Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the channeling of untreated gas, to promote the diffusion, and to enhance the denitration performance of the title device by forming an exhaust gas inlet duct with an upstream inlet square-shaped duct and a downstream inlet diffuser duct, and arranging an NH3 injection pipe in the upstream inlet square-shaped duct. CONSTITUTION:The upstream square-shaped cut 20 is arranged on the center line 22 connecting the center Q of the exhaust gas inlet duct 11 and the center P of a denitration reactor 13, and has a square shape having the sides C-D and F-E almost parallel to the center line 22. The duct 20 and the reactor 13 are connected by the downstream inlet diffuser duct 21 gradually expanding from the side C-F of the duct 20 toward the side B-G of the reactor 13, and an NH3 injection pipe 12 is arranged din the duct 20. Since the distance between the centers P and Q is made shortest in this way, the channeling of untreated gas is minimized, and the diffusion of NH3 is ameliorated.
