１〜３図に示すように、電子チューナを用いた場合には
発光ダイオード（ＬＥＤ）１を点灯させる表示、数字表
示素子２による表示、もしくは、映像管３の画面上に文
字４を映出する表示等のものがある、これらのほとんど
のものは選局釦によって選択された選局ポジションに相
当する数字によって表示をするものである。ところが、
電子チューナを用いる場合には、選択可能な選局ポジシ
ョンのいずれにも任意の選局チャンネルを設定する（た
とえば、第１ポジシヨンには第４６チヤンネルを、第２
ポジシヨンには第５チヤンネルを、というように）こと
ができるため、どのポジションによって実際のどのチャ
ンネルが選局されているのかが一目ではわからないとい

置を設定し、そこにポジション文字６と点滅するチャン
ネル文字７とを表示するだめの文字映像信号を発生する
