Abstract

PURPOSE:To certainly recover an unnecessitated endogastric indwelling ballon to the outside of the body in an extremely easy manner, by providing a taking- out protruding part to the outer surface of the balloon. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of semi-ring shape protruding parts 4 are provided to at least one of both end surfaces 2a, 2b and outer peripheral surface 3 of an endogastric indwelling balloon 1. The endogastric indwelling balloon 1 is stayed in the stomach for a required period and, when said balloon 1 becomes unnecessary to be recovered, the balloon 1 is punctured with a needle like forcepts under the observation through an endoscope to contract the expanded endogastric indwelling balloon 1 and one of the protruding parts 4 is grasped by a scissors like grasping forceps 6 to the outside of the body through said grasping forceps 6.

Detailed Description of the Invention [Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to an intragastric indwelling balloon, specifically, a gastric indwelling balloon that is endoscopically inserted into the stomach, inflated within the stomach, and left as it is. This invention relates to an intragastric indwelling balloon for dieting that compensates for the human body's sense of hunger and suppresses appetite for weight loss.

[Prior Art] As is well known, a conventional intragastric indwelling balloon 21 of this type is made of an acid-resistant vinyl thin film and has a donut shape with a cavity 22 in the center, as shown in FIG. It is formed in a cylindrical shape, has an air inlet 23 on one end face, and has a capacity of about 100 cc.

When inserting this indwelling balloon 21 into the stomach, it is folded in advance, attached to the tip of a well-known balloon catheter (not shown), and inserted endoscopically into the stomach via the same balloon catheter. Air is injected through the air inlet 23 through the same balloon catheter to inflate the intragastric indwelling balloon 21 to the state shown in FIG. 6, and then the intragastric indwelling balloon 21 is left in the stomach as it is. Since the intragastric indwelling balloon 21 placed in the stomach reduces the feeling of hunger and suppresses appetite, the weight loss effect becomes obsolete after being indwelled for a certain period of time, for example, several months.

After achieving the weight loss described above, the balloon 21 indwelled in the stomach is retrieved outside the body. This retrieval operation is performed by first using a heater probe to remove the balloon 21 indwelled in the stomach through an endoscope. After making a hole in the balloon and releasing air to shrink the balloon, the deflated balloon is grasped using grasping forceps (not shown) and recovered outside the body.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] By the way, as described above, in the conventional intragastric indwelling balloon 21, after the weight loss effect is confirmed, the deflated intragastric indwelling balloon 21 is grasped with grasping forceps. However, since the surface of the intragastric indwelling balloon 21 is smooth and coated with gastric mucus, etc., it is slippery, so it must be firmly grasped with gripping forceps. This is not easy and is extremely troublesome, and has the disadvantage that it may come off during recovery, making recovery difficult.

[Means and effects for solving the problems] The present invention has the following features:
In order to achieve the above object, the 1'-1 intragastric indwelling balloon is characterized in that a retrieval protrusion is provided on the surface thereof, and by grasping this protrusion with grasping forceps or the like,
This ensures that used balloons can be easily recovered from the body.

The intragastric indwelling balloon 1 of this embodiment configured as described above is indwelled in the stomach for a required period of time, and when it becomes unnecessary and is recovered, it is removed using needle forceps or the like (not shown) under observation with an endoscope. After the intragastric indwelling balloon 1, which has been perforated and inflated, is shrunk, as shown in FIG. 6 and collected outside the body. In this way, it is easy to grasp one of the many protrusions 4 with the grasping forceps 6, and the intragastric indwelling balloon 1 can be easily and reliably held without being removed by the grasping forceps 6. It can be recovered outside the body.

Intragastric indwelling balloon 1 of the present embodiment configured as described above
1 can be retrieved very easily by grasping the bamboo-shaped protrusion 7 of the contracted intragastric indwelling balloon 1 with the grasping forceps 6 (see FIG. 2) or well-known snare-type forceps 8. This provides the advantage of being able to reliably collect the waste.

This intragastric indwelling balloon 15 is also similar to the above-mentioned item 1. Since the structure is almost the same as that of the intragastric indwelling balloons 1 and 11 of the second embodiment, the same components will be designated by the same reference numerals.
The explanation will be omitted. A disc-shaped elastic member 10 made of a rubber material or the like is integrally provided on the front end surface 2a of the intragastric indwelling balloon 15, and the elastic member 10 is provided with a diametrical slit 9. The thread-like member 1 is provided with stoppers 11a and llb at both ends of the slit 9.
2 is inserted airtightly. When the intragastric indwelling balloon 15 is not being recovered, most of the filamentous member 12 is stored inside the balloon 15, and only the front stopper 11a and the front end are passed through the elastic member 10 to the front end 2a. It's out.

Intragastric indwelling balloon 15 of this embodiment configured as described above
To recover the balloon, the part of the intragastric device balloon 15 that has been pierced and shrunk and is exposed to the outside of the filamentous member 12 is grasped with grasping forceps 6 (see FIG. 2), and the filamentous member is further pulled out. If this is wrapped around the grasping forceps 6 or the like and pulled out, the stopper 11b for preventing the rear part of the isogenic part 12 from falling out catches the inner wall of the intragastric indwelling balloon 15 and pulled out. The deflated balloon can then be retrieved outside the body.

Note that the present invention is not limited to simply providing a protrusion and pulling it out mechanically as shown in the above embodiments; for example, as shown in FIG. A magnet plate 13 may be used instead of the balloon protrusion. By providing a large number of magnetic plates 13 on the outer circumferential surface of the intragastric indwelling balloon 16 in this way, the magnetic plates 13 may be absorbed by grasping forceps (generally metal products); Grasping the intragastric balloon by making the gripping forceps magnetic.

[Effects of the Invention] As explained above, according to the present invention, intragastric indwelling
It is possible to provide an extremely convenient intragastric indwelling balloon that greatly improves the workability of grasping and removing the balloon during the retrieval work of the balloon, and greatly reduces the pain of thinking and the fatigue of the operator.
