Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure the confirmation of television operation by providing a circuit controlling a storage timing of an input video signal to a picture memory and a circuit superimposing a storage picture stored in the picture memory and a television picture by a video signal inputted newly through screen division. CONSTITUTION:A timing circuit 2 controls the storage timing of the input video signal to a picture memory 1 by a command from a trigger (TRIG) switch 4 and switches alternately the video signal output as the input video signal or the video signal stored in the picture memory 1 every turn-on of the screen changeover (TV/MEMORY) switch 5. Then the superimposing circuit starts the operation to output a video signal being the result of superimposition of the television picture by the new input video signal and the stored picture stored in the picture memory 1 according to the screen ratio sequentially through the screen division. The screen ratio as shown in figure A just after the store of pattern, for example, the stored picture is '1' and then changes quickly to '0' or to a specified value.
