Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform precision remote-monitoring even in a high magnetic field, by feeding current to the input side of an SF6-decomposition detecting element, and by electric-light-converting current change due to resistance change when the SF6 is decomposed because of the internal abnormal state of an electric apparatus, to transmit signal with an optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:In a sealed grounding metal vessel 1, SF6 gas is enclosed, and an SF6-decomposition detecting element 4 is fitted. The other end of a conductor 7a connected to the input side of the detecting element 4 via a sealed insulating terminal 8a is connected to a photoelectric conversion section 10a via an amplifier 9a, and the other end is connected to a signal processing section 12 by an optical fiber 11b. A conductor 7b on the output side of the detecting element 4 is connected in the same manner, to a light-emitting diode 10b via a sealed insulating terminal 8b and an amplifier 9b, and the light from the diode is transmitted to the signal processing section 12 via a glass fiber 11b. The signal processing section 12 transfers signals to and from a remote monitoring controlling board 13 via an optical fiber 11c. The detecting element 4 suffers a change in resistance when the SF6 is decomposed due to an abnormal state. As a result, even in the poor circumstance of a high magnetic field, a high temperature, or the like, the internal abnormal state is exactly detected.
