Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain sectional pictures in a high speed and apply tomograph to the industry measurement field by using an analogue memory as the picture meory. CONSTITUTION:An object which has a uniform transmittivity for X rays and has one position difficult to transmit X rays through is scanned by narrow beam-shaped X rays from an X-ray source, and X rays are received a detector to obtain waveform p1. Next, the position of the X-ray source and the detector is changed to obtain waveforms p2 and p3. Sectional image A' which corresponds to the position difficult to transmit X rays through is obtained while scanning picture memory 5 correspondingly to the scanning results above. Here, a scan converter is used as an analogue picture memory which can overwrite data onto picture memory 5. In respect to the scan converter, influences caused by accessing the memory face by beam can be eliminated if a proper potential is given to the secondary electron control grid to balance the charge of incident electrons and the charge of the secondary electrons. Then, read operation is performed by detecting emitted secondary electrons, and write operation is performed by changing the potential of the control grid.
