Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent an accident due to overheat of a brake in case of running on a downward slope, by detecting the temperature of brake cooling oil of an ore carrying truck, and raising an alarm. CONSTITUTION:A temperature sensor 1 consists of a thermistor which is capable to measuring continuously, detects a temperature of a brake outlet part of brake cooling oil, and outputs a corresponding temperature signal et. A temperature sensor 2 consists of a bimetal switch, and executes an on-and-off operation by the temperature of brake cooling oil. The outputs of the sensor 1 and 2 are provided to a temperature sensor fault detecting device 3, a signal lt is compared with set temperature signals Sa, Sb, respectively, and when a fault has occured, a fault signal is supplied to an alarm device by logical decision of each compared output and the output of the sensor 2.
