Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of automatic document translation by decomposing address expression into elements on the basis of address section information and translating them individually when the address expression is inputted in the 1st language, and then reconstituting translation data into address information in the 2nd language. CONSTITUTION:The address section information 21 includes KEN(prefecture), SHI(city), MACHI(street), and CHO(avenue) and the number of an address index showing exclusive relation is entered in each item together. An address element analyzing device 20 analyzes the input by using them.
