Abstract

PURPOSE:To dissolve the inner layer of a balloon by gastric juice and to naturally excrete the outer layer thereof when the reduction effect of one's wt. is achieved and the balloon becomes unnecessary, by constituting the film for forming the balloon of the inner layer composed of an acid soluble film and the outer layer composed of an acid resistant film. CONSTITUTION:The film used in the formation of a balloon main body 1 consists of an inner layer 3 and the outer layer 4 applied thereto. For example, the inner layer 3 is composed of a chitinic acid forming substance and easily dissolved by gastric juice and the thickness thereof is about 0.3mm. The outer layer 4 is composed of silicone for example and is a membrane having a thickness of 0.1mm or less and prevents the dissolution of the main body 1 by gastric juice. When the balloon stayed in the stomach becomes unnecessary since reduction effect of one's wt. is achieved, the outer layer and the inner layer 3 are broken through by a heat probe heatable to high temp. to form a plurality of holes. Whereupon, gastric juice is penetrated in the bag like body 5 of the main body 1 from the holes to dissolve the inner layer 3 and the air in the bag like body 5 is discharged and only the solid of the outer layer 4 composed of the shrunk membrane remains. Since this solid is small, it can be naturally excreted out of the body without any hindrance by the peristalsis of an alimentary system and a special recovery means becomes unnecessary.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] C. Industrial Application Field] The present invention provides a diet balloon, more specifically, a diet balloon that is inserted into the stomach through the esophagus, inflated within the stomach, and left in place to compensate for the feeling of hunger in the human body. , relates to a diet balloon for suppressing appetite and weight loss.

[Prior Art] As is well known, this type of diet balloon has the following characteristics:
As an example, as shown in FIG. 3, the balloon body 21 is made of a thin film of acid-resistant vinyl material and is formed into a donut-like cylindrical shape with a cavity 22 in the center, and has a capacity of about 100 cc. be. When inserting this into the stomach, the pre-folded balloon main body 21 is inserted into the tip of a balloon catheter (not shown) and inserted into the stomach via the balloon catheter. When the balloon body 21 is inflated by supplying air from an air supply port (not shown), the balloon body 21 is removed from the catheter and placed in the stomach.

After achieving the above-mentioned weight loss in this way, the diet balloon body 21 is recovered, and this recovery work is carried out using an endoscope and a treatment tool, such as a grasping forceps with a needle and a holder attached to the sheath tip. was used as a retrieval tool, which pierced the balloon body 21 to remove air, deflated it, and grabbed it out of the body.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] As described above, in the conventional diet balloon, after the weight loss effect is confirmed, the deflated balloon body 21 is grasped with the grasping forceps, and the balloon body 21 is held in a deflated state. They tried to collect it by pulling it out of the body from inside the stomach, but
It is extremely difficult and troublesome to firmly grasp the deflated diet balloon with grasping forceps, and it has the disadvantage that it comes off during recovery and is difficult to remove.

[Means and effects for solving the problems] The present invention has the following features:
In order to achieve the above object, the diet balloon body is characterized by having a double layered structure consisting of an inner acid-soluble film and an outer acid-resistant thin film. The balloon body is inserted into the human stomach, inflated and left in place, and when it is no longer needed after achieving a weight loss effect, a heat probe capable of heating at high temperatures (for example, Olympus HPU) is attached to the bag-shaped diet balloon body. , multiple holes are made to allow gastric juices etc. to infiltrate inside;
The acid-soluble inner layer is completely dissolved in -1: gastric juice, leaving only the outer layer consisting of the thin film, which is naturally excreted from the body by the spiral action of the digestive system. This is what I did.

FIG. 1 is a sectional view of a diet balloon body showing a first embodiment of the present invention. This diet balloon body 1
The overall shape is almost the same as the conventional diet balloon main body 21 shown in FIG. 3, and is formed into a donut-like cylindrical shape with a cavity 2 in the center. The film formed on the balloon body has a two-layer structure consisting of an acid-soluble inner layer 3 and an outer layer 4 made of an acid-resistant thin film coated on the inner layer 3. By injecting air into the enclosed bag-like body 5, it assumes the cylindrical shape shown in the figure.

The diet balloon main body 1 configured in this way is placed in the stomach in the same manner as conventional ones, and when it achieves a weight loss effect and is no longer needed, it is collected outside the body. It is done as follows. First, a heat probe that can heat the diet balloon body 1 inside the stomach at a high temperature is used to pierce the outer layer 4 and inner layer 3 to make a plurality of holes. Then, gastric juice infiltrates into the bag-like body 5 through these holes and dissolves the inner layer 3. On the other hand, the air that had filled the inside of the bag-like body 5 is also released from the holes, and the outer layer of the thin film 4 is deflated.
Only solid matter remains, but since it is extremely small, it does not pose any problem and is naturally excreted from the body by the spiral movement of the digestive system.

In this way, the recovery of the diet balloon body 1 does not require the troublesome work of grasping and pulling it out with a treatment instrument as in the past, but it can be simply pierced with a heat probe or the like as described above, and the rest is naturally excreted. Therefore, a great effect can be achieved in that no special collection means is required.

[Effects of the Invention] As explained above, according to the present invention, the membrane of the balloon has a laminated structure consisting of an acid-soluble inner layer and an acid-resistant outer layer, so that the balloon can be indwelled in the stomach and achieve a weight loss effect. By simply making multiple holes in a diet balloon that is no longer needed after using a diet balloon, the inner layer is dissolved by gastric juice, and the acid-resistant outer layer that remains is dissolved by the action of the spiral movement of the digestive system. Since the diet balloon is naturally excreted, there is no need for special means such as conventional cumbersome grasping tools to retrieve it from the body, and therefore, it is possible to provide a diet balloon that eliminates the drawbacks of the conventional diet balloon.
