PURPOSE:To change OSs speedily and easily, by loading necessary OSs selectively by only supplying a command for allowing plural OSs to reside in an auxiliary storage device. CONSTITUTION:The programs of plural OSs are allowed to reside in the auxiliary storage device 5 (e.g. fixed magnetic disk). One OS in the auxiliary storage device 5 is loaded selectively into a main storage device 1 through the processing of a CPU2 by inputting the command on a keyboard 3 or by operating a prescribed key 6, etc. When the OS is replaced, another command is supplied similarly to transfer a specific OS from said auxiliary storage device immediately, so the operation is made easier than before.
