明では、それらの写真画像に対する一つの感情を抽出・特定する必要があるからである。読み込まれた画像データは、主制御装置１１内のワークメモリに一時的に記憶される。
次にＳ２では、Ｓ１で読み込んだ複数の写真画像に対しての持主の思い入れの度合いを１０段階の数値で決定し、それをキーボード１２ｂから入力指示する。つまり、写真画像について大多数の人が思い浮かべるであろうイメージやセオリーといった固定観念から自我を解放し、自分は画像に基づいて何を表現し、何を伝えたいのか、を自分なりに明確にした上で、例えば極めて思い入れが強いならば「１０」をキーボード１２ｂから入力する。
するとＳ３において、思い入れについての感情データ「１０」が選択パターン「全て選択」に対応することがテーブル１５ａから読み取られ、選択プログラム１４ａによって「入力画像を全て選択する」画像編集処理が実行される。
次にＳ４では、Ｓ２と同様にして、複数の写真画像に対しての持主の喜怒の度合いを１０段階の数値で決定し、それをキーボード１２ｂから入力指示する。つまり、写真画像について大多数の人が思い浮かべるであろうイメージやセオリーといった固定観念から自我を解放し、自分は画像に基づいて何を表現し、何を伝えたいのか、を自分なりに明確にした上で、例えば喜びも怒りも特にないのであれば「５」をキーボード１２ｂから入力する。
するとＳ５において、喜怒についての感情データ「５」が加工パターン「傷補正」に対応することがテーブル１５ｂから読み取られ、加工プログラム１４ｂによって「入力画像の傷を修復する」画像編集処理が実行される。
さらにＳ６では、Ｓ２やＳ４と同様にして、複数の写真画像に対しての持主の哀楽の度合いを１０段階の数値で決定し、それをキーボード１２ｂから入力指示する。つまり、写真画像について大多数の人が思い浮かべるであろうイメージやセオリーといった固定観念から自我を解放し、自分は画像に基づいて何を表現し、何を伝えたいのか、を自分なりに明確にした上で、例えばある程度哀しいのであれば「８」をキーボード１２ｂから入力する。
するとＳ７において、感情データ「８」が演出パターン「ブロック」に対応することがテーブル１５ｃから読み取られ、演出プログラム１４ｃによって「ブロック形式でコマ送りする」画像編集処理（第６図（ｂ）のＤ→Ｆ参照）が実行される。
そして、最後のＳ８では、Ｓ３，Ｓ５，Ｓ７でそれぞれ選択、加工、演出された主制御装置１１上の複数の画像データがスライド化され、コマ送りでディスプレイ１２ｄに表示される。
以上のように、この画像編集システム１０’を用いれば、写真画像に対する持主の真の感情を投影した編集パターンに従って自動的に画像編集が行われ、スライド化された電子アルバムが編集されるので、写真画像の持主は、画像編集パターンの選定を通じて、画像に対する自分の真の感情を様々な形態で容易に表現することができ、鑑賞者は、多数の画像が単に時系列順に並べられた退屈な電子アルバムの鑑賞では決して味わうことのできない、画像に対する持主の真の感情を感じ取って、持主との精神的一体感を感じることができる。
また、この画像編集システム１０’は、音楽ライブラリー１６から選択した音楽をＢＧＭとして、アンプ１２ｅ及びスピーカー１２ｆから再生出力することもできる。このとき、ＢＧＭの選択の仕方によっても、画像に対する持主の感情を表現できることは言うまでもない。
そして、この画像編集システム１０’は、画像及び音楽のデータをＣＤ、ＤＶＤ、ＶＨＳビデオテープ等のデータ記録媒体に書き込むことにより、写真画像に対する持主の真の感情を投影した電子アルバムの作成システムとしても機能する。持主は、このようにして作成した電子アルバムを、結婚式の引き出物や四十九日のお返しなどとして他人に贈ることができる。

このようにして、人物Ａの写真画像１に基づく感情データが入力されると、テーブル１５ａ〜１５ｃから順次、感情データに対応する画像編集パターンが読み取られ、対応する画像編集プログラム１４ａ〜１４ｃによる画像編集処理が実行される。また、音楽ライブラリー１６，１０２から、人物Ａの感情に相応しい音楽データを取得してＢＧＭとしてもよい。このようにして、人物Ａの感情が素直に投影されたスライドショーが完成する。
そして、この画像データをＣＤ−ＲＷドライブ１２ｃにおいてＣＤ等のデータ記録媒体に書き込めば、電子アルバムが作成される。このようにして作成された電子アルバムは、業者Ｃにより人物Ａに送られ、これを受け取った人物Ａにより人物Ｂに贈られる。もちろん、人物Ａの要望次第では、業者Ｃが人物Ｂに直接電子アルバムを送ってもよい。

以上、本発明の実施形態について説明してきたが、本発明はこれに限定されるものではなく、感情のバリエーションや画像編集パターンのバリエーション、それらの組み合わせ方や調整方法をもっと細分化していけば、画像に対する持主の無意識の感情をも容易に引き出すことができるようになり、また、受け手の嗜好に合わせた画像編集パターンの選択も可能となる。
産業上の利用可能性
以上のように、本発明の画像再生方法によれば、作者は「この画像にはこういうイメージのＢＧＭを付けるべき」という固定観念に束縛されることなく、画像についての自分の真の感情を音楽の手助けを借りながら自由に表現することができ、また作者の画像についての真の感情が投影された音楽を簡易かつ適切に選定し、画像と音楽とを再生することができる。
本発明の画像再生システムによれば、作者は、固定観念に束縛されることなく、画像についての真の感情が投影された音楽を簡易かつ適切に選定し、かつ、その音楽の手助けを借りながら前記画像についての自分の真の感情を自由に表現することができる。
本発明の画像編集方法や画像編集システムによれば、画像に基づく感情表現を行うに際して、どのようなルールに従って画像を編集すればよいのか迷うことなく、画像に対する持主の真の感情が素直に投影された画像編集を容易に行うことができる。したがって、画像の持主は、画像編集パターンの選定を通じて、画像に対する自分の真の感情を様々な形態で表現することができ、鑑賞者は、多数の画像が単に時系列順に並べられた退屈な電子アルバムの鑑賞では決して味わうことのできない、画像に対する持主の真の感情を感じ取って、持主との精神的一体感を感じることができる。
