Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve starting characteristics and reduce an exhaust amount of a black smoke, a HC, a CO or the like by correcting an amount of a fuel injected at a cranking on the bases of a starting r.p.m., temperatures of an engine and a lapse of time after the cranking.
CONSTITUTION: A fuel controller controls a fuel injection regulating mechanism 62 on the basis of running speeds IS3 of an engine and positions IS1 of an accelerating pedal. When the engine starts, a function generating circuit 103 issues a corrective coefficient G1 corresponding to a running speed. The function generating circuit 104 provides a corrective coefficient G2 corresponding to an engine temperature in response to a temperature signal IS6. A function generating circuit 105 outputs a corrective coefficient G3 corresponding to a lapse of time in response to a signal of a counter 106. Based on those corrective coefficients G1WG3, a fuel injection control signal OS4 is sent to a servo circuit 18 to control fuel injection. The most proper amount of fuel can be injected at starting.
