FOR MAGNIFYING THE DIMENSIONS IN SPACE OF PICTURES A METHOD IS KNOW IN WHICH THE INCREASING OF THE AMPLITUDE OF THE VERTICAL DEFLECTION IS COMBINED WITH A DIGITAL MAGNIFICATION OF THE SIGNAL IN THE HORIZONTAL DIRECTION. FOR THE MODIFICATION OF THE DIMENSIONS IN SPACE OF PICTURES (A) THE DATA ARE WRITTEN INTO A MEMORY WITHOUT PRIOR EXPANSION. THE EXPANSION OF THE PICTURE DATA IS PERFORMED DURING THE READING-OUT OF THE MEMORY. (B) THE EXPANSION OF THE DATA IS PERFORMED DURING THE WRITING OF THE DATA INTO THE PICTURE MEMORY. THE REPRODUCTION IS PERFORMED BY READING-OUT LINE BY LINE. IMPROVED PICTURE REPRODUCTION METHOD.(FIG 4)
