Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency in an editing operation by computing the number of rotations necessary for the developing process of an image forming body from the number of X and Y data, thereafter executing a fixing process and recording a superposed written image through one copying operation. CONSTITUTION:A 1st writing direction is selected in the main scanning direction (horizontal scanning direction) of an image reader and a 2nd writing direction is selected in the sub scanning direction (vertical scanning direction). By rotating the image forming body by the number of times in accordance with the number of developing rotations, the image information is recorded by superposed to be written. Namely, in case of executing the superposed writing under a specification that magnification is unmagnification, the image forming body is controlled to rotate four times. In such a case, the image 33 which is in the same position of an original image is copied in the 1st rotation and, in this example, the image 34 is copied on the right side of the image 33 in the 2nd rotation. And the image 35 is copied under the original image 33 in the 3rd rotation and the image 36 is copied right downward in the last 4th rotation, then the superposed writing editing of the image is completed. Thus, the editing function which is easy of the superposed writing can be obtained.
