Abstract

PURPOSE:To conduct a nondestructive test of the inner part of a test body in detail, by rotating the test body and carying out only the straight motion of radiant ray source and then, obtaining >=3 one-dimentional intensity distribution and moreover, synthesizing by operation a picture of a cross section of the test body. CONSTITUTION:A pair of a radiant ray source 22 and a scintillation counter 32, is moved in one body along a straight line 5 so as to pass a beam 8 through a cross section 2 and the radiant ray transmitted a body to be tested 1 is detected by the counter 32. The output (a), (b) of the scintillation counters 32, 37 are inputted to a buffer memory through an amplifier 41, an AD transducer 43 and are stored in correspondence to moving distance. When the scanning is finished, the body is rotated and reverse projection images are obtained successively by changing a direction of the beam 8. Said images are overlapped by an operating in a CPU47 and a picture of the section 2 of the body 1 is displayed on a CRT59. Hereby, prevention of the radiant ray is facilitated and also the inorganic body 1 can be tested in detail.
